We started going to Grace when they first opened. The food was always delicious, served hot, and service was great. Over time service dropped off (the staff is very young) and the food quality deteriorated. Over several visits we were served undercooked pizza, burned pizza, cold wagyu meatballs, and a glass of wine that had been wiped out with the rag they used to clean the counters so it reeked of (and tasted like) ammonia. Tonight we went in to give it another try. We were seated at the bar, one seat away from the manager who was evidently working on schedules or something similar. We browsed the menu, drinks list, chatted among ourselves, watched an employee try to figure out how to pull a draft beer from the tap, watched the couple beside us get their dinner, watched the manager share inside jokes or memes with one of the wait staff, and waited, and waited... over the span of approximately 10 minutes, as wait staff stood in the corner chatting, we were NEVER greeted, offered water, asked if we were ready to order... nothing. The manager who was literally one seat away from us at the bar was oblivious. We finally had enough waiting and decided to go elsewhere. I politely tapped the manager on the shoulder and explained to him that we were leaving, and told him why. He was shocked. Totally clueless.‍ read more

It's located right in downtown Papillion, which is one of my favorite areas to walk around. There is plenty of parking nearby, making it easy to visit. We recently stopped in for dinner because we were in the area walking around. The restaurant was clean and it wasn't busy so the wait staff was friendly and attentive. We started with the cheesy garlic bread, and it was excellent. The drink selection is decent and I enjoyed a nice glass of wine with dinner. I do wish they offered a few more local beers on tap, but there were still plenty of options to choose from. Prices seemed pretty average and about what I would expect for a local pizza place. As for the pizza, the results were mixed. I'm a huge fan of Margherita pizza, but this version missed the mark for me. It had far too much sauce, large chunks of garlic that overpowered the other flavors, and very little basil. The balance just wasn't there. I've been coming to Grace's since they first opened and have always tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but lately the experience has gone downhill significantly. When we came in for lunch, there was only one other table seated, yet it took over an hour for our two appetizers to come out. During that time, nobody checked on us or even asked if we needed anything. After sitting there for an hour with only water, we finally had to ask to order drinks and our pizza. There was absolutely no sense of urgency whatsoever, and honestly we felt completely forgotten about the entire visit. Unfortunately, when the pizza finally arrived, it was overcooked -- and sadly this isn't the first time this has happened with both the pizza and garlic knots. Every visit lately has been disappointing, and I kept hoping it was just an off day, but it seems to be getting worse each time. To top it all off, after we finished eating, we waited another 20-25 minutes just to get the check. I eventually had to get up myself and ask the employee sitting at the bar on his phone and laptop for our bill. It's honestly sad because this used to be one of my favorite places. I used to rave about Grace's and recommend it to my friends and members on my food page all the time, but now it feels like every time I go, the experience is worse than the last. Cute, newer spot to the Papillion area! Landscaping is well taken care of and the restaurant is clean! Been there twice now and the pizza has been great both times! Their garlic bread is wonderful! Drinks are yummy behind the bar! Small section of indoor seating available so it's a bit of a wait if you are wanting that. They have a back patio which seems nice but was closed when I went. Staff was attentive and seemed like they liked their jobs which always makes being there more enjoyable for guests!! read more

It took me way too long to try this place. I took my grandma while she was visiting from Texas on her last day in town. We went to Dolomiti on her first day and after we ate here she said, next time I come, if you want pizza, WE'RE COMING HERE! So it was definitely a winner. We did the coarser burrata sandwich and the gardella pizza. We ate literally everything but one slice of pizza. The pizza sauce had a spicy kick and the huge cloves of garlic were awesome. Will definitely be back! We started with thick and cheesy beer cheese soup with roast pieces; rich with a very light beer taste. Our main course was the Sweet Perfection pizza. The crust is great--a slightly crisp outside with fluffy inside. The atmosphere is trendy but clean and comfortable and service was attentive. A neighboring table got one of the shakes with sweet on top (piece of cake, cinnamon roll, etc...). We didn't have one but looked tasty! read more

Had Grace for first time tonight. Very solid. 4.5 out of 5 stars. Service was fantastic . Attentive and friendly. Food didn't take long and they were pretty busy. We had the Pattons pepperoni and a custom pie with Italian sausage, mushrooms and bell peppers. Loved the jalapeño ranch for didn't the crust. The crazy cheese bread is essentially a cheese pizza lol. But also very good. Will be back for sure. read more

The place was so packed the first time I went! We were able to get seating at the bar pretty quickly! The pizza was Delicious and the crust was crunchy and very just the way I like it! Yes parking is going to take two extra minutes to find, but it is worth it! While the restaurant is small, the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. The service was excellent! The whipped ricotta appetizer was sizable and perfect amount of sweet and savory but be warned of the giant baked garlic cloves in! It was a bit of a surprise biting into it. The pizza menu is pretty extensive. We got the haiwaiin and a spicy one with all meat. The toppings themselves were good, but both pizzas had a LOT of crust- it seemed almost half of the surface area. Overall it was a good stop and I'd go back if I was in the area. read more

I went to Grace with a large group of friends. The service was fast and attentive. The restaurant looked nice and clean. The music did seem to get louder the longer we were there. The food looked good. My son enjoyed his Yard Bird pizza. I ordered the Randolph Calzone. I ended up receiving the Mediterranean Greek calzone. Not sure if mine got mixed up with someone else's order but I ended up eating it anyway. I wish I would have said something but they were busy so I didn't. We LOVED Grace! The pizza was amazing, the stone oven crust was crispy and the pizza had tons of toppings and really interesting combinations you wouldn't typically see! The shakes were also delicious such a fun treat but they are pretty much icecream and very sweet so be prepared I do wish we hadn't gotten ours to go because they looked so cool on other tables when they were made in house! We ordered some garlic knots with marinara as an appetizer and I would recommend them. We also ordered a few pizzas. My daughter loved her cheese pizza and I took some of the melted cheese from her pizza and added it to mine. I didn't carefully read what I ordered and didn't realize feta was the only cheese on it and I asked for no feta. I think my pizza was overcooked and the cauliflower crust was hard. I like well done crusts so I didn't mind. I may go back to try the pasta dishes. No kids menu but our server mentioned two kids items. I think one was a fettuccine Alfredo. No kids drinks and we paid $3.50 for a kid drink. Service was great and ambience is nice. They have big tvs so I could be fun during football season. This is a tiny little spot in downtown Papillion. There's several seats at the bar, a large booth, and a few tables. It can definitely fill up fast! During lunch time on a weekend, it was fully packed. But we didn't have to wait more than a few minutes for a table. It can be quite loud inside. Its got a casual modern warehouse vibe. The menu offers a lot of appetizers, various pizzas, pastas, and more. So it's a lot more than just pizza and shakes. But with pizza in the name, we had to go for pizza. We each ordered a pizza for ourselves. They are big enough to share. I took home half my pizza. Many of the pizza creations were tempting! Especially those outside of the norm. I finally settled on the La Grande Vita. Wagyu meatballs, jalapenos, etc. It was crazy delicious. And it was just as good the next day. The pizzas are perfectly cooked. The crust is fabulous. And they offer sides of dipping sauces (like a jalapeno ranch). Our server was attentive and friendly. But it was difficult for him to hear us and us to hear him due to the noise level. Our third time here, every time seems to be better than that last. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We both had Spicy Margaritas, they were well made with a good amount of spice. Started with the Whipped Honey Riccota, very creamy with a nice kick and sweetness from the honey. For pizza had the Supreme Grace, loaded with topping and flavor. I had the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, and it was easily one of the best versions I've had. The blue cheese crumbles and perfectly balanced swirl of buffalo sauce really set it apart. The portion was huge--easily shareable, though I'm not mad about having leftovers. For dessert, I went with a Brownie Shake (subbed vanilla ice cream for chocolate). It came with an entire brownie on top, which slowly sank into the shake while I tried to eat around it--pro tip: remove the topping like my partner did with his Celebration Shake. Still tasty, just a little chaotic! My partner got the Heat Wave and was obsessed with the generous helping of meat and the hot honey drizzle. A friend ordered her go-to Mediterranean Calzone, which was a bit overdone this time. She opted not to wait for a remake since they were slammed--but she's a regular, so clearly it's usually a hit. We spent around $80 for my partner and me, with plenty of leftovers. Totally worth it for the portion sizes and quality, we could have shared most of what we ordered. Service was top-notch--everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. I think Graces will be really good for Papillion. While we weren't necessarily impressed, both couples sitting beside us were raving about it. It was quick service and packed. We really enjoyed the crust on the pizza but both our pizzas of Margherita, and the Ranch Meat Wagon fell a little short. A delightful new addition to downtown Papillion. Located off the main drag behind the Twisted Vine. Modern vibe with dark accents. Bar seating available for approximately 14 and another 10 or so tables in the main dining area. Not an overly large restaurant - fills up fast. We sat at the bar. Bartender was very engaging and informative. Menu has pizza, pasta, salads, and sandwiches along with a selection of appetizers. Started with the Spinach Dip. It was served with fresh baked flat bread. Dip was cheesy and delicious and the flat bread had a lot of garlic (tasty). Wife got one of the brick oven pizzas. Pizza's are approximately 12 inches and 6 slices. Went with Ashlyn's Art which is a cauliflower crust, sauce, feta, spinach, red onions, roasted garlic, roasted peppers, fresh basil and balsamic glaze. It was good, but she would have liked to have a bit more cheese on the pizza. I went with the Mike and Jen pasta dish. It consists of bow tie pasta, grilled chicken, garlic, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, capers, and romano cream sauce. It was absolutely delicious. Got the opportunity to meet one of the owners; Anna. The white pizza was likely my favorite--rich and delicious, though I do wish the toppings had been distributed a bit more evenly. The Caesar salad was fresh and tasty, though a little light on the dressing for my preference. I really appreciated that it was packed separately from the hot food, preventing the lettuce from wilting--something most places don't do anymore! Place is so cute in old Papillion area! Kind of small but still a lot of seating. Right when you walk in you can see some of the kitchen window and them making the pizzas. I normally go for plain boring pizzas but I wanted something "fancier" this time, and this hit the spot. This place is a must to visit! Let me warn you tho- you will become a regular after first visit. The experience was wonderful. Atmosphere, staff, food options, and more went above and beyond what I was expecting. I have heard good things so went last night. It was almost closing time and I didn't exp to be able to order, however they welcomed us in and took great care of us with no rush and no problem accommodating us. The staff were wonderful and helpful/cheerful and the food was beyond what words can say. Outstanding quality and options for sure! I recommend the Greek gyro pizza which was so light and perfectly balanced that it was hard to eat the whole thing! Portions are a good size so be careful not to over-indulge! You can do half and half if the base sauce is the same on both halves. We had Margarita and pepperoni. The crust is light and airy and crisp -so so delicious! Again no room for dessert, sad.
