Karla reached out to me in the morning and I was able to drop off the car same-day. Their office had a small waiting area with a few chairs where guests could escape the sun. They even offered to arrange an Uber to Enterprise so I could pick up my rental, which was appreciated, though we decided to walk since it was only a half-mile away. Despite it being the holidays, my car was ready with a 10-day turnaround! I was slightly stressed when they called at 4:30p to let me know it was ready (they close at 5); however, Karla assured me they'd wait if I was heading over. At pickup, there were a couple issues: a disconnected plug on the passenger side (which required a follow-up visit since the techs had already left) and the fuse box cover had fallen between the driver's seat and console. Upon closer inspection the following day, I noticed they reinstalled the bumper corner protectors about an inch lower than their original position, so they no longer aligned with the bumper's curved shoulder. Although these details detracted from an otherwise positive experience, Black Mountain Collision did an incredible job with the paint match. With a bit more attention to detail, I would have seriously considered bringing the car back for a full respray. I was involved in an accident that resulted in another persons insurance paying for the damage. State Farm claimed that black mountain collision was one of the highest rated in the area. I dropped it off and it was done in 2 weeks. Not only did they fix the bumper and light, they washed my car and they removed some yellow paint that was on the back of my car. A delivery truck backed into my 2014 Nissan Sentra denting the grill and the hood. Took vehicle to BMC and they replaced the hood and painted it. They also repaired the grill. The paint work was a perfect match and all parts installed and repaired were perfectly aligned. I was pleased with the turnaround time on the job which was 4 days. Date of initial visit: December 28, 2021 Two days before Christmas, my car was t-boned by a teeny-bopper who claimed that she couldn't see out her windshield due to the rain... despite it being a light rain and she was at a stop sign when she decided to start moving. Although it took me a month to get my car back due to dealing with the insurance adjustors, the folks at Black Mountain Collision did a great job repairing my door panel and the frame damage. Of course, given how it was shown to be the other drivers fault, insurance covered everything. I would also be remiss if I didn't add that the shop kept me appraised of the repairs once the insurance issues were taken care of in a timely manner. My experience with Black Mountain Collision was great. I brought in my Mini to get mushroomed/deformed shock mount area flattened per recommendation by a Mini Cooper dealership technician. I explained that this mushroomed area causes creaking noises when I drive the car. However, the owner immediately told me that the noises issue is not from this mushroomed shock mount. He suggested me to get second opinion from an auto shop and he didn't want me to waste money on fixing the wrong thing. I then took my car to an auto repair shop to have it inspected. A great local body shop that is friendly, responsive, and professional. Upon first contact, I was impressed by Ricardo's professionalism, letting me know up front about the time it might take for parts to come in (due to delays in the supply chain). Once I sent over the insurance estimate for my front bumper repair/replacement, he quickly called me back to see if I wanted him to order the parts. I confirmed, and parts came in within one week; he scheduled me to bring my car in the very next Monday. Repairs were complete within the week, and my car looked great! As an added bonus, Ricardo mentioned that two of the red bumper pieces were not marked on the estimate to be repainted (like the others), but the body shop painted them free of charge just so they would match the others. I came here to fix my car after a rear end collision, per the advice of my insurance company. I got really bad vibes as they seemed extremely unprofessional and gave me the run around when I would ask questions. So I decided to take my car elsewhere to get it fixed, black mountain collision had already inspected my car and took it apart for the estimate at the time I decided to go elsewhere. I had it towed to the other collision place the next day and BMC charged me a $300 out of pocket fee to have the car put back together so that it could be towed. When the next collision place got my car, they found 1. My windshield was cracked, which had nothing to do with the accident and I have photo proof that I left the car without the windshield crack. 2. My fuel line was cut. The new collision place indicated the fuel line was cut perfectly and not chewed, and it was the only one cut in the bunch (we ruled out that it could have been chewed up by a rodant). They also indicated that whoever cut it, tried to tuck the fuel wire in so that it wouldn't be immediately seen. I questioned the manager Ricardo Cortez Jr from BMC and he immediately got defensive and indicated the windshield was like that when I took it and denied even getting to the fuel line. BMC took my trunk apart and were the only ones who had access to the fuel line. I confirmed with my insurance from the pictures that BMC sent him on day 1 of having my car, that there was no damage to the windshield which means the damage happened while at BMC. They are shady and got upset that I didn't have them work on my car but I'm glad I went with my gut because who knows what else they would have done to my car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! read more

Consultation experience was very poor. Their customer service falls short of what reflects of their 5 star rating. I find it disappointing that I initially requested a quote through Yelp's system and told them I needed the left side of my car repaired through insurance with additional out-of-pocket repairs, yet received rude remarks during the consultation. Mario did the estimate for my car and told him that I went to other shops to get an estimate. One of his rudest remarks was "Oh, you went all the way over there to get an estimate just for /this/?" (It was only less than 20 min. away!) What is this insisting, that my repair wasn't eligible enough to receive a full body servicing? Sure, it's an old car, but I want to receive quality work for my car, not a bad one. Long story short, I didn't proceed any further. Let me start by saying, Mario is THE BEST! He is very kind and comforting, while also being honest and telling you exactly what your problem is and the best/most inexpensive way to fix it. Let's be real, no one is happy when their car is scratched, dented, crashed etc. No one wants to have to go through insurance or pay out of pocket, but Black Mountain Collision made the inconvenience as easy and painless as possible. I will spare the embarrassing details, but at 6 months pregnant (pregnancy brain is a real phenomenon) a very large spider was enough to make me hop out of my car... spoiler alert: I wasn't in park. I went to 3 auto repair shops to get quotes, and they all told me what I already feared, I needed to replace my entire bumper. I also had a very decent sized dent on the back of my car I was looking to fix as well. This was the last shop I stopped at, both other places were trying to charge WAY more than I was quoted at Black Mountain Collision. The prices weren't even comparable.. but the BIGGEST reason I'm leaving a 5 star review isn't the price, it's the QUALITY OF THE WORK. My car looks brand new, they also popped out the back dent free of charge. Mario said it would take 3-4 days, my car was ready in less than 2. AND THEY CLEANED MY CAR! I had a side collision repair with them last year; the repair job was excellent, and the front desk was chill and friendly. The paint job was also great and matched perfectly with factory paint. They obviously excel at their craft as an auto body shop. However, during repair, they had to remove the back seat of my car and were pretty careless with it. The backseat cushion is now bent and does not sit properly with the floor (seat cushion replacement parts cost around $1000). One of the seat-belt buckles is also stuck underneath the seat cushion and is now unusable. Overall, the bodywork done is excellent, but they can generally be negligent with other aspects of your car. read more

After a small accident, part of my bumper ripped off and my fog light fell off. I needed a new bumper ASAP. Ricardo gave me a free estimate and I knew it could've been more expensive at other places just from my past experiences, so I gave them my business on the spot. One of the biggest issues we had to work around was my job schedule since I didn't want to leave my car there and I get off work after they close. Ricardo was able to work with it and suggested that he order the parts now and I could come in when they open and it'll be done by the time I have to drive to work. Very much appreciated! After a few days and attempting to wake up earlier than usual, I was able to come and get my car fixed in less than 1.5 hours! There was a moment when we thought I'd have to leave it longer than expected so Ricardo even offered to pay an Uber to get to my work. So thankful but fortunately it was done it time. The work was good and doesn't look like anything happened!! They were able to buff off some scratches on the hood too. Brought my 2020 challenger here for rear bumper repair because of its 5 star yelp review and told work was so good that I would not tell the difference once repaired. After 3 weeks I went to pick up vehicle the manager wiped the fender where they repaired and a spot of paint wiped off, see pic. I looked and you could see sanding marks in red paint under clear coat. Clear coat was also dimpled and had trash in it. Body QC came out and agreed it need to be re-sprayed. I left car for rework and received a call that owner JR stated car is "good enough and to come pic it up". During pic up I noticed chipped paint on other side of bumper from installation, see thru body gap, and scratches on the trunk lid. see pics. Manager agreed to repair if i came back in 2 weeks for appointment. When I called for drop off time, other owner told me manager was gone, I had no appointment and that if I brought my car in it would only sit there. He never got back to me. Today started out shitty. I locked myself and my two little daughters out of the house this morning. My husband had to come back home from work to let us in, and just as I was backing out of my driveway to take my kids to camp I sideswiped our fence. This was the straw the broke the camels back for me after a pretty brutal year for our family. I got the number for this place from the super nice man at D&T that changes my oil and I went in expecting a huge bill to follow. Mario took one look at my car, brought it back into the shop and within 30 minutes handed me back my keys. I had done about $2000 worth of damage, but he and his amazing team reattached my fender and buffed out the scratches for me for a cost that I am not willing to disclose because I don't want them to be taken advantage of. I could take it in and get it 100% back to its original condition, but we don't have the money for that right now so this was just above and beyond anything I could have ever hoped for. I needed a reminder that there is good in the world, and I found it here today. It would have been SO easy for them to have just taken all of my money, but they didn't. They did what they could do to get me going again and then some.
