I love to frequent several shops in the area & always love to stop in here to browse, see whats new to learn. The parking lot here is the bomb. They have tons of shady parking right near the front entrance. I usually shop & toss stuff in my YETI cooler while fannying about, so shady parking is a big plus for moi. The store is quite small but the inventory is plentiful, service is excellent & I have never had to wait in line to check out. Bathrooms are always clean. Will Return :)

I also sold some books/media here and the process felt a bit unorganized, but I got a decent amount of cash for my items. Be prepared that it will take a few hours, even if you get there right at 10am, but you can leave and come back or stay and shop around. They also give both a cash option and a store credit option, with the store credit amount being slightly higher. Overall a nice feature in a great shop!

Definitely have everything a new collector might want but may not have the deep cuts a long-time collector (like me) would be looking to purchase. Prices - a tad high. But I expected that considering I'm in a metropolitan area. Their rent is probably super high, but I don't mind paying an extra $2-3 per book to keep an independent store open. Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast). A lot of the books I had have been out of print for 40 years, and I despaired of ever being able to replace them. I came across Donald H's review here on Yelp and was pleased to discover ZbookZ was only 5 minutes away. From the street the bookstore looks tiny (maybe 600 sq ft), but when I entered I discovered that there were several rooms stuffed to the rafters with used books! Had to be at least 2000 square feet! Jimmy greeted me like an old friend even though this was my first visit. He knows his stock, which is amazing because there had to be at least 20,000 books in the store. He took me directly to the books by the Author I was most anxious to replace (Donald Hamilton, who wrote westerns and spy novels from 1947 to 1989). He had 14 titles all in good to excellent condition and a 15th title missing the back cover and part of the front cover. Best of all, Jimmy was wiling to negotiate on the price, since some of these books were so old that the cover price was less than a dollar.

I figured this type of store would be heavy into Marvel and have some comics, but I didn't see any here. There are some cool art books but not a lot. Also, I did not see any playing cards for gaming. I did find some unique pins, stickers, and Misfits collectables that were really cool, so that's a plus. The store is not very big but there is a lot to see in here. Pricing is moderate to expensive. Some of the figures might cost you between $25-$100 depending on size. One of the pins that caught my eye was $10, which isn't out of the ordinary. We had a great conversation with the young man working the counter and he was very pleasant to deal with. If you're in the area and into modern toys and collectables , I highly recommend checking them out.
