I had an appointment for tire changeover this morning…read more I went to the Swanson Ave location. Driving along N. Tommy Moe Dr. an employee got out of his car from the parking lot and ran out into the street right in front of me so I had to hit my brakes pretty hard to avoid hitting him. He darted into the employee entrance door in the back of the building. This guy literally played frogger running into traffic. I went to the tire shop. There was a sign on the front door that said the tire changeover is to be checked in at the front desk of the other building. So I went to the other building. The skinny white woman at the counter mumbled when she spoke so I couldn't tell what she was saying. She also barely moves her lips when she speaks like a ventriloquist. She was very grouchy and rude. I was able to decipher that she was telling me that my appointment was at the other building and pointed to the building next door. So I walked over to the building next-door, which was the building I had initially went to with the sign telling me to go to another building. The ill tempered Burnett lady inside told me that I need to go back to the first building and pointed me towards the other building. I told her they had just sent me over here. She turned around and walked away. So I begin walking again across the parking lot towards the other building and this time a third employee with bad posture was walking out the door and met me in the parking lot. He told me that there was another location near Carrs where my appointment was. (He was also rude And grouchy as well, but at least he told me what I needed to know. This information would've been helpful at the very beginning).

Best service I've ever received for anything car-related…read more And some of the best service I've ever received. In Alaska, having a busted-ass windshield starts as a right-of-passage, and then quickly becomes a way of life. There is just too much damn gravel up here! Gravel on the roads to act like a crampon for your tires in the winter, then long gravel roads to get to remote Alaska destinations in the summer! I've been driving with a monster crack for well over a year. I dread the price to get it replaced, I dreaded getting it replaced and immediately getting blasted with gravel again. Finally I bit the bullet. I priced it out on Safelite's website and...it was almost a THOUSAND dollars. :( This was without insurance, because I was I pretty sure my insurance wouldn't cover the windshield outside of the standard $500 deductible. Why file a claim to pay $500 anyway? But, upon seeing nearing 1k, I figured, "Why not?" I went to my insurance website and...it was only going to set me back $50, and Safelite was going to come to my work and do the job? What?! I have Geico, and I had no idea my policy included this. I suggest you check yours. Hell, it might be worth factoring in windshield coverage next time you're shopping for insurance! I scheduled an appointment through Geico, and Safeway contacted me soon after. I couldn't get an appointment for a few weeks but, they told me the windshield should be there on Monday and to give them a call and see if they can move the appointment up. I did, and they did! Their communication was strong and effortless. I got a text message (complete with photo) when my tech, Kyle, was on his way. Kyle showed up and was super friendly and explained everything well. In a few hours, I had a brand-new windshield! The whole process was frictionless and easy, I was bowled over. Now I can finally get back to being anxious for when the next gravel-missile is going to detonate on my brand new windshield! Thank you Safelite and thank you Kyle! (oh, and Geico too!)

Extremely poor service! I am absolutely appalled at how I have been treated. I've used Safelite…read morenumerous times over the years with never an issue, always top notch service ... until now. Windshield replacement was scheduled initially over a week ago & was given a 4hr window, 8am-12pm. Just after 11:30, I get a call saying we need to reschedule because our tech didn't show up to work. Ok, you could have called me at 8:30 to reschedule so I didn't wait around for 4hrs for you to NOT SHOW UP! Rescheduled for today, tech (Junior) leaves a message at 10:30 saying I was the next stop but shows up AFTER 12pm. Takes 1 look at my truck & says that since there is rust along the top of my roof, his 12 years of experience tells him that the rust & corrosion is going to be along that lip & policy will prevent him from putting in a new windshield but he won't know for sure until removing the old windshield. Umm what? So remove my windshield & then based upon his opinion, a new windshield is not likely to be installed? Oh & then I will have to have it towed to a body shop to fix that lip before they can install the windshield?? Oh sure, I just happen to have other vehicles at home to drive while this takes week to pan out. In what world does that make sense to continue? I then get a call from Safelites manager (Scott) who tells me I heard his tech wrong ... excuse me? You want to tell me what I heard your tech say was wrong? I'm old, not deaf. No wonder Safelite sucks now!

The person who does their paint damaged the inside of my truck, along with leaving garbage inside my truck(tape and a grey scour sponge). They dug and pried at the window button on the driver side rear door and completely snapped the brackets that hold it and dug huge holes into it. Classic collision fixed that. Then after they fixed that a new dent showed up in the corner panel that they just fixed, no scratches, no paint transfer. In a place that car doors can't reach. Then upon further inspection there is debris in the paint job. 2023 Ford Maverick. It's new and shouldn't be treated this way. I have waited MANY years for a new car. This is mine and they treated it like crap.

Anna, the the miserable woman who I had the unfortunate luck of speaking with over the phone was rude the entire time and never once even humored me and offered to take a look at it she began to tell me about her "years of experience in the tire industry" which apparently gives you the ability to diagnose an issue over the phone. If you can avoid this company, do. Very unprofessional and the staff is laughable at best, been waiting for a call from the "regional manager" for about 4 days, if I could give 0 stars I would again avoid going to this "business" if you can
