Had Bun Xao and Pho Ga, and my son meant to order rare beef pho but accidentally ordered beef stew, but he had zero regrets it was delicious with huge chunks of beef. I've never had Vietnamese beef stew before but it was very much like American except with vermicelli noodles. My Pho was excellent, but I would have appreciated a bit more protein and it seemed to be lacking a little in saltiness could have been light on salt, soy or fish sauce. Easily remedied at the table. The bun xao also would have appreciated a bit more protein. I cant emphasize enough these were minor issues. Pricing was very good, no complaints. read more

It was our first visit here and will certainly not be our last. We arrived on a very cold, blustery afternoon in Feb 2026 and it was even very cold inside, but that did not deter the diners who packed into this intimate space. Service was friendly and helpful and the establishment was very clean including the restrooms. We started out with a pot of hot tea which was so welcomed. The beef stew pho was excellent, warming, and fresh. The fried rice was delicious. Parking can be challenging to find, but other than that we would highly recommend. I stopped here on a Thursday morning because it was the only pho spot open at 10:30am, and I was feeling under the weather and really craving some. I ordered the chicken pho (to-go) along with a green tea with ginger and lemon, and both hit the spot. The pho was super flavorful and tasted really authentic, the broth especially was delicious. Portions were generous and the prices were fair, (12.99 for chicken pho!) which I appreciated. I also got lucky with parking right out front. Stopped by this place that was close to my dad's house when visiting CT this winter. I like the fact they open at 10am so I can have my breakfast pho! I was the only one in there and ordered a bowl of pho tai. The portion was generous for the price, but the broth was a little bland, but aromatic. The meat was tender and the noodles cooked well. Very authentic Vietnamese joint and their Pho is the real deal. I have now been here over twenty times and in Fairfield County this is probably the best Vietnamese Pho I have had. Parking is rough, only two spots in front and there is some on the side street. The place seems always busy, no matter what time of day I have dropped in. The service is pretty fast and the helpings are extremely decent. I haven't tried anything else besides their Pho again and again and again and a few times I have tried their Shrimp and spring rolls, which are pretty decent sized. Overall pretty good pho but my family said it was a bit salty. So they would recommend to cut back on the salt but I thought it was fine. The large bowl was really big, a great big size. Was not expecting that. It was awesome. Pho was pretty flavorful, lots of beef slices, appreciate all of the bean sprouts, basil and other leaves and sauces. The service was excellent, the staff is so friendly and attentive. It's nice to see there are people in Connecticut who like Vietnamese food. I was really surprised. The clientele was filled with a variety of community people, and It seemed like it was a regular spot for some of the customers I had the chicken pho. First I'd like to say I appreciate that the restaurant offers three sizes: small, regular and large bowl. I got a regular bowl. It was plenty of food. The broth was clear yet very rich with flavor. I received plenty of noodles and the chicken in the pho was extremely tender. It was white and dark meat, it tasted like the chicken was cooked on premises. This was not your typical sliced chicken breast meat of all the same size it had a very homemade shredded feel to it and the chicken itself had flavor. On the side I received cilantro and basil and sprouts and jalapeños, all very fresh If I was to make any criticism, it would be that I felt my noodles were too much and I could've had less noodles and more broth After I received my bowl of pho I noticed other customers were ordering their bowls of pho with "less noodles" it's nice to know that's an option and I may try it next time And closing, I'll say the broth was very very flavorful. Pho Nha Trang I tried in a whim while running errands in the area. Was craving pho and this was a random stop. Suddenly I'm so hooked that this is the spot I chose to go eat the day before my wedding day. First, let's talk about the iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. It transported me back to perfectly roasted coffee in Vietnam (and it was very very strong too). So delicious. Next, the Gỏi Cuốn Tôm Thịt (Shrimp and Pork Summer Roll) was perfectly rolled. Another customer got talking to me as they saw me take pictures and said "you know it's the real summer roll when it's pork AND shrimp!" She was very right and when I took some home for my husband, he agreed immediately. Entree wise, of course you can never go wrong with pho. I really liked their Bún Thịt Nướng (Grilled Pork on Vermicelli Noodle). The first time I tried it with the shrimp extra but felt it was too garlicky. But it was perfect for me to add Chả Giò (pork and veggie fried spring roll) to the mix. My sister also really liked ordering the Cơm ​Sườn Trứng (Grilled Pork Chop and Fried Egg) because of the runny egg yolk and plenty of protein in the meal. The entrees are plenty and very large portion. While it's a trek, I think it's worth driving to from Hartford. Staff being friendly is also a bonus! I've been to places that didn't make it well at all, but this place was fantastic. The ambiance here is simple. It looks like a Chinese take out place, except it is obviously Vietnamese. I noticed a copy of the famous glass Taiwanese lettuce sculpture on one of the walls. The service was friendly, and they were willing to help us understand the menu and accommodate our needs. The other thing that is worth noting is the price. My meal, which consisted of shrimp, pork, chicken, and spring rolls, was only $12.99. The other vermicelli bowls were $11.99. Subtle spices, grilled flavor... simply delicious!!! The pickled veggies cleansed the palate between bites. We also ordered the Vietnamese pancake not really sure what we would get. When it came out I was surprised. I didn't know what to expect but it just surprised me. It looked like an omelette but when I tasted it I couldn't place what it reminded me of. It was a little sweet, not eggy at all, it was crisp.... Then it hit me... coconut!!! There must have been coconut flour in it!! So different but delicious!! The place needs a serious deep cleaning. Everything is scuzzy. The tips of the Sriracha and other condiment bottles are covered with dried, crusted residue. Picked up some Vietnamese food for dinner before heading back to NY from RI on a Thursday. We saw pictures of banh mi on Yelp and were craving the sandwich, so called to inquire since we didn't see them on the menu. The staff was friendly and said they do sell banh mi, so we ordered 2 pork ones to go, along with a bun bo hue, spring rolls and pho ga. The prices were much cheaper than those of NY. When we had our banh mi, we noticed that the pickled carrots didn't smell right. Moreover, the only filling in the sandwich included pork, cilantro, carrots and jalapeños, and maybe a light smear of mayo ... so not exactly the banh mi I'm used to.
