With a painful heart...I asked Frank to do a paint match on my truck. The job seemed to rush to completion. Not only wasn't it paint matched but there was extensive paint over the truck from when they sprayed painted it. He also charged me for the roof f my truck to be painted , but only painted a small portion and threw on some clear coat on top. I had to take my truck to another shop to get the job done right. Terrible customer service. Told this guy I needed help with a Fender Fix due to a previous job done wrong. Completely wasted my time! Sent photos, ETC. When I mentioned I couldn't make a deposit today. He slowly started to back out of the deal. SUPER sketch! You're a random mechanic online, not everyone is gonna be okay with sending you 50% of the total! I was about to give in too. But instead said I can just do the deposit on Friday and schedule a different day. He mentions that he may be booked and won't have a day to do it, due to other projects. Misjudged my garage and scraped my car significantly. Started a Yelp search and Franky was the first to respond. I told him I wanted to get other quotes. Two other companies reached out, but I didn't bother waiting for their quotes. I liked Franky's demeanor and honesty on that initial call, so I asked that he repair my damage. WOW. Sonny and Frank are awesome. My Tesla bumper got scraped up, one spot all the way through the paint and clear coat. I sent a request via Yelp with photos and received a response and estimate later that day. They were great in explaining the process and approach in how they would repair the bumper and came over the next day to check the car to ensure the right paint color match. They came this morning at the scheduled time (arrived early!) and less than 2 hours later my bumper looked brand new! No one would be able to tell that it had even been damaged. The same work by a body shop would have easily cost me over $1000 and taken over a week, but they did it for a fraction of the cost and time. He purchased and installed the wrong side mirror on the family car. He was supposed to replace it with the correct mirror later but never followed through. I ended up with one manual and one automatic mirror instead of 2 automatic mirrors. Not a happy customer. Updated: Your review was based on the fact that you replaced an automatic mirror with a manual mirror. I gave you over 2 months to make it right and you didn't. Making disclaimer statements after installing the wrong mirror did not help. You asked me to give you a good review upfront. Regarding the mirror, your statement about the vin number and that it comes with a manual mirror is yet to be verified. I reached out to you several times asking you to purchase the correct mirror to replace the wrong mirror that you installed. Unfortunately, it became clear from your last response that you have no intention of doing so. As a professional, I expect you to replace the automatic mirror with a similar automatic mirror, not a manual mirror like you did. Someone scraped up my car in the grocery store parking lot yesterday (Front quarter panel looked like the 49ers after the Super Bowl). I contacted Speedy through Yelp and they called within about 10 minutes. Sonny assessed the cost and gave a range based on the photo provided. Sonny and his polite assistant (sorry, didn't catch his name!) showed up at my house within 30-45 minutes (we're not far from the shop). The price quoted was in the middle of the range. He ended up driving the car back to his shop in order to do a better job on a dent using some other equipment. They delivered the car back to my house when finished.
