Okay this place is the real deal.... FOR REAL I came in, well at open, not a soul was there, handed over paper work and the tech comes to get the key RIGHT away. I filled out their paperwork, sat down, count to 20 and the car was back @ their front door. COMPLETED. Passed all tests. I was initially skeptical at other posts about how quick their service was, and I was amazed to be proven wrong. I barely took 2 sips of my snobbish starbucks frappy and the whole process was done. Only downside is they don't take American Express which is a shame cause that's the only credit card i have. They will gladly take every other credit card, but no amex. Also no check either. IF you ever have doubts about shady smog station, and trust me I been through several bad ones, do yourself a favor and come here. I been to stations that claim my car failed smogs and wanted money for repair and it was simply blackmail. This place is AWESOME and aint in the same snake game as other stations around town. I needed a smog check last month saw their place thru here in yelp. Most of the common word in the reviews " they are fast " I was skeptical in the beginning until my smog test is done in less than 10mins gave my car keys and sat down to fill some info of my car before I know it it's being park by the door already. Very satisfied in the service very helpful and accommodating they know I have my puppy with me they closed the front door so I can let my puppy ( Pembroke Corgi ) play around without getting out while I fill in the paper work. That is a 5 star service they make you feel like family and long time customer on my first time visit definitely got my business for good and a recommendation to all the people I know that needed some service in their vehicle. Eddie at Jefferson Smog Test Only Center is very customer driven. He is very courteous. You are in and out not much longer than it takes to fill out the paper work. I have been taking our many cars here for years. It is hidden all the way in the back, so don't get tricked by other smog signs in the front offices, as they are NOT the same place! Eddie is the last suite in the back. I accidentally went to the other two places and they were NOT the same! So be careful and don't get them mixed up as I did long ago. Came in to use their registration services to register my Yamaha rhino , should have known girl at counter didn't know what she was doing , when she asked me if I was registering my motorcycle as she's looking at my title and paper work , she input wrong vin number on system witch made it red flag vin number now I HAVE TO GO To DMV so they can do a vin number verification thanks for headache. If you guys are gonna do registration you guys should train girls at counter a lot better , also didn't like fact she helped other people that walked in after me had me waiting around for no reason what a joke. read more

I brought in my vehicle and had some issues with my vehicle that prevented it from passing the first time so I got a pretest and had to retest a few times. Markuss was a very patient and helpful technician when I had to return 3 times. Every time I went in it took less than 20 minutes even when there were customers in front of me. Full staffed, fast paced location. I went here twice in a month for two different vehicles. In/Out with a few others ahead of me within fifteen minutes, and within ten minutes being the only one there. Appear to be honest, hardworking and there to pass your vehicle. Not sure about 1 star rating for Jefferson smog . I just got home from getting my 20 yr old Ford Ranger to pass the retest after I had fixed a few issues . Ray is the man . With his vast experience and willingness to do the extra to get your vehicle pass and you a happy customer my truck has another 2 yrs. to ride . I was about ready to get rid of it . I went to this place because the online reviews were so good. They totally lived up to the reviews given. They were extremely fast, reasonably priced, pleasant, and honest. I will return and recommend them to everyone. It is a little hard to find the place just because there are so many smog centers around that area.
