I have been coming here for many years now and continue to go as a member because it's a good value. The place is clean and neat, the hours are good unlike some chiropractic offices that are only open during my working hours, here they are open on nights and weekends to accommodate those of us that work through the week. Food is basic. This place is for "regulars" who've been going there for years. Not really something to go out of your way to enjoy. I got a burger and my friend got bbq chicken. When I say it's basic that's exactly what it is. I forgot I was in a bbq place because everything taste like it was from a can or no love was put into the food. Baileys has been around since before I was born. As long as I can remember, my family has gone to Baileys for BBQ. They have the best salad you'll ever eat. Homemade ranch is THE BEST EVER, and I'm a ranch-a-holic! Hamburger steak is great. Brunswick stew is the perfect lunch on a cold day. While in the Chattanooga Tenn area, a friend was asked where is there a good BBQ restaurant that he would recommend and with no hesitation, he told myself and my fellow travelers to try Bailey's, that he thought we would be pleased with the BBQ. First of all, I have to say that I have been told that there is not a BBQ restaurant that I will not try. The truth is that I have tried BBQ in Harrison Ohio, Nashville Tenn, Maui Hawaii, so in the spirit of enjoying good BBQ, the decision was made and I was excited trying another regions BBQ and sauce. I must first admit that Eastern NC vinegar sauce is my favorite, but I will experiment with other areas sauces on their BBQ. Now on to our experience at Bailey's BBQ. We arrived at the establishment at about 6:00PM on a Friday evening and the parking lot was full except for 1 space, which we promptly took. One of my friends stated , I think we have found a good restaurant because of the people already here. As we entered Bailey's we observed that all the tables were full except one and once again we immediately began to sweat ourselves when a server rushed over apologizing for not having the table already cleared. Another good sign, employees care about their customers, even as busy as they were. Our waitress was at the table almost as the table was cleared. I inquired of the table beside us what they would recommend and was told being it was Friday to try the ribs, Hmmm, I normally order BBQ but after hearing that one of my friends was ordering BBQ, I ordered the ribs and so did my other friend. When our meals were served, I found the ribs to be tender, moist meaty and smoked with a dry rub. (I would like to know what rub they use, because the flavor was outstanding) my fellow rib person also commented on how good the ribs were. Now to the KING of the meal, the BBQ. I asked my BBQ friend to allow me to sample his BBQ and found first of all that it was chopped course, not too fine, the smoke flavor was exceptional. In my personal opinion, if Bailey's BBQ was basted with Eastern NC style vinegar sauce, I would probably say it is the BEST BBQ I have had in years. My friends felt the same way as I did. As a side more, the corn bread served with the Brunswick stew is outstanding as well. I informed the owner and her daughter (who was our server) if I was within 75 miles of Rinegold Ga I would go out of my wAy to stop in and enjoy a meal with them. read more

Visited this BBQ joint while in the area on business. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of BBQ pork. Above average BBQ sauce with options for mild and hot. The Bake Beans are kind of a chili type version with hamburger meat mixed in with them. Very good Large hand made fries are one of the side options. Meatloaf looked like it might be good watching others. Might try that next time. Breakfast was on menu if here in the mornings and expect it would be great Only issue is service. Definitely worth the 2-mile trek from 75. Went with my mom on the drive from Florida to Ohio. We both had the BBQ pork plate, which was huge. Definitely should have gotten the child's plate for late lunch. We each had, pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw, and potato salad. We also tried the Brunswick stew, which is like a vegetable stew, but with BBQ meats (pork and chicken and beef). It was incredibly flavorful and full of veggies. (Corn, peas, Limas, okra, tomato) The pulled pork was very tasty - smoky and the sauce came in mild and hot. The potato salad is mustard-y and very good (homemade, of course). The cole slaw was mayo based, but not sweet and drippy, definitely also homemade. The baked beans were the best I've ever had in my life. They were smoky and sweet and savory - I could eat them every day! You also get 2 rolls; just yeasty rolls with the plate. Definitely worth the off-highway trek! Don't stop at fast food, this place is delicious! P.s. - mon-fri they have $6.50 and $7 lunch plates. Even in Saturday, our huge plates were $9.99. The Brunswick stew is $2.79 a cup. I'm nitpicking but they throw lima beans in their brunswick stew. That's anti " merican". Shoot if you're looking for filler why not add brussel sprouts and rutabagas. The Dining Divas went to lunch at Bailey's Bar-b-que in Ringgold Georgia on Wednesday September 11th. There were 14 of us. Our server, Pat, did an excellent job. It is not easy for one server to take care of 14 customers at one time, but she made it look effortless. We were truly amazed by her service. The food was prepared with great care. The recipes are family favorites and prepared fresh. The BBQ is to die for. It is cooked on the property to perfection. The portions are huge and most had to take part home. The owner, Jane, came to our table to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Even the cook, Scott, which is the owners son, came to our table to see if his cooking was enjoyable. Our native British Diva said it was "bloody good ", which means it was as good as it gets. Bailey's is a family oriented restaurant with a homey, you belong here atmosphere. Most of the customers knew each other and there were cheerful conversations and a lot of laughter. When we left, it felt as if we had been to an old friends home for dinner. Bailey's is a true hidden gem and we encourage you to go and enjoy it for yourself. You will not be disappointed and we will be going back! Best bbq we've found in the area! The location is unassuming but just a few minutes off I-75 and an easy drive from Chattanooga. Down home ambiance and attentive & friendly service. The bbq pork & beef are really, really good - flavorful, tender, delicious on their own before adding any sauce. The baked beans are the best I've ever had, with a great smokey flavor & hearty chunks of meat to add to the flavor. The portions are generous, and my wife and I now order the kids plates - still plenty of food for a grown up & the waitress said lot of adults get them. Baked beans are extremely good, very different than most people serve but excellent in my opinion. Slaw is very bland, add to bbq or salt and pepper a whole bunch, or add hot sauce to it to help. Fries are good and the rolls are good with butter.
