But again, sauce should come on the side in my opinion. I have no real complaint against this place, but I wish I had known ahead of time that the ribs came with sauce on them and I wish that I had known that there were only four ribs on the plate, I would've ordered a whole rack. This time, I decided to try something different and ordered the smoked wings platter with white BBQ sauce, baked beans, and potato salad. Jalapeño Cornbread was added to each meal. Unfortunately, the smoked wings were a letdown. They had a fatty underdone texture that was unappealing. It was almost as if a step was missed in the cooking process. They were just too soft for my liking. Also, I'm not a fan of Jalapeño Cornbread. I prefer my Cornbread without the jalapeños, but I ate most it anyway. For some reason, the Jalapeño Cornbread had a dish soap taste to it. It was weird. On the positive side, the baked beans were flavorful with a nice kick, and the potato salad was just as good as I remembered. Is Edley's still our go-to BBQ spot? Absolutely!
