When dealing with larger automotive shops a lot of times you talk to someone and they don't know what's going on and you get passed around and the process can be overwhelming after a car accident. Brad and his crew were professional, courteous and timely. I knew that my car was in great hands and I didn't have to worry about it. Not only did he fix the front end, he identified some other blemish issues that it had and asked me if I wanted to correct those also. I had been putting off repairing body damage to a 2010 Honda Pilot because I didn't like the estimates and the attitude that I got from a half dozen shops that I visited. I was told about Speedzone from the guys at H-Car Garage in Pacific Beach, and reluctantly, I went and had them assess the work. I was impressed by how thoroughly they went over the work. Brad and his guys were great. They were honest about the time it would take, and they let me know in advance that the color matching would be difficult. It set the expectations correctly. I got the car last night. It looks AWESOME. It isn't possible to see which side to the rear quarter panel had the damage. And the paint simply matched. It looks as good as I've ever seen it. After undergoing a 2 month ordeal with someone I was paying to do some cosmetic changes to my bike, who obviously had no business working on my bike. I called Brad and was able to have my bike towed to his shop immediately. The gentleman who came to tow my bike even gave raving reviews about Brad... I never knew of, or heard of, this shop. But man am I glad I got in touch with Brad, through Yelp. I have an E39 M5, that I bought pre owned with some minor body work done. The repair wasn't great, but wasn't that bad. To me, it felt horrendous. The paint and clear apparently shrunk so it gave these weird marks in the finish. I brought my car to Phil Thearle, they wouldn't touch it. Nor Chapparelle, nor even Body King or whatever they're called. I was advised to go to a restoration place (duh), but the main one in the area was closed. Luckily I found Brad. He assessed my car and gave me two options: 1) color sand, 2) repair. Being a business man, he could have optioned for the costlier (albeit small) option of the two, but he advised me that color sanding would be the easiest option. Saved me money. He is honest and I am really happy with how the finish looks now. He works on classic Ferraris with pristine paint jobs. Better than factory. If I ever need a complete respray, I'll be coming here. Thanks brad, and I'm glad you let me see firsthand your work on the Ferrari Dinos, 512BB, and the 360. The level of meticulous detail is what gave me confidence in my lowly M5. Brad and his crew did an amazing job on my 2004 daytona 955i. He fixed a road rash and missing plastic in my right fairing and the plastic weld was impeccable, I also asked him to fill in the turn signal socket and it's impossible to detect the damage or where the turn signal used to be, best shave job ever. He also did an excellent job in matching the racing yellow paint in house, did not have to order paint from England. Brad is meticulous and a perfectionist he does not rush the job and does not return the product till it's perfect. If he's good enough to work on Ducati and Ferrari he's good enough for my Triumph. Brad does amazing careful work! I had my Porsche front bumper/nose completely refinished by Brad at Speedzone, and the result was flawless to say the least. The color (Porsche lapis blue) is difficult to match (metallic flip flop), yet Brad did it perfectly. It took him more than one mix to accomplish this, but he's a perfectionist :o) . His shop specializes in custom paint on some VERY $$$ vintage Porsches/bikes/Ferrari's etc, so you know you're getting the best. He's not cheap, but my bumper was half the quote from another well known body shop (initials are PT), after it was ruined years ago by a quickie shop (initials are BD...). read more

At first I was not happy with the way one of my stripes looked and they agreed to fix it for me. While I was transporting my tank to his shop, gas spilled out of the petcock hole and ruined my paint job on the left side. They fixed it, got it to me in just four days in order for me to unveil my bike at its first show. Plus, they wouldn't let me pay for it, even though it was my fault. Brad is as professional as they come and as meticulous as I. He not only repaired my damage on my fairing, he found a few other spots that needed touch up and did those as well.
