I've always been able to get an appointment the same day or the next day. They're located toward the end of the parking lot once you pull in. The smog check itself usually takes about 15-20 minutes, and there's a small office where you can wait while they complete the inspection. Once you pass, they provide the paperwork right away, and I've been able to renew my DMV registration within a few hours. If you need a smog check in the area, I definitely recommend checking them out. Great service, convenient appointments, and a very quick turnaround!

We were getting some bad codes that prevented it from being smogged and I went to another smog place in Concord. I was sold approx $800 in repairs and THEN told that I should call CarFax get a quote and take it and get rid of the car! This 2015 Malibu is hardley drive as I work from home 100K milles. After hitting another auto repair place it was told to me... Im betting this would pass go to BAYSIDE SMOG... I did and Im glad I did. Retold my story to Naqib and he smiled and stayed neutral on it while seeing the disbelief in his eyes on my being told the car would cost more to repair and smog than to just "sell it as is" It took them 15 minutes maybe to smog the car with no issues... no weird side gimmicks or tricks, the car just passed as it was. The technician (bald-headed guy) initially told me, "You passed." I paid, and he proceeded to prepare the paperwork. Then, almost immediately after I paid, he suddenly told me, "Actually, you didn't pass." I was completely confused and asked what happened. Instead of explaining the situation professionally, he had a smirky attitude and said, "Did you get it out of your system?" It came across as extremely dismissive and almost like he was trying to gaslight me. Whether my vehicle passed or failed is one thing, but the way this was handled was unprofessional and left a very bad impression. I expected a straightforward, professional experience not confusion and attitude after I had already paid!! I understand mistakes happen. But when you can't even get the most basic analysis of a smog check right, it tells me a lot about how accurate the rest of your service may be. If you can't correctly determine whether a vehicle passed or failed, that's a serious problem. And seriously, the tech needs to fix his condescending attitude. Being wrong is one thing, but being condescending while giving out incorrect information makes the experience even worse. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION!! Not even a mention of how long process can take. One of them walked me to the main office and waiting area. I paid for the smog service in less than 3 mins. I was asked to wait in the waiting area until the Smog was finished. The waiting area is very cute with all the decor and model cars. There is also a restroom available in the waiting area. The entire process took less than 20 minutes.
