You definitely have to search for this place, drive to the back of the truck stop and it's next to an oil change/truck wash spot. Ordered the chicken tikka masala and special lamb biryani with a naan. ~$40 & so worth it. Enough to take home. It's a no frills, truck stop, pick up place, but the food is yummy. Spice on point! We ordered at a 7/10, spicy but still enjoyable. They'll ask you how hot you want it, 0-10. Naan is fresh, lamb was slow cooked and tender, spices well balanced. Like a party in your mouth. Sweet, savory, herby, cooled by the yogurt sauce, spicy, buttery and everything in between. We aren't in the area too often, but it's a great find if you are on your way to CA, on your way back, or are in the Buckeye area for any reason. Everything on the menu sounded delish.

I think I was too quick to judge this place as it's on the outskirts and everything. I think this is the best Indian food I've had. Got some for pick up and the chicken tandoori and tikka Malasa were tender and so delicious. I was sad to forget some pickle at the table but for sure next time I won't ! It took a while to make but it is a small spot so I don't blame them.

Garlic naan, 16 oz. Chicken Tikka Masala, 16 oz. Chicken Biryani, basmati rice, gulab dessert balls.

5 star!!! Do not sleep on this place!!! Food is incredible. I've eaten a lot of Indian food and this place ranks very high on my list. I always want my Indian nuclear levels of spicy. And at most places it's mild at best. The biryani actually had a good kick to it. The best part was the staff. The guy who took my order was a gem! Chicken tikka masala 4.5/5. It was a *little*sweet, but not in a bad way. I've had tikka masala where it tasted like pure sugar. This was not that. The flavors were complex and delicious. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Chicken biryani 5/5. The chicken was moist, tender and packed with flavor. And it was SPICY. It's not like the more mainstream biryani; however, it is now one of my favorites. Basmati rice 5/5. Fluffy and good aroma. Garlic naan 5/5. Tender bread, good garlic. Dessert: 5/5. Excellent.

    Lemon Pickles!

We were driving through and needed a good place for dinner. Although it is near the highway, it is a bit tucked away. As long as you know it is by the truck wash you'll feel confident to find it. The interior is casual dining and it seems they do good take away business as well. The menu had lots of options including vegetarian and gluten free dishes. The food we ordered was delicious. I had the dal makhani, and the family ordered chicken biryani, goat curry and naan. We mostly ordered 5-6 on their spicy scale and that wasn't crazy hot. The non-rice based mains came with a serving of rice and the goat curry came with raita. Their single serving of naan was generous. The food came packaged on a tray like we were talking it to go which worked out because we had leftovers we wanted to take with us.

Great little hidden gem in Buckeye! We came across this place due to the great reviews and were not disappointed. Butter chicken and garlic naan were amazing! The person at the front was so sweet and helpful when it came to picking out items to try. Please support this local place, might not be very glamorous but food is worth it!

I have been planning to try Punjabi Dhabi in Buckeye just off Miller Road every-time I see it is ranked #1 in Yelp for the area. The restaurant is located through the reception sign of the truck car wash behinds Loves. There was a constant flow of customers stopping by. I waited and took my order to go even though they have clean booths and tables to sit at. I opted for the classic chicken tikka masala which comes with a small side of rice. It was very very good. They asked for my heat level and I opted for medium-which I now feel slightly on my lips. I will definitely go back and try others items. I ordered two garlic naan which was cut in half so four large halves but I really only needed one. Maybe since I drove home with my take away the Naan was a little chewy but still decent. I agree with the top rating.

Speedy Punjabi Dhaba is a hole in a truck wash wall, packed with surprising flavor - even by the tub if you wish! As a Punjabi truck driver, there is nothing I crave more during a 6 hour drive than some dhaba. Despite the chana masala gravy being tomato-less, the chicken Tikka masala was outstanding! Truck De Phatte!!

This is my first time here and the food and service is amazing! Highly recommend! It is tucked away at the truck wash. We found the hidden treasure! Butter Chicken is so delicious!

I literally cannot explain how amazing this chicken was. So tender, and every single bite was bursting with flavor.

Now I know people aren't driving alllllll the way out here to Miller Rd in Buckeye to grab Indian cuisine, but if you happen to be in the area, give this spot a try. I first heard about it in local FB groups and was a little concerned about the location, and that it's here in Buckeye, competing against tacos and burgers, but I am so thankful to have this place a mile from home. We will absolutely be going back again and again. They don't have online ordering, and when trying to order by phone, there was no answer. Not an issue though, less than 20 mins to drive there, order, and get back home. The service was great, and my husband even said "the guy was very pleased with the amount of food I ordered" haha! I didn't take pictures of everything, but what we got: Butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, tandoori chicken, palak paneer, garlic naan, rice pudding, and mango lassi. I make butter chicken and chicken Tikka masala and this was every bit as amazing as what I make. The tandoori chicken was fan-freaking-phenomenal! I could have eaten just that and been completely satisfied. Incredible, get it! I wasn't a fan of the mango lassi, I don't know if it was because it was warm, or maybe just too much turmeric for my taste, but I wanted to like it. Anyways, give this place a shot! Saves a drive into the city and supports a small local business.

We did a half order of it, and decided next time we would do a full order and an order of the Butter chicken to split. Our server was probably one of the worst servers I have ever had. Zero personality and literally never said one word to us. Several to go orders and Uber Eats people came in and out while we waited about 10 minutes. We finally told the man at the front desk that we needed to order and get some drinks. Server came over with his notepad and looked at us to take orders, didn't say a word. When he brought the dishes, a few minutes later, he literally plopped all of them in one spot in the table without making any attempt to remember which dish went to which person. Very odd behavior The dishes on the menu are clearly marked vegetarian, vegan or contains meat. We had two dishes that were supposed to be vegan, one was a saag dish which they had placed butter over the top of. It looked delicious to everyone, but the vegans who could not eat it. When we pointed it out, they made no attempt to offer us another dish and just said oh yes, that's ghee (clarified butter) we said the menu indicated it was vegan, but again no response. The two vegans at our table just decided rather than argue, they will share the rice dish, which was also indicated as vegan. As they started to eat it, they realized there were several pieces of paneer in it. I really hope this was a one off because this was one of my favorite places to eat Indian food. Very very disappointing and no accommodation for the inedible dishes.

The food was pretty good here, however, I was severely annoyed with the waitress who wasn't really trying to service her customers but wanted to argue for most of the experience here so hence the two stars. Read on to see why I gave a lower rating than I normally would. Since this place is called Tap N Tikka, they had a nice selection of draft beers and I was impressed with their menu, which was on a digital board. The waitress tried to sell me on an Indian brewed beer (for example, Taj) and I just wasnt in the mood for one. Ive been to India several times and have had some of their beers in country. I asked for the Roses by the Stairs Czech Pale Ale and she didnt know if they had it. So I then said, if you dont have Roses by the Stairs, I'll take a Schoner Tag, which is a wheat style Hefeweizen. She then brought me the Schoner Tag, which was a very good beer. Next, we told her we weren't too hungry and mainly wanted to snack on some items and this is where she was being quite annoying. I mentioned the chaat on their menu and thought maybe these would be small bites as these are considered roadside snacks in India, but then she had to tell me oh no they are big portions, so I am like ok... I then saw kati rolls on the menu and thought we could get these and she says oh they are like big burritos, so then I said, well we could cut them in half and share it, but she seemed to think oh they are too big. OK, so after discussing the appetizer menu and couldnt seem to land on much, we now move onto entrees. She then suggests we share a dish, which we were both fine with. She initially suggested Reshmi chicken and said it had a creamy sauce, so we agreed. So, when we finally order the Reshmi chicken, I also asked for a garlic naan to soak up the sauce with and then waitress says oh its not too saucy. So, at this point, I am like whatever lady, can we just order here as you're not being helpful?? Then, she says oh popular dishes here are chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and also bhuna chicken. She said bhuna chicken was her favorite and better than the other two and had a sauce to it, so we finally agreed on this. When the chicken arrived, it came with rice and also we ordered the garlic naan too. The chicken was very good and flavorful, but I doubt it was bhuna chicken as it was a lot more saucy than how bhuna chicken is normally cooked. Bhuna chicken is normally more dry, so I dont know what this waitress is talking about. Garlic naan was so-so and I have had much better elsewhere and for $4.95 a piece, not worth it. I didnt eat much as I was headed to another meal, but did have a bite of chicken for taste and had one piece of naan. We had leftovers and she brought two take away containers. I asked for another container and she wanted to argue about this too. At this point, I just wanted to get out of here. I was like, lady, can you stop arguing with me? The food here was good, but the service was severely ruined by a waitress that didnt know what she was talking about and kept arguing. I thoroughly did not enjoy this experience. And on my receipt, the order was rung up as Butter Chicken and not Bhuna Chicken. With so much competition now (and so hard to earn a dollar and with skyrocketing inflation) and with plenty of other good Indian restaurants around, needles to say, Tap N Tikka, you lost my business and I wont be coming back, thanks to your rude and not knowledgeable waitress.
