When we walked in we were in Awe, log cabin interior was beautiful what u want to see in the Idaho mountains, the atmosphere and window view(of Henry Fork River & mountains was to die for. Service/Server was great, very friendly and prompt. We ordered elk burger and the Brie burger with fig caramelized onions and hands down the best burgers we ever had. Really nice ambiance, like an upscale cabin, overlooking the river where you can see people fly fishing. The restaurant is on a gravel lane off the main road and is nice to walk around. They have outdoor dining where dogs are allowed as well as indoor dining with a bar. As of May 2026 when we went, the menu online was not the menu we received when we dined in, so I attached a photo but keep in mind it can change. The service here was great, it was out waitress Brooke's first night and she was wonderful. The manager and staff overall were fantastic and the food came out at a good pace, not too long or short a wait. For starters we ordered the grilled peach burrata salad, elk and bison chili, crispy brussel sprouts and chicken wings with huckleberry bbq sauce. Each of these were very tasty and we would eat them all again. I would argue the appetizers were better than the entrees. The wings were slightly under par compared to the other dishes, but that is just because they needed more huckleberry flavor (very light). For entrees we ordered the pan seared trout and the grilled ribeye. Both were massive portions, the trout came with wild rice and asparagus, the steak came with goat cheese mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The trout was served as two big filets (found a few small bones, but no big deal) and was cooked well, but one filet needed more seasoning and was a little fishy tasting. The rice was a bit boring and dry, but the asparagus were superb. The ribeye was cooked nicely and tasted even better with the chipotle lime butter it came with. The mashed potatoes were great and did taste of goat cheese and the brussel sprouts were delicious, very similar to the appetizer preparation. Similar to the trout, the portion of steak was large, but a good portion of it was gristle and fat (about 30-40%). Overall a nice meal with huge serving sizes. Had we known how big the entrees would be, we may have shared one or ordered less appetizers. Great service with a pleasant ambiance. read more

We came to eat at the restaurant a year ago and it was wonderful. We came back again for my mama's birthday Saturday night and it was incredible. They have really good drinks with a variety of interesting original cocktails as well as some good classics. Their entrees are large and impeccable. We got appetizers and a dessert on top of our entrees which were wonderful as well. Our server was awesome and so sweet (I totally forgot her name, my apologies) and the bartender was super quick. The location is gorgeous and the restaurant has huge windows so that even on a cold evening you have a view of the river sitting inside. read more

My family came in as a party of 7 and a dog and got a table with a beautiful view next to Henry's Fork. The service was slow but the restaurant was busy even for 8 pm on a Sunday evening. My husband and I ate here tonight for our Anniversary!! It was Romantic to have a view of the South Fork of the Henry. We had the Ribeye Steak over mashed potatoes. Very flavorful and tender, cooked to perfection how we like it. We did start with the bacon wrapped elk sliders for an appetizer with a really good sauce. It made for an enjoyable night. Maddy was our server and was very attentive and helpful in our choices. A great personality and wanted us to enjoy our anniversary. Gave us a brownie with ice cream to share for dessert. Tldr - Delicious food, seems popular with the locals and not just tourists, and friendly staff. Reasonably priced with easy parking. Great view of the river from the dining room. Decided to stop in on a whim as we were not feeling all the touristy dinner spots in West Yellowstone. It was a weekday and we arrived an hour before closing without a reservation... it was packed, but a few tables looked open. However, they told us they weren't sure if we'd get a table since there were other parties waiting. We decided to take a flier and wait anyway since it was late. 20 minutes later, we were seated. Our server was very chipper and friendly, gave recommendations, and was proactive about letting us know what they'd run out of. (In my opinion, a place that runs out of some ingredients is a signal that they serve things fresh or not at all, a green flag.) My partner and I each got a variety of the chicken sandwich, while our friends shared the steak. Portions were large, chicken and steak was cooked appropriately, and the fries were some of the best any of us have ever had. All in all, we were glad we decided to forego the tourist traps closer to the park entrance. Anglers Riverfront was wonderful. We were even lucky enough to glimpse the sunset across the river while we ate, and we left happy with full bellies just before they closed up for the night. My husband and I ate at the Angler's Riverfront last night. The restaurant/lodge sits right on the river and there is riverside dining available. I had the locally caught trout which was perfectly prepared - delicious. My husband had the onion rings and pork nachos which he said were very good. We also shared a piece of cheese cake with fruit compote. It was absolutely delicious with a touch of honey and orange rind shavings. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The head chef even stopped by our table to make sure we were happy with our dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Island Park area. read more

Nice views of Henry Fork River from the windows and we sat inside to avoid sun and bugs. Ordered: 1) snake River Wagyu burger - this was surprisingly good according to husband 2) fish and fries - decent 3) Buffalo chicken wings - decent 4) side of wild rice $7 - expensive Cozy cabin feel inside, clean restrooms and friendly 1-person wait staff. read more

We loved this restaurant. Great food but be aware of small portions. I was impressed with the burger it was a great size for me. The smoked salmon appetizer was good. Probably would order something else next time. My partner got the tuna sashimi dish. He was very hungry and this was kinda small but he liked it. Above all we received outstanding service from the gentlemen with a nice big white smile! He catered to my GF allergy beautifully. I loved the atmosphere here it was very nice. We will come back another time cause the patio area was breath taking and it really felt like we were on a nice vacation even though we weren't far from home. This is a small restaurant - right on the highway leaving from Yellowstone. It's nestled next to the river, and is connected to the Anglers Lodge. It has a beautiful view of the river. The staff, namely Polly, was friendly, and provided insight about the food, as well as the chef. Collectively we got the Anglers Burger, Chicken Parmesan, and the Ribeye. He makes all the sauces himself, and the burger is one of his signature dishes. The red sauce on the chicken parm, and the demi-glaze on the ribeye are worth noting. It's also worth noting that we ordered 2 cocktails, and we were told that the bartender uses fresh herbs and makes a lot of her own mixes as well. After a long day of traveling, this was a delicious, fairly priced, treat. Highly recommend. read more

We loved the location on the water, even though we arrived on a rainy day and couldn't sit on the deck, the views were beautiful. Cocktails were good- I liked the spicy tequila jalapeño drink and my husband enjoyed the huckleberry old fashioned. There weren't a lot of vegetarian options (as expected in the area, not a big deal) but the mushroom pasta was incredibly delicious and perfectly cooked, and was generously sized, it could easily serve two people. Our server was kind but a little distracted as she had other tables to wait on, which resulted in some crossed wires for our party of 8's orders and checks, but no harm done as we weren't in a hurry and she was so kind about it. The Bison Ribs were cooked to perfection every time (our fave) and the mushroom penne?... wow!! I added some shrimp to mine and it was great! The mushrooms are shredded???
