Used my birthday reward for a free Mini Mia (personal pizza and half salad). That has to be one of the better birthday freebies out there. I got the double pepperoni pizza and added caramelized onion, goat cheese and prosciutto (for free!!). I opted for the spinach salad with blood orange vinaigrette which was one of the better takeout salads I've had. The only real comment I have is that this doesn't count as Neapolitan pizza in my mind because of the thicker crust and pile of toppings, but anywhere that lets you add toppings for free is good in my book read more

Came in here on a Thursday evening. I was super tired with 4 hours sleep and just got off work. So my brain isn't at 100% First time here so menu was overwhelming. I asked a few questions and the cashier was .. kind of annoying. She kept pointing to the menu or giving me a "you're dumb" look because .. "it's on the menu". Why not just have a kiosk and let me order then ? We order. Sit down and someone brings our food out and tops our water off. I ordered the duo mini. I forget the whole name but I think that's it, with salad. It's pretty good!! I added chicken to mine. Husband ordered same with pepperoni. Aside from short patient cashier, we will be back. I love Spin! Their pizzas are exactly the kind I like, their salads are delicious, and they are always accommodating for larger groups. We have held several celebratory dinners here with friends, and while they do not take reservations, they can arrange for a larger table if you call ahead. My favorite pizzas are the primavera and the margherita. The Mini Mia combo is great, with a personal size pizza and a small salad. I enjoy their Greek salad,with the buttermilk dressing. They always have a decent selection of gelato as well,so make sure you save some room for dessert. This past weekend they had an amazing Mackinac Island Fudge flavor, mmm... Ordering is done at the counter, and they hand you a number for your table,along with the check. It's a bit of a different process where you pay at he counter, but add your tip and sign the check at your table. It works though, and certainly speeds up the process when you are ready to head out. The restaurant is roomy and has a good mix of tables, booths and high tops. The line at the door can feel a bit clustered during busy times, but usually moves pretty fast. I had to remove one star from my review though, because they recently got rid of Coke Zero, to my great sadness. Please bring it back, Spin! It made you guys perfect! read more

SPIN is a new style for eating that has swept the US- casual personalized food. I couldn't tell at first how to enter the store and what to do, as it has a more "pay at the counter" type set up as as you walk in, but also seemed to have staff members offering full table service. You enter and look at a handheld menu or the menu board on the wall while in line. You step up to the register and order, and take your billfold check and order display number to a table of your choosing (booth, high tops, low tops, bar). You sit there and the wait time is short to get your food (great for that one hour lunch break during the week). The staff checks on you and asks how you are doing frequently, and you can add on anything to your tab, as it is an open tab till you sign and tip in the billfold (ex. wine, beer or their house gelato). The decor there is modern, airy and fun. The music isn't too loud and they have a few big screen TV tuned to ESPN and news. They have a selection of beers, wines, and bottled sparkling drinks, as well as fountain soda. There is bar seating for the casual or solo diners. There is an amazing outdoor patio that is DOG FRIENDLY! SPIN uses high quality ingredients and creative combos to make pizza that is more unique that your usual big box pizza chains. Arugula, goat cheese, and fig jam are some examples. They can personalize anything and also offer a mini mia which allows you to pick any personal pan size of pizza on the menu and also a soup or salad on the menu. We had a decent experience here as a group while staying in a nearby hotel (the Fairfield Inn and Suites is about 100 yards' walk). The food was above average, the prices were fine, and the service was pretty good. As a large group, we were a little bit disappointed by the lack of help we received from the manager when we asked if there was a way we could sit together. The issue is that you place your order when you walk in, go find an available seat, and then they bring your food out by number. The manager didn't seem too crazy about helping us secure several tables together, even though we had about 25 people coming. It ended up working out, but it was nerve wracking at first. When we got our food, the pizza tasted great. They have good kid specials (includes a small scoop of ice cream), and the price for that was fair. I think the wait staff here tries really hard and we had good service. I like that they keep your tab nearby so you can order more beer or wine (or ice cream) as you finish your meal. The best food were some of the specialty pizzas. I thought the salads had generous portions, but it was a bit boring. The cheese pizza for the kids was pretty weak and lacked much cheese. I enjoyed the flavor of the crust on our Margarita Pizza. As some other people mentioned, the atmosphere was a bit boring - sort of a high-end cafeteria feel. It can be loud and isn't probably an ideal spot for a date. Much better for family meals or just being out with friends. Overall, I would eat here again if I wasn't there with a group. read more

I should probably not be writing a review, but I checked in so there's no turning back. I was at an all-day work event. Spin! was ordered for lunch. When it arrived I was busy on a conference call. I didn't get to the pizza until it had been sitting for a while. I had two pieces. First thing I noticed was the pizza is thin. Nothing wrong with that, but when a person doesn't get to it fresh, the warmth of the pizza dissipates quickly. The first piece I tried was the SALSICCIA CON MELA (ITALIAN SAUSAGE & APPLES) - fresh mozz + crushed glazed pecans. I had to try a piece because well, all the other pizzas had pieces missing, but this poor soul of a pizza was still untouched. I thought the flavor was good. The second piece I tried was, I think, the SPIN! MARGHERITA - fresh mozz, roasted grape tomatoes + basil. All I remember was there were delicious tomatoes on top. After reviewing the menu, I think this is the one. Though is was not warm, it was very flavorful. And that's it. It seemed there were 20 pizzas on the table. Way too much pizza for the number of people. Even on my hungriest days I couldn't have tried a piece from each. Turns out there is a Spin! in Alameda, right up the road. I'd definitely be willing to give it a try. It would be nice to have an opportunity to review a pie right out of the oven. read more

Food is usually very good but I have had problems with their online ordering system as well as phone orders. I sat on hold for almost 30 minutes before I got to the store and they told me that they had shut their phones off and turned online orders off with no explanation. Spin! is close to the animal shelter where Mike S. and I volunteer (shameless plug for Town & Country Humane Society). We are typically impressed with the friendliness of their staff. The manager is especially congenial and proficient in his customer service. Jolly good show! They have a variety of veggie topping options. Toptions! They also have a white bean hummus that is super tasty! When you order it standard, it comes with some dairy product on it so of course I leave that off. Because I'm awesome. This restaurant has a sufficient variety of beer, including a local beer, at any given time. I order wine. You can get it in a 6 oz or 9 oz pour. I usually get lucky and show up at the end of a bottle so I get like a 10 ounce pour. Score! Last I was in there, I was told that they would have a new vegan gelato flavor soon. I am looking forward to that as they have only offered chocolate thus far. Far be it from me to turn my nose up at chocolate gelato. However, chocolate isn't my favorite. An excellent and reliably good addition to Papillion. In addition to tasty pizzas with a delicious, chewy crust, Spin also offers some of the best salads you'll find anywhere. Having said that, the atmosphere is a bit more generic buffet style than would normally suit the food quality. It also always seems a touch more expensive than it should be. Overall though, if you're looking for a tasty meal the whole family can enjoy, and maybe even some wine, beer, or creamy gelato to go with it, Spin is a great option in the Papillion area. read more

I'd visit again but not my go to chain pizza place. I love margarita pizza, I've had better and I've had worse. We stopped into this little restaurant in Papillion today because hunger took us over while shopping. We walked in and was mediately greeted by Skyler, our hostess. she was able to walk us through the menu and explain what would be the best options for us. She was very informative and made us feel like family. We ordered the starter with three dips of pepper and goat cheese, hummus, and lemon ricotta served with a flat bread. We paired it with the 6" chefs pepperoni pizza with basil. Everything we had was delicious! The food was soo good we felt like we were back in Italy! I am staying at the Fairfield Inn next door and just had a delightful meal at Spin Pizza. I was met by a cheerful young lady when I walked in who could tell that I was lost, looking at the menu board. She asked if it was my first time there and provided a quick overview of the beers, wines by glass and bottles, the pizza options, salads as well as the Pizza, Salad combo option. I sat at the and enjoyed my meal watching some sports and talking to the owners. Food was delicious and it made for a perfect low key evening. Service is excellent and the owner's wife also offered me a 10% discount when she found out that I was staying at the hotel. I got a spinach salad, and the prosciutto, spinach pizza with mozzarella and fig onion marmalade. Salad was light and tasty and pizza was satisfying without the guilt. They also offer gluten free crusts. What is cool is that They actually have a coupe of things that also spin...the pizza oven and this draft beer dispenser (see pic). read more

Place: This place was in amazing shape and the vibe of the place was great. Food: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, this was so good and the 12-inch was the perfect size if you aren't starving but not full either. COVID-19: Did a great job sanitizing tables, the employees wore their masks correctly and did a great job social distancing. 2 things I would recommend: -Bio degradable straws (just make the diner more earth friendly). -A mat by the front door (the snow caused the floor to be very wet and could get someone hurt). I was more interested in the Mini Mia because I wanted my own individual pizza to avoid leftovers. The 7" pie with choice of salad or soup was perfect. My "create your own" pizza wasn't as saucy or cheesy as my mom's signature BBQ chicken however, it was baked just right. Nice crunch to the crust with a soft, chewy middle. Topping it with more than one pepperoni per slice would've been better though. The signature BBQ chicken pizza was "a little spicy" but she couldn't tell if it was coming from the sauce or the chicken. Maybe we ordered the Mini Mia to leave room for dessert because gelato. A dozen flavors from blueberry butter cookie to Swiss chocolate to Mackinac Island fudge. You can request a takeaway bag too for later or, like us, for family that couldn't join us. The service was great from ordering at the counter to table service throughout our meal. The kids menu was a super deal for my 2 year old nephew. A 7" cheese pizza, apple juice, and a tiny scoop of his own gelato for only $5. Great deal, great price. We will come back, once we're back in town again, whether it's for their pizza or gelato or both. read more

The ordering process was quick. There were a few people waiting in line when we got there but the line moved quickly and allowed time for us to look at the menu. Spin constantly impresses me. I think that it is a great addition to this area. Sometimes you want quality pizza (and I am not talking about the hut or Papa John's) and you don't want to drive into Omaha for it. Spin meets this need for me. First off, they have lots of food and drinks to order from. They offer gluten free and wheat crust options to meet everyone's needs. I love the Mini Mia meal, you get a 6 inch pizza along with a soup or salad. I think this is great value and fills me up. I always get a tomato soup and dip my pizza crust in it. My husband just gets a regular pizza and eats it himself, so if you are with a group of hungry people I would get two pizzas because I think people wouldn't be satisfied with one. The service is always surprisingly fast and friendly. I have never had a problem with my service here and everyone is very helpful and professional. Another thing I love about Spin is the gelato! It is so creamy and they have a lot of options. They will let you sample the gelato, so if you have a hard time making up your mind, take advantage of it! read more
