Vance removed our old fridge and installed the new one. He was very nice and told me how to clear the water line for ice and water dispensers. However, he rushed us through quickly. I asked for 5 minutes to clean the footprint area but only got 3 minutes. I asked Vance about leveling the new fridge. He didn't have a level and balked at leveling it. Instead he told me that when he jiggled the top center and it didn't wobble much that the weight of food and drink we put in it would make the fridge not wobble. I told him I bought the 4 year warranty and could get someone in to level it if I had a problem downline. I hope we don't have any problems. read more

Natalie was rude right out of the gate and a bit pushy. I would have never gone here if it wasn't for the fact my family has given them a lot of business and never had trouble. Maybe this location is the problem, I am not 100% sure. The delivery service provider is not professional at all either and I had a really hard time communicating with them. To make a long story short, I made a mistake on requirements and had to refuse delivery, I take accountability, but I do not appreciate pushback, rudeness and the amount of time it took to get a refund. I finally called Amex to make the dispute after I was told I would get an email EOD Monday and it never came . Amex got on the dispute and minutes later I received an email, seems super odd to me. He forgot about the first install date which I stayed home for, then there was an issue on the second attempt where the hose wasn't long enough for the dishwasher to get to the sink which the installation delivery person let me know should have been addressed over the phone with a few questions about where the sink was located in reference to the dishwasher. The installers when they got the right part on the third attempt got the job done quickly. Within three hours after they left one of the pipes that they played with was leaking water into the cabinetry. Thank goodness I have a tray underneath my sink to catch these things before they destroy the cabinets. I can praise their price matching, but the overall experience and the lack of understanding about missing work about 5 hours total can impact his customer. Brian also said that he would check with two installers that live in my area to see if they could hit my place on the way home on the second installment attempt. No call from him that day, only from the installer who said that he would come in the am independent on what Brian said that he would check into and get back to me on. What bothers me about my interaction with Brian is that I can understand one mistake. When you compound not adding an appt to the schedule with coming out without the right part, getting crappy with me on the phone when I am telling him that this is costing me money, not following up when he said he would, not giving a receipt and the new plumbing leaking... I will definitely have to think twice before ever coming back to Spencer's after this. In a side note I still do not have a receipt from my purchase at Spencer's. read more

Edwin @ Mesa store was a great salesperson. He gave us space to browse and talk thru our purchases. Value was probably average. Delivery and install seemed steep so I hope Spencer's pays its teams a fair wage. We planned to gift our old range to a friend but the door was damaged when it was being taken out so a scrapper wound up with it instead. One of the new appliances was out of stock but I wasn't told until first delivery/install was happening so remember to ask if everything delivered and installed at the same time. This place is located on the corner of 1st Ave and Macdonald in Mesa. There is a decent sized parking lot. It is bigger than some of the other Spencer's that I have been to. When you walk in they have the normal appliances including some water softener equipment. If you go towards the back and slightly to the right, there is a Clearance Section in the back room. There is a bunch of things (see photos). Supposedly they are dented and scratched. I got a microwave in this section at a huge discount (see photo). It actually is not dented or scratched. Apparently the guy who bought it just decided he didn't want it. Great deal. The guys at the front desk were friendly and helpful. read more

For many years, we have used this location for all of our appliances. We always felt loyal until now. My salesman Edwyn was exactly that just a salesman. We ordered two refrigerators one for our home one for a rental. The first refrigerator delivered to our home did not cool. We reached out to Customer Service and they sent someone to make sure the refrigerator was not on demo mode. It was not. I reached out to our salesman the following day and was told he would get right back with me with the delivery time for a new refrigerator. Seven hours later I had to follow up. Customer Service has gone so far downhill at this location. When I did get a hold of him at 7:00 pm there was someone in the background speaking over our conversation telling him he needed to hurry up because he had a customer waiting who had an appointment. Obviously, just their way of helping him get off the phone . It's really sad. We'll never do business here again. read more

About 4 yrs ago, I was looking at buying a new refrigerator at Spencer's. The Bosch rep was there at the time. I told him that I really needed an icemaker that produced alot of Ice. He directed me to one of their models an I went ahead an bought it for 3k. Looking back I definitely should have done my homework. The refrigerator was of course a "Smart appliance". Which had difficulties with our wi -fi connection. But no big deal,we were told by Bosch customer service that refrigerator didn't need to be on line. The refrigerator works well a side by side. But the icemaker is a piece of dung to put it mildly. We have had it replaced an serviced a couple of times. Within the last couple of yrs decided to purchase a separate icemaker. Full disclosure, I ordered online and not from this specific location, but you can't leave a review of the general company, so I've decided to leave one for the location closest to me. I had a new fridge delivered in early August. Upon delivery, the driver told me there was cosmetic damage to one of the doors; I could refuse the delivery, or accept it and they'd order a door and install it for free. It would take 6-8 weeks. I have a toddler. I couldn't not have a fridge, so I chose to get a replacement door. Not a single person from the company ever called me. Every time I'd call, I'd be given some BS about how they'd have a member of their service department call me back. Never got a single call back. About 4 months after receiving my damaged fridge, on yet another attempt of me calling them, an employee had the nerve to tell me I should call the company they order their replacement parts from, because it isn't her problem. So I called that company and gave them the work order number that I had been told was associated with my replacement door. This is how I discovered that a replacement was never ordered. That company told me I should call Manny and have him email Andy. Because apparently that's on me. Called Spencers back, explained that I knew they never bothered to order a replacement, they promised me that there was an oversight and they'd order it right then. Weeks pass. Not a single call again. So I contact the Better Business Bureau. Weirdly enough, the day after I contact the BBB, they call me and a door magically appeared, they can install it that week. Which brings us to today. They came and replaced my door, nearly 5 months after accepting delivery...with yet another damaged door. Mind bogglingly terrible. read more

We walked in, we're immediately approached, I told the salesman what we needed, we showed all the dishwashers with pros/cons, and we a decision quickly. We were in and out in 20 minutes, seriously, 20 minutes. With a new dishwasher, warranty plan, delivery/removal date, and paid. Jake came within the time frame, was polite, gave us advice on an issue with a baseboard, cleaned up, and out within an hour! Spencers used to be a place that I could trust my parents used to get their appliances. I got my oven from there and I've had nothing but problems with it. I ordered their extended warranty and all I got were people that came out and gave me reasons for why they weren't gonna fix something. I knew that the element was going bad. It wasn't acting properly for the last couple years now it's out of warranty and it's $220 out-of-pocket to fix this element I explained to them that it wasn't working properly that it wouldn't go low, medium and high. It just stayed on high no matter what position it was in and they just told me there was nothing wrong with it now it's shot. I can't trust this Warranty so I can't buy things from here again. read more
