I purchased a Tempur-Pedic ProBreeze mattress from Cody for $2,106.96 and was told they would hold it until I could pick it up. Unfortunately, due to several unforeseen circumstances, including the death of my father, I was unable to pick it up as quickly as I had planned. Although I acknowledge the delay in picking up the mattress, at no point did anyone from the store contact me to ask me to pick it up or advise me that they would no longer hold it. Had they done so, I would have made arrangements immediately. Instead, I was left with the understanding that they were honoring our original agreement. On May 26, 2026, I called and left a voicemail letting them know I was finally ready to pick up my mattress. I never received a return call and had to make several additional calls before Cody finally contacted me on June 14. At that point, he informed me that the mattress I had purchased had been sold to another customer. He assured me he would work with me to replace the mattress I had purchased and promised to get back to me. Unfortunately, that pattern repeated itself for weeks. I had to continually follow up because promised return calls never came, and each conversation ended with another explanation and another promise that he was still trying to locate a replacement. On July 7, Cody told me he had found the mattress but that it was missing the original outer cover. He said a replacement cover had been ordered, that he would check on its status, and that he would get right back to me. He never did. On July 8, I went to the store in person hoping to finally resolve the situation. Cody was not there, but his wife told me they still had the mattress and had been unable to obtain a replacement cover because it had been out of stock the entire time. This directly conflicted with the explanations I had previously been given. At that point, I told her I simply wanted a refund since they could not provide the mattress as purchased. I even offered to accept a refund minus a reasonable restocking fee because I recognized that my delayed pickup had created an inconvenience. She said only Cody could make that decision and asked for more time. I explained that this matter had already been dragging on for weeks and requested a decision by the end of the next business day. I also informed her that, if necessary, I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. Ironically, this was the first time Cody called me back promptly. Rather than offering a resolution, he became confrontational and told me he was finished working with me. He said I could dispute the charge if I wanted because, in his opinion, I was not entitled to either the mattress or any refund since I had waited too long to pick it up. I understand that my delayed pickup created an inconvenience, and I was willing to be reasonable by accepting a refund reduced by an appropriate restocking fee. However, I do not believe it is reasonable to sell the mattress I had already paid for without ever notifying me, then refuse to provide either the product or a refund. After paying $2,106.96, I should not lose both the mattress and the money I paid. My disappointment is not simply about the delayed pickup. It is about the lack of communication, the fact that no one ever contacted me to request that I pick up the mattress or warn me that it would no longer be held, the repeated broken promises, the inconsistent explanations, and ultimately being told that neither the product nor a refund would be provided. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend doing business with this company. read more

Because of the high reviews, we came in this weekend to see what they had. Having just come from another mattress store, this place has a sketchy feel to it but that wasn't a deal killer. There are stacks of mattresses and some have been cut open which made me a little uncomfortable. The person who helped us did not listen when we explained what we were looking for, they repeated themselves multiple times and after I heard them make a racist comment to another customer, we were done. read more

Found this place on Yelp but it was a little sketchy. Other than the great reviews, I had a hard time finding the appeal. Not too much in selection when I was there and the prices seemed to match what other furniture stores sales prices were. The owner kept getting calls from his wife on his cell phone and disappeared to the back a couple times. There was no follow up and the owner never got my contact information. I ultimately purchased from Macy's home at the mall because the service was great and it just seemed to be a much more professional and reliable company. read more

I had a great experience with Mattress Warehouse. The mattress I had was 10+ years old and I had just begun my research for a replacement. I came across the store by accident one afternoon, and decided to take a look inside. I was amiably greeted by Cody upon entry and he walked me through the store. I informed Cody that I had looked online a little, but really needed to touch and feel. Cody briefly informed me of the various mattress types they carry and then left my girlfriend and I to move around from bed to bed. I was in town for Thanksgiving and my sister had no idea how bad her guest bed was. When I got up in the morning I announced I was going to buy a new mattress. She has a regular twin daybed. I didn't realize it, but finding a quality twin mattress on a day's notice is a bit like finding a unicorn. I went to 3 stores with no luck.I found the Tempurpedic I wanted, but each store told me it would take a week for delivery. As I would be leaving in less than a week it didn't match my timeline. I went home and found Mattress Warehouse on Yelp. I called and explained my problem. Cody originally said he couldn't help me either, but after I hung up he went to work. He called back later that evening (I hadn't even given my phone number, he had to get it from call history) to say that he had located a twin Tempurpedic and he thought it was a firm. I need a medium and I let him know I was willing to wait. He said he would send a guy to the warehouse and confirm the firmness. He called to say it was the medium. I was a bit skeptical, but decided it was certainly better than what I was sleeping on. Cody is a man of his word and had the medium Tempurpedic delivered the same day and for A LOT LESS than the other mattress stores had quoted me.
