My partner really enjoyed the salmon and mashed potatoes, too. To drink, I had this Naked Bird cocktail with mezcal that blew me away. Plus, our waitress was really nice. The space was filled with friendly fisherman when we arrived, but it emptied out quick. Pro tip: Cell service is not great, so if you don't get a text that your table is ready, just check in with the host. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I would say though that bison meat is on the drier side, so the veggies on the side of the plate and my drink (just water lol) were quite useful. The onion rings I got were crispy as well. The restaurant is nicely decorated with taxidermied animals such as moose and a bison head. If it hadn't rained we could have potentially sat outside where the outdoor seating is riverside. The waiter also checked in every now and then making the service great. The Jalapeño Chicken Sandwich I took a few bites out of. It was also great and I liked that the jalapeños were fresh not pickled.

Decided to stop in on a whim as we were not feeling all the touristy dinner spots in West Yellowstone. It was a weekday and we arrived an hour before closing without a reservation... it was packed, but a few tables looked open. However, they told us they weren't sure if we'd get a table since there were other parties waiting. We decided to take a flier and wait anyway since it was late. 20 minutes later, we were seated. Our server was very chipper and friendly, gave recommendations, and was proactive about letting us know what they'd run out of. (In my opinion, a place that runs out of some ingredients is a signal that they serve things fresh or not at all, a green flag.) My partner and I each got a variety of the chicken sandwich, while our friends shared the steak. Portions were large, chicken and steak was cooked appropriately, and the fries were some of the best any of us have ever had. All in all, we were glad we decided to forego the tourist traps closer to the park entrance. Anglers Riverfront was wonderful. We were even lucky enough to glimpse the sunset across the river while we ate, and we left happy with full bellies just before they closed up for the night. Would definitely stop by again next time we find ourselves in Island Park. Thanks so much for the hospitality, Anglers team.

They have outdoor dining where dogs are allowed as well as indoor dining with a bar. As of May 2026 when we went, the menu online was not the menu we received when we dined in, so I attached a photo but keep in mind it can change. The service here was great, it was out waitress Brooke's first night and she was wonderful. The manager and staff overall were fantastic and the food came out at a good pace, not too long or short a wait. For starters we ordered the grilled peach burrata salad, elk and bison chili, crispy brussel sprouts and chicken wings with huckleberry bbq sauce. Each of these were very tasty and we would eat them all again. I would argue the appetizers were better than the entrees. The wings were slightly under par compared to the other dishes, but that is just because they needed more huckleberry flavor (very light). For entrees we ordered the pan seared trout and the grilled ribeye. Both were massive portions, the trout came with wild rice and asparagus, the steak came with goat cheese mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The trout was served as two big filets (found a few small bones, but no big deal) and was cooked well, but one filet needed more seasoning and was a little fishy tasting. The rice was a bit boring and dry, but the asparagus were superb. The ribeye was cooked nicely and tasted even better with the chipotle lime butter it came with. The mashed potatoes were great and did taste of goat cheese and the brussel sprouts were delicious, very similar to the appetizer preparation. Similar to the trout, the portion of steak was large, but a good portion of it was gristle and fat (about 30-40%). Overall a nice meal with huge serving sizes. Had we known how big the entrees would be, we may have shared one or ordered less appetizers. Great service with a pleasant ambiance.

It makes me wonder if the other customers went to the same Denny's I did or if they're all being hyperbolic or bombastic or expecting way too much for a diner or a Denny's (makes me also wonder why people who dislike Denny's are going there then reviewing they hated their visit *rolling my eyes here*). My first visit was a few days after it opened at 6:00 PM (dinnertime). It was crowded and there was a long wait, but both of those things were expected: almost every new restaurant has this happen: we don't get a lot of variety in restaurants (not like Idaho Falls), so everyone wants to go when it first opens. I was with a group of 11 people. We were served as quickly as one can be when it's that busy. The food was hot and tasted great. The staff was frazzled and made mistakes, but again, that's expected. My next visit was about a month or two later at 8:30 PM. I'd had a long day and didn't feel like eating the warmed-over meal at home, so I told my family I was going out. Since I was a single guest, I was invited to sit at the counter. I love the idea of the electric plugs at each of the seats: online homework late at night while eating pancakes = genius! There was the typical wait time (about 15 minutes--I had a nice time people-watching in the meantime). I ordered the brisket sandwich and asked for a side salad since it was advertised as 2.99 with an entree. The salad was crisp and the ranch dressing was tasty. The brisket sandwich was a little lopsided so I had to eat it in pieces, but it was delish! I was overcharged for the salad, but the manager just took it off the ticket. Nice. My third visit was at the end of July 2023. It was during their Baconalia event. I was in the mood for pancakes for dinner (this time at 5 PM--I was expecting a rush but they handled me and all the other customers beautifully), so I was pleasantly surprised to find out I could have "Bacon Pancakes" just like Jake from Adventure Time. The addition of bacon bits and two slices of Hormel bacon in the pancakes gave it a smokey taste that is easily complemented by the maple syrup and skips a step for me (I often take a bite of bacon and then immediately follow it with a pancake). My food arrived quickly, hot, and tasted good. My fourth visit was on 08/14/23 at 8:30 AM (breakfast). During this visit, I was taking my 2 nieces and my nephew to breakfast before I took them home after a visit with grandma before school. Other reviewers must be using stopwatches or no watches at all because they all seem to say they waited an hour to be seated. We were seated faster than I've ever been seated in a Denny's (including my two previous visits). When the server arrived, I requested that she take the order from each of us since my nieces and nephew needed to practice ordering for themselves (they are tweens and a teen, so they needed this experience sooner rather than later). We had come during Denny's Baconaila event, so each of us ordered from the special menu. I ordered the Premium Bacon Loaded Pancakes like I did last time, my tween niece and nephew ordered the Triple Bacon Sampler, and my teenage niece ordered the Sweet and Smoky BLT&E (a BLT that comes topped with eggs, bacon jam, and the Hormel Black Label Premium Cherrywood Bacon). While we waited, we watched as 5 other parties arrived and were almost immediately seated (again, I'm confused why other reviewers are saying they're waiting an hour...I've never had nor seen that happen). The only person not seated turned out to be waiting to pick up his meal. The pancakes arrived in about 15 minutes as a sort of appetizer/first course and the rest of the food arrived before we could even get two bites done. We enjoyed our meal and conversation. My teenage niece tried a bite of my pancake and immediately wanted to order a stack for herself ("So yummy!"), but I knew she'd get too full. Luckily, my tween niece offered to share half of her pancakes instead. Whoever put together the hamburger forgot the bacon jam, but I decided to use this as an opportunity for my niece to learn how to politely and properly tell the server (she was nervous and didn't want to bother her, but I stressed to her that servers/restaurants want to correct any errors they make because they want their guests to have the best possible experience). I worried that this special menu would go the way of the spicy Moons over My Hammy (loved it btw), so I ordered a What's Shakin' Bacon Milk Shake which we all split. This wasn't as mind-blowing as I thought it would be (it was exactly what it says it is: vanilla ice cream, bacon crumbs, and maple syrup), but it was still tasty. We left at 9:30 AM (they were slow-eaters), full, happy, and singing the "Bacon Pancakes" song once we got in the car. It was a fun, before-school-starts experience, and they want to do it again.

I ordered a salad and I know what you're thinking, who orders a salad at Denny's. But most of the lettuce was brown and my cucumbers soggy. We ordered the Oreo brownie for dessert and it tasted like a protein brownie. Not a compliment. But what am I gonna do, eat at Applebee's? Yeah right. Oh and the sign is spelt wrong.

Interior was very cute country diner aesthetic, exactly what you'd be looking for. Our party ordered the choriqueso, Philly cheese steaks, and the Idaho potato bowl. The cheesesteaks were a good size but somewhat dry; the bread and meat were too dry, and not enough cheese. The potato bowl was good, and the choriqueso was mostly chorizo and guacamole with some nice habanero salsa. Overall, would recommend getting here early so you can get breakfast.
