Cute bookstore. It was happening. They had an event going on in the front, regular book browsers and a little cafe in the back where people were enjoying some food. We tried a charcuterie board, which had fresh veggies, crackers, and fruit with an average tin of tuna. My friends enjoyed it. They also had some mocktails that were well received on the table. Seemed to have a large selection of books. Price was not unreasonable. Felt this would be a nice local bookstore. The cafe service was friendly and explained everything well.
We really had a fun time here with our large group. It was a rainy afternoon so we stopped in here to have some drinks and charcuterie, and of course to play some board games. This is a fun book store with options to sit and relax playing games. They have quite a few options available for everyone of all ages. We really enjoyed our charcuterie board and coffee drinks...and of course the wine! Recommend for fun relaxing time!
This shop has been an incredible addition to downtown St Pete! I attended a 90s Trivia book launch event last month. It was a creative way to do an author event by having us play trivia and then participate in a book signing. The vegan charcuterie board was delicious. I really enjoyed the variety of options on the board. There are tons of cute items to purchase. We decided to try the mystery tarot card bookmarks, which did not disappoint. I look forward to coming to more events here!
While visiting Downtown St. Pete, my fiance surprised me with a reservation to The Book Lounge! I've never heard of them before our visit, and needless to say this is the perfect place for book lovers! The Book Lounge is a book store and lounge as the name suggests, having a great variety of books and bookish merchandise for purchase with a bar/ lounge inside. With our paid reservations, we were seated at a private table and were able to select a drink from the menu, specifically ones that were hearted on the menu provided on the table. Our reservation also included a couple light snacks, which were a cup of popcorn and pretzels for each of us. The non-alcoholic wine I chose was not available on the day of our visit, so they gladly switched it out with a mocktail for me. We were encouraged to browse the store or grab a board game from the selection they had to enjoy. I'd keep in mind that they only have light bites, so definitely eat before or afterwards if you need a full meal. We were hungry so opted to order a charcuterie board and tinned fish plate in addition to our light bites. Both were good, but I'd probably opt for something else as I did not feel that they were worth the price. I can't speak to the value of the reservation since my finance surprised me with it, and I'm sure this is a type of place you can walk in without a reservation. Overall, it's a fun and cute book shop so I would definitely come back to shop with them again!
I cannot say how much I love The Book Lounge. From the very beginning when I attended the grand opening because I was so excited for this local bookshop to open to all the times l've visited since. I feel this store is such a staple in the St Pete community. Walking through their doors feels like a warm, welcomed hug. The staff are so awesome and welcoming. The drink menu is abundant and yummy - l've tried a few of the matcha combinations and all have been AMAZING. They also serve small snacks as well as charcuterie options. There is plenty to do in the bookstore. They throw some of the coolest events: author visits and signings, board game nights, bedazzling books, and even a Taylor Swift x Emily Dickinson poetry month mashup (THAT was a blast!). They also have different book clubs such as thriller, dark romance, and fantasy. The thriller book club I attend is always inclusive and everyone gets a chance to share their thoughts and opinions on that months read. Now, the most important part: THE BOOKS. Don't you fret; the book selection is plentiful! Romance, fantasy, a whole back room section for thrillers and horror! Most anything you might be looking for can be found within this bookstore. They also have an abundance of "Blind Date With a Book" chock full of goodies included like pens, hair accessories, and stickers galore! I love, love, love this place and the fun people l've met because of it! If you're visiting, please make sure to check it out!
I had an amazing time with my girlies. When we checked out this bookstore. I even got to order things after leaving the town. They provided me with a link to buy my book bag with such an ease. The bag is so adorable. I cannot wait til it arrives. The reservation was made by one of my girlie's and the book shop provided a drink and some snacks. Even had some games picked out for us. I enjoyed the whole moment of being there. I felt right at home the entire time. I didnt even spend that much which was surprising. It was like 15 per person for the reservation. It was so reasonable.
This book shop has a super cute vibe and I love that it sticks to a theme. There is a decent amount of seating, as well as board games available to use there. They also offer snacks and drinks, which is a fun touch! The books are well organized into categories, though they pretty much stick to romance and fantasy genres. I love all of the decorations inside and I think it's a really cute place to shop around or sit and have a drink. I didn't purchase anything so I didn't really experience the service, and I'd say prices were pretty typical for a bookstore selling new books. Overall a nice place and it would be fun to hang out here!
I love everything about this place! If you are a book lover and just love honey spots to chill with a cup of coffee then this is your spot! They make syrups in house that are amazing in the lattes! Service is lovely and kind. Great prices and a huge selection of books to choose from. Love it and will be back!

What an absolute gem, amazing gorgeous decor, very victorian with a modern twist library cafe feel! Plenty of books to select from and they even have little fun knick snacks, games, and great gifts!! Great coffee to get cozy with and the charcuterie is chefs kiss! Decent amount of seating but it is popular so spots get taken but there is an extra small room in the back too. I adore this place and it's a must see for sure!
First off, this place is adorable! The scene has been set and the plot is building. I would live here if I could. We came after dinner so just drinks and dessert but they offer charcuterie boards and wine/champagne as well. The cappuccino and Latte were delicious , truly, I am a coffee girl through and through and the espresso was made beautifully. We are both on self-imposed book buying bans but that ban says nothing about bookish purchase and the selection was adorable. I got a book advent calendar and she got us tarot card bookmarks and a mystery bag. Adorable and both are totally worth it ! They had great candles I almost bought them all. The staff? Super friendly , everyone I talked to. Cost per book is pretty average but you get to support a beautifully catered local business, and to me, that's a steal.
This bookstore is adorable!! It has all of the "vibes". They are stocked with a lot of different genres. We loved the little accessories you could get and my daughter loves the "date with a book" idea! My grandson loved getting a nook and then sitting in the book pretending he was reading! We had just eaten or I would have tried the coffee bar! People were there and ready to help with whatever questions you may have. They even have a lot of games you can use and play while you are there! The prices were comparable! Definitely a cute place and worth visiting!
Went to the grand opening event. Love the decor. They have a great wine, coffee, and tea selection. The bookshelves covers the entire wall. Very comfortable couches. Excellent service. Reasonable prices.
Such a cute and cozy spot. Lots of book and book lover items throughout the store. The sections for books was well labeled. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly! People were inside browsing books, playing games, enjoys food and drinks, and having a great time. Definitely a spot worth checking out! read more

This a visually pleasing bookstore for maximalists. There are beverages available for purchase and ample seating. I did not buy any books however, you will pay sticker price. They highlight authors based on women's history month, hispanic heritage month, black history month etc. definitely worth stopping in. read more
I cannot get enough of this place. It is adorable and cozy. The staff are so ganging, helpful, and know how to do throw events. It is still undecided if it is a good or bad thing that this store is an hour away from me. It is bad I cannot go visit one love a week? Came back to try and read a book however the place gets packed and loud. Seating is hard to find but it's to be expected with how new and cute this place is. Got a vanilla matcha this time which was decent. Next time I'll try a coffee or might make a reservation for book club! read more
Stepping into the book lounge is stepping into the most cozy, magical place ever! The ambience here is unmatched for some reading, sharing a drink, browsing the books, or playing one of their large selection of games they have for you to play. The staff is helpful and nice as well. We stopped in for a glass of wine and had a great experience. Definitely want to come back and try their other drinks and charcuterie offerings. read more
What an amazing place! The Book Lounge in St. Pete feels like a refuge, a place apart from the outside world. Very nice book selection. It brings to mind a series of books that I read once where a special bookstore in Barcelona by the Spanish author Carlos Ruiz Zafron (The series begins with The Shadow of the Wind) played a central part of the story. The atmosphere, music, wall art and overall decor is spectacular. Comfy seating. Great staff. The wine and charcuterie selection is innovative; standard meats/cheese, very nice veggie selection, but we got an item from the Fishwife Experience selection of quality tinned seafood. We got the Smoked Rainbow Trout in Red Chimichuri sauce. Opened tin served with cornichon, olives, carrots, crackers and a small pepper made this a wonderful flavor and taste combination. A very nice Chehalem INOX Unoaked Chard to go with it. And a very tasty non-alcoholic lemon drink. Their NA and mocktail selection was very good. Excellent value for dollar spent! Go here for a nice book selection, and some great charcuterie and wine and to especially if you are in need of a little respite from the outside world. read more
Very cute book shop! Honestly most unique book store I've ever been in. Every genre available when some stores I've seen are only romance. I was excited to see Melissa K Roehrich in the Romantasy section because she's an indie author! My favorite indie romantasy author at that. I got the cutest sweatshirt, they had a few designs, among lots of other bookish merch. Also added a cute sticker to my kindle. It is a cafe with seating area as well. Sweatshirt was $35 and sticker was $3. Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

I am in love. I'd live in the book nook here if I could. This place has everything you could want in a romance bookstore. They also have some mystery and thrillers; so if you aren't into romance, there's still something available. Have a date with a book here. Drink some wine, enjoy the ambiance. You won't regret it. read more

Visited here today with our book club. Such a great field trip for us. The staff is super friendly, helpful and awesome. We had made a reservation-highly recommend. The pour was generous and they have a wonderful selection. Tons of books available to browse. A nice selection of gift items available. They have so many Blind Date with a Book packets too! This is such cute bookstore/lounge/coffee shop. It is quaint and cozy. The staff is friendly and it feels welcoming inside with the open seating and variety of board games to play. I ordered lavender vanilla tea, along with a small charcuterie board. It was delicious. Can't wait to go back again. read more

Really cute and cozy book shop with coffee, tea, and wine. I enjoyed checking out the books and bookish merchandise! My friends and I made a reservation and enjoyed our hour and a half of drinking coffee and mimosas, eating snacks, playing cards, and enjoying the atmosphere. There are tons of card and board games available to play, as well as plenty of books to purchase and read of course! read more

my best friend love this style of book and as part of her birthday day out i suggested we try to come and peek. Inside is GORGEOUS !! It's welcoming without a person working there checking in every few minutes.Very cozy and although we didn't sit, i would definitely make a reservation for a drink and charcuterie board but it was just enough for us to scan the styles of book. We ate down the street first then came here for shopping. Although not my style of bookstore they do have books for the non romance guy or gal which I can appreciate. Definitely a spot you wanna check at when in St Pete in addition i the other great local shops and eateries. read more
