Spillway is our go to. We need to try more of their specials & soups. Pizzas are really good. Always a friendly staff and great tasting food. I got the Buffalo chicken pizza and I added bacon, cream cheese & jalapeño. It was super good! My wife tried the chicken avacado BLT sandwich and loved it. Recently I tried the BOB pizza which consists of beef, sauerkraut, jalepeno and cheese, it was very tasty! We love totchos so we'll be trying those next! It was hard for us to find a recent menu online so I'm hoping this helps people out as we like to kind of browse menus before going places. 10/10 would recommend

Great little hole in the wall joint. Solid burger and chili. The waitress, who was by herself, did a great job handling the lunch crowd.

Better than average bar food. Conveniently located next to the hotel I was staying at for a concert. Located close to the amphitheater.

I tend to hit this place late afternoon early evening and it's pretty quiet. A nice spot for a friendly table service and good food. The woman working behind the bar who helped me was incredibly courteous and friendly, which I really appreciated. While I was waiting, I saw several tenderloin sandwiches being served to dine-in customers, and they looked absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, our food was only average. We ordered the chicken fried chicken and the nachos. The homemade tortilla chips had good flavor, but they were extremely greasy. The biggest disappointment was that part of our takeout order was missing. That's partly on me for not checking before I left, but it was still frustrating. Overall, the combination of the long wait, average food, and incomplete order left us with a disappointing experience. I just didn't get a good feeling from the place, and based on this visit, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

I had a free afternoon and for some reason when I check yelp, a couple spots in Council Bluffs, IA show up. I check around and they look fine, elevated bar/comfort food that could be from Anywhere, USA. Pork tenderloin seems to be the move with something fried on the side. LPL's really stuck out for a few reason - massive tenderloin sandwich and a super Midwest feel from the pics. Coming from Omaha, LPL's is about 15 minutes from downtown, but everything is 15-30 minutes it seems no matter where you go so might as well check out a new state. This restaurant is as middle of nowhere in the middle of nowhere as it gets. Nondescript building with just a few windows on the side of what seems like a main road for the area. I'm fairly certain there has not ever been an Asian and/or Hispanic person set foot in here, but hey, I was looking for a hearty and authentic meal and that's what I got. Felt like Joe and Marisa showing up in Alabama. I walked in and could feel the eyes on me immediately and went straight to an open bar stool. The place was pretty packed for a random Monday at 1pm. Everyone seems like regular locals. Server/bartender came up and handed me a menu and I ordered a Yuengling. I already knew what I wanted - pork tenderloin deluxe with some cheese curds. Very reasonable and necessary up charges for both. Now, when people exaggerate and say, "so and so was bigger than my face" I brush it aside, BUT this pork tenderloin was much bigger than my face and is comically large. They actually gave me a to go box to cut some of it up and set aside for maneuverability. I won't say it was seasoned well but the bonus points for size outweighs all. I cut and stacked with mayo and veggies to eat and it was very delicious. Crunchy and juicy with fresh veggies and needed richness from mayo. I was on my 3rd day of curds and ranch, no complaints there other than from my doctor I'm sure. I suppose I can recommend this place... it was just an odd experience of being so out of place for me but the staff was friendly and food was good making this a good place to check out. I would say it's one-of-a-kind spot but I have no idea what the rest of the Midwest is like. It's really in the middle of nowhere and getting an uber back to Omaha took a whopping 17 minutes. I, of course, appreciate anyone that reads my long reviews of random restaurants. I have no idea who is reading this review in NE or IA. $25 for a massive sandwich and 2 beers is the deal if the century. Way off the beaten path but may be worth a visit if you are visiting Omaha and what a different experience.

Loved this place!…read more Omaha was such a surprising place for its range of high quality food. Memoir was only a few blocks away from our Moxy Hotel. We were able make a reservation on Open Table. Food (5/5): We had some wonderful food here. We had the following: TSUNAMI MAKI inside * shrimp tempura, crab mix, cream cheese / outside * crab stick tempura, spicy honey mustard, sweet soy, sesame seeds (8 pcs) WAGYU MEMOIR DIP* - smoked shaved beef, crescenza cheese, horseradish aioli, french bread, fries or simple salad Both were really delicious. For some reason, I missed the the "dip" was a "French dip sandwich" - I thought tit was actually a dip (haha). We split the sandwich as it was huge, and then ended up ditching the bread and adding the beef to the fried rice, below. BEEF FAT FRIED RICE - egg, snow peas, carrot, scallion Service (5/5): Server was kind and efficient. Ambiance (5/5): Cool, modern and upscale vibe. We had a cool corner booth. Loved the atmosphere.

The online ordering website was easy to manage and schedule my order. Upon arrival, the restaurant is beautiful so I would have loved to dine in. Yellowtail Sashimi: 5/5 fresh combination of fish, citrus, and a lil heat from the jalapeño! Memoir Salad: 4/5 little more cheese than I would have preferred. But good. I added the flatiron steak which was really tasty! I almost ate it alone as it was packaged separately, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked medium. Not sure how many ounces there were. Appeared small but good lunch portion. Roasted Beets: 2/5 I can't say I enjoyed this combination. The yogurt had a twang to it that I felt like was throwing everything off.
