I'm from out of town and have been on the road for several weeks and needed a root touch-up and cut. I originally called the number on yelp and Google but reached the previous owner and stylist. Once I reached Jenn we made an appointment at her shop. She was very sweet and personable. She had another client and managed to work the both of us together. I showed her a couple of pics and we talked about what I was looking for she did a color and some foils and a great cut with lots of long layers. The highlights are just a little chunky for my taste but I'm not one to cry over my hair too much and I'm overall very happy with it. I've also received a couple of compliments. I would give 4.5 if an option only because it was difficult getting the correct phone number and making contact. Also, the Yelp deal advertised is not valid. I was in Cottonwood for a few days during a longer road trip through AZ and Utah. My hair was in desperate need of color. I was able to get in the same day and had Jenn as my colorist. I had been getting face framing highlights the last few times I had my color done and wanted a change. Jenn explained to me that those are becoming outdated anyway. She did a wonderful job on my color. She is extremely knowledgeable about the chemical make up of hair and how different colors can affect your hair as well as aging. I live part time in AZ & part time in Venice Beach, sometimes in a pinch I need to get my hair done in LA & usually wish I'd just waited it out, because it's always so much better when Stephanie does it. She's a top notch stylist & would be booked out no matter what city she was in, Cottonwood is lucky to have her. Well worth the drive from Sedona. Chelly does an amazing job at layering long thick hair. She doesn't make it a 2 hour ordeal and she's very efficient with her time.
