We had our kids attend Toddler University Preschool, LLC for about 5 years. The director/owner is friendly and kind offering a preschool with love and passion like no other! Everything you would want to hear, even offering extra curricular activities like yoga, karate, animal experiences, zumbini, and a big firehouse graduation! My kids had the time of their lives. Creating friendships that last a lifetime. Friendships. Not just between the kids also between the parents. We have met a multitude of people in this business. Where you can message another parent and feel like you have known them your whole life. But something changed. Communication and my kid had meltdowns at drop off, but everything was "fine" when I ask how my child was during the day. But clearly my child did not think so. Being almost the oldest family attending and loyalty means nothing to a small business like this. Receiving a 30 day notice with no explanation (contract says no explanation can be given) other than "personal reasons" came to a shock. I was told to keep personal life and business separate and not let them mix. Payments we made rearly, participated school events, accepting of any changes to policies. There were no issues there. Once I received the 30 day notification (by text), at drop off/pick up I wasn't greeted by the owner anymore. I was greeted by the assistant teachers. I had questions and needed clarification, but I was told not to bring this topic up to her or the assistants (needed to relay messages and was not physically present) and not to reach out to other families because it wasn't "my place." As a mother it is my right to know what is happening with my child in someone else's care and why is it only happening to my child. When you think you know somebody better than your family, it's like getting stabbed in the back with a dagger. It hurts, but time will pass and will heal. After experiencing this. I would highly not recommend Toddler University Preschool, LLC. I don't want anyone experiencing rejection from a caregiver to your child with no explanation of any sorts, regardless of loyalty.

We had a couple years of positive experiences but something has changed dramatically recently. I…read morecould detail my many minor frustrations with the lack of communication and what seems to be intentional deceit with moving students between classes without notifying parents, but I feel the two major incidents that caused us to leave will speak for themselves: In the last week and a half my daughter was first directly given a known allergen by a staff member, causing an ER visit and extremely stressful day for my whole family. To be clear, this was not an accidental exposure - she was handed a cup of milk despite having a well-documented allergy to milk. Yesterday, my daughter was sent home with dried feces caked on the back of her shirt from a BM that occurred at 10 AM. She was walking around all day with a significant amount of feces on her. Based on the fingerprints and smudges she was touching it frequently, so it is fair to assume that everything she touched and even the other children she interacted with were exposed to the potential bacteria and illnesses known to be in feces. When I called to address both issues their response essentially amounted to 'mistakes happen.' Obviously this was extremely upsetting given these two incidents so close together, which clearly indicates a larger issue. After a tense but professional phone call with the owner I was told my daughter was no longer allowed to attend, effective immediately. Luckily we were already making plans since we didn't feel she was safe there anyway, but I was still appalled that rather than bear responsibility they chose to dismiss it. I am truly fearful for every student in that center. I don't know what it is happening but there is a clear lack of appropriate management and it is putting kids' well being at risk.

Every day, she surprises us with how much she's learned: letters, words (English, Spanish, and sign language), colors, animals- and she genuinely enjoys it. Sometimes, I have to work to entice her to leave! As two working parents with often opposing schedules, the on site chef is a major convenience as it leaves one less thing for us to worry about. The staff is warm, patient, kind, fun, and engage the kids in a variety of activities to keep them learning and having fun. They readily chat with me about her day and answer any questions I may have. I get daily reports about what she's learning, eating, dsiaper changes and potty training, naps, and loads of fun pictures! She's not always an angel and they apply patience, thoughtful boundaries, and kindness in helping her learn the appropriate behaviors. I had to chime in and improve the rating as one person had a different experience eight years ago and gave one star, but we truly value this business and wanted to share our experience.

In addition, the kids often have other things they need to do following activities- homework, chores, etc. It's frustrating to me that a schedule is changed three times in 48 hours. While this may seem normal to the studio, it's rude and ridiculous. It's equally frustrating that we often wait 10+ minutes after class is scheduled to finish to pick up my child. Today, there was a 28 minute wait. I can't say enough about the progress of my child at the studio. She has learned a lot in a short time and loves it. Just be consistent and maintain schedules. We are all customers and the experience matters to everyone.

I cannot say enough good things about Little Darlings. My son started going there when he was 1.5…read moreyears old. I was really worried because by the time he was 2 because he still was not talking. The owner Ms. Adrian (who I honestly think may be an angel disguised in human form because she is so kind and so caring) told me to give him a few more months as did my pediatrician. Well not only did my son start talking at 2 years 3 months, he started to academically excel. He learned his colors, shapes, mathematical concepts almost overnight and every day he seems to learn something new. His father recently got a teaching job at a local private school so we decided (given his discount) to apply for a pre-k four spot. When we met with school staff and we were told all the things he would be learning in Pre-K 4 this year, we realized that almost everything on the list he already learned at Little Darlings. When my son did his trial run of Pre-K 4 at the new school, he was accepted into the school by close of business that day. They were impressed by his behavior and intellect and we attribute much of that to Little Darlings. In addition to making sure that your children learn, the staff at Little Darlings are truly caring. The owner is one of the kindest people I have ever met and her empathy/concern trickles down to the rest of the staff. I still remember a rough morning that I did not want to drop my son off (he barely had sleep the night before but I was starting a new job and couldn't call out so I had to begrudgingly send him to school knowing that he was exhausted), the assistant director noticed the shift from my normal demeanor. She asked me if I was ok and I honestly told her "no" and she just gave me a big hug, and that hug and her care/concern helped me to get myself together and go through my day. The staff at Little Darlings has truly poured into my child and into me. I am very sad that my son is leaving but he takes with him a joy for learning that the staff at Little Darlings helped to instill. I can truly say that having him at Little Darlings was one of the best parenting decisions that we have made. I assure you that your children will be safe, loved, they will learn, and they will thrive if you enroll them into Little Darlings!
