Super quick and easy place for a vehicle smog check. We walked in and walked out in less than 15 minutes! Nice people run the place too. The cost is $48 for cars newer than the year 2000. I came here when I first moved back to California! I came in the morning and they took me in as soon as I got there. I was out of there within 30 minutes or less I believe. Both of the staff I saw there were so friendly and welcoming and they explained the process of registering my vehicle from out of state. If all you need is a smog and vehicle registration, come to speedy smog! They will save you so much time and energy from going to the DMV (even if the nearest DMV was 10 minutes away from them). Story time.. this happened today! At 5pm! I "registered" my car last week, and thought I completed all steps. Come to find out in the way most people don't, I GOT PULLED OVER! Telling me I have no registration.. yes i got a ticket (after i even showed my receipt for the registration). Fast forward (it's now 5:30) i call speedy smog and ask them when they close. The man on the phone said 6:00pm. I would take me 15 minutes to get there and i ask "do you mind if i come that close to close" his response was "no bring it in as long as you are here before 6." So I put my speed racer hat on (following all California laws of the road. I did not speed) and got over there before close. Their customer service was amazing, they are super friendly and had me in and out in 5-10 minutes. This is the only place I will go from now on. read more
