They have outdoor dining where dogs are allowed as well as indoor dining with a bar. As of May 2026 when we went, the menu online was not the menu we received when we dined in, so I attached a photo but keep in mind it can change. The service here was great, it was out waitress Brooke's first night and she was wonderful. The manager and staff overall were fantastic and the food came out at a good pace, not too long or short a wait. For starters we ordered the grilled peach burrata salad, elk and bison chili, crispy brussel sprouts and chicken wings with huckleberry bbq sauce. Each of these were very tasty and we would eat them all again. I would argue the appetizers were better than the entrees. The wings were slightly under par compared to the other dishes, but that is just because they needed more huckleberry flavor (very light). For entrees we ordered the pan seared trout and the grilled ribeye. Both were massive portions, the trout came with wild rice and asparagus, the steak came with goat cheese mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The trout was served as two big filets (found a few small bones, but no big deal) and was cooked well, but one filet needed more seasoning and was a little fishy tasting. The rice was a bit boring and dry, but the asparagus were superb. The ribeye was cooked nicely and tasted even better with the chipotle lime butter it came with. The mashed potatoes were great and did taste of goat cheese and the brussel sprouts were delicious, very similar to the appetizer preparation. Similar to the trout, the portion of steak was large, but a good portion of it was gristle and fat (about 30-40%). Overall a nice meal with huge serving sizes. Had we known how big the entrees would be, we may have shared one or ordered less appetizers. Great service with a pleasant ambiance.

They were extremely gracious in accommodating my vegan boyfriend. They grilled some vegetables in olive oil for him and served them with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. This place is a find! If you are passing through this area, where there is little from which to choose, the Painted Pony Grill is a winner. The building has rustic charm, but it is very clean inside. They also serve ice cream cones.

The bartender, who turned out to be one of the owners, Jan greeted us. She told us they did not serve food, but...if we wanted to call in an order to the restaurant across the street, 511 Main, they would give us a 10% discount AND deliver to us at the bar. Sweet! She provided us with a menu and we called in our order and had a couple of beers while we waited for our food to be delivered. Once the waitress from the restaurant showed up with our order, Jan offered to pay our bill in cash and she would just add it to our tab, simplifying the whole transaction for everyone involved. We GREATLY appreciated this since we were paying with a card. During our time in the Imperial we chatted with Jan and some of her other patrons as well as got to get to know her two adorable pups, Belle and Reo (as in Speedwagon). We are SO GLAD we stumbled upon this place and hope to be back again one day.

Inside they have the typical dive bar things in Idaho like pool tables and casino games. It's a smoking bar and a lot of people smoke openly here so if you don't like the smell of smoke chances are that you won't like it here. They have good prices for drinks including $3 wells, $8 pitchers, $2.50 cans, $2.75 bottles, and $7.50 pizzas per their fridge. This felt like an older person's crowd compared to another place that I frequented in Saint Anthony, but overall it was an okay place.

All on the 2nd floor. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. You can tell thought was put into all the extras. Everything has been updated and tastefully decorated for the branding of the Inn. We enjoyed breakfast in our room. It was perfect and then we were on the road. It was a great stay. Thank you for being so accommodating. We will be sure to stay here again next time we are passing through.

There are only a few bars in Saint Anthony so I didn't have too many options but I'm glad I stumbled upon this place! It's your typical dive bar with pool tables (50 cents a game), darts, and TVs for sports. Their wells are $3 which is always a great price and they also have happy hour from 5-7pm which is 50 cents off wells. My bartender Abby was also amazing! We had some great conversations and we realized we were both huge true crime fans and were talking about a particular active case local to Saint Anthony/Rexburg (Mommy Doomsday anyone?). The locals at the bar were very welcoming to out-of-towners which is always a good feeling, and you have great conversations with random strangers which make for the best memories. This is a fun place!
