My wife and I absolutely love and cherish the Saag Paneer and Daal Makhani here! The Saag Paneer is to die for! Absolutely delicious!

We came on Saturday at lunch time. They were pretty insistent on us having the buffet, but after taking a look at it (not a ton of choices, frankly a little sad) we decided to order a la carte. We ordered some apps (pani puri, pao bhaji, etc.) Everything was under seasoned. I ordered the onion uttapam and it came out undercooked. When I asked for another, the server just recommended I get the dosa instead of trying the uttapam again. The service was quite slow, concerning since it was just our party of four in the restaurant for a while. I wouldn't go here again. read more

Such a worse experience I had at this restaurant. Staffs are really unprofessional. We were misled by them while placing the order. We ordered zafrqni murg biriyani but they couldn't get us that even after keeping us waited for around one hour. Upon being seated, our table was completely missing flatware. They also had forgotten to give us one of our orders which was extremely disappointing. The food was absolutely insipid. In my opinion, visiting this restaurant is just pouring money down the drain. HURRAY!! It's about time I find the go-to Indian restaurant in the area. I have moved to Norwalk a little over an year ago and is not impressed with Indian cuisine around the area. None of them sold authentic and freshly cooked food. This new place brought it all in together. This is my first time here and I was impressed with its decor and ambience. For starters, we ordered tandoori wings, chili chicken and momos. The food is perfectly cooked and the portion sizes are very generous. It not just served 4 of us, but we also happened to take home. The taste and sauce it was cooked in was perfect. For biryani, we ordered one chicken 65 biryani and a goat biryani. Both of the them were spiced correct and cooked to perfection. We often passed this restaurant whenever we were running errands on this part of Fairfield. We had been hesitant to try them, due in part to the lack of patronage from the looks of the unusually empty parking lot. Well, we finally decided to take the risk this evening for a little birthday celebration. We were the first diners for the evening. The Staff was very welcoming and friendly. The interior was very clean, neatly decorated with a warm ambience. We were immediately taken by the delicious scent emanating from the kitchen. Being extremely hungry, made choosing from the menu even harder! My son ordered the goat bhuna, my daughter chicken the tikka masala and I went for the lamb korma. We ordered 2 serving of naan, the butter and the Parmesan garlic. Food arrived within 10 minutes and everything was delicious to say the least! We will be coming back for sure! read more

Amazing food!! I went in for lunch with my boyfriend and we ordered the masala dosa, chicken korma, butter naan, and a chai. Very nice setting - mostly carried over from the predecessor. Service was very good. Food was really great! We eat Asian food often, particularly SE Asian. And we enjoy spicy food too. Wow - we went with "medium" spice which was perfect for us. If you want to turn up the heat, this is the place to do it. Goat curry was delicious- could live on the sauce. Lamb biryani was great. Excellent new Indian restaurant on Route 1. I opted to sit outside with my dog and enjoy a saag dish, chai, and raita. I love how their spinach was very green and perfectly spiced, not oily like some places. Staff and the owner were very friendly and accommodating. Will be back soon! read more

Hashitha was a lovely server and really took great care of us. The samosa chaat was incredible and so full of flavor. My friend and I had a wonderful dinner here recently. We had samosas, onion bhajia, dal makhani, chicken biryani, paneer Tikka masala, naan, aloo jeera, pickles, and Moscow mule. Everything was absolutely delicious, came out quick but hot and perfectly balanced heat just as we requested. Our hostess was attentive, friendly and accommodating. We learned that some of the negative comments on social media were left by young kids/students who were just being vindictive because they didn't get what they want. I had a surprise lunch party planned for my husband at Spice Club. I had about 100+ guests and had an excellent experience with Spice Club from planning to execution. The owner Sharath Dara was very pleasant to work with and was very accommodating. He catered to all of our specific needs for food choices - vegetarian, jain, vegan - and provided all options for our guests. He made sure to provide all the items on our menu as requested and truly went out of the way to do so. Each and every item was very flavorful and of high quality. Sharath was very helpful and offered to even assist with the decorations to ensure everything was set up properly and timely. He made sure we were well equipped with all we needed to setup the decorations. The entire restaurant was booked for our party and the ambiance was very welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent service and absolutely delicious food! We were super happy with everything and our guests enjoyed thoroughly. They praised the service and the food for days!! I had also ordered brunch for next day for about 50 people. The delivery, setup and food again outstanding. this place was really really delicious! somehow the parking lot is always empty, but when we went in there were multiple people eating at multiple tables. I don't understand where or how they came from. The empty parking lot always put us off to this place, but we were wrong, It was really delicious food! The lamb korma is the best I've had on the East Coast. better than lamb korma that I've had in Queens. Almost better than the korma I've had in India. I'm pretty sure we heard them blending the almonds for the korma as we were waiting. this place is legit! The goat curry was robust and ridiculously flavorful. We were able to customize the spice level for each dish. My kids absolutely loved all the dishes. we ordered! The roti and naan were freshly made and so good. Awful! Nothing my friend and I wanted to eat from the menu was available. We tried to order four different dishes, and were told each time they didn't have it. No coconut curry, no dumplings, no paneer, and nothing at all from the IndoChina part of the menu. I asked our waiter if there was some sort of shortage or something, he said it is always like this. Ok, fine. We finally are able to pick things they are actually serving. After a few bites, I excuse myself to go to the bathroom. I turn the lights on, and baby roaches scurry out of the darkness on the floor! I told the waiter, he said he'd investigate. Five minutes later he drops off my bill without another word. Now I am not one to dispute bills ever, but with half of the menu unavailable and a roach infestation in the women's bathroom, I was expecting something. Maybe an apology at the least. He told me he couldn't help me, since he went in and didn't see any. Well, it's a good thing I took a picture! They ended up giving us 25% off the bill. So excited to have a new Indian restaurant in town. We were very impressed with Spice Club. The lamb vindaloo was out of this world - super rich and flavorful. We went spicy and do not regret it, super flavorful and tangy with just the amount of kick to it. Chicken tikka Marsala was also delicious. Entrees come with rice and a naan starter with sauces which is an extra bonus. Price was very reasonable. Gulab jamun for dessert was a nice treat at the end.
