But...the children's meals came at least a half hour after the adults were served, which made for very cranky kids, and unhappy adults. And when the adults received soup refills, the waiter apologized that there was only broth in the bowls as they were low on soup. We sent it back as a bowl of broth was not appetizing. Walking in I almost felt a little unwelcome, my daughter and I were sat done 2 minutes after walking in. Our server made it all worth while he was nothing short of amazing, I mean seriously I'd go back just because of him. He treated my daughter and I very well. Always kept our soups coming and our glasses full. He explained everything so well when asked questions (I decided to try something new and was a little nervous) anyways it was pretty packed but not too crazy. Been waiting for days to come to Olive Garden to celebrate. Our sever was persistent and checked on us often. When desert time came I ordered my favorite: once a year dessert. To my disappointment it came out frozen. And there was no correcting it: I have higher expectations for this established that we frequent for special occasions and spend a lot of money on when we do. My wife and I ate here Saturday night. We figured to celebrate Father's Day early to avoid the rush. Using their ap, we checked in ahead of time, arriving about 6:30. We had almost no wait once we arrived. They were busy. We were taken to a table, which, since I am a clean freak, I will say it was cleaned very well!! Our server was Matthew. He did awesome and then some!! We told him my wife had to avoid garlic, not an easy feat in Italian places. Someone also came to our table to ask about her allergy. If she takes Benadril she can eat SOME garlic. She got breadsticks with just butter. We ordered an appetizer. The food came our very well timed. Our drinks, the appetizer, the soup and breadsticks, then the main meal. We seldom get a meal properly paced so this was awesome. Matthew frequently checked on us and kept our drinks filled. The food was properly prepared with large portions, proper temperatures, and very tasty. We gave one of the largest tips we have given, and I stopped and told the manager how well they and their server did. We ARE repeat customers, but this was the number 1 best visit EVER. Food was extra tasty! Had a gathering of the girls. My plate was so full of pasta and broccoli, took 1/2 home . Waitress, did a great job attending to us and keeping drinks filled. It was packed with people. I found no parking. So I parked across the road in the mall. Easy walk actually. There were 5 Birthdays counted while I was there . We tried to get her attention and she would just race past us. Very disappointing. I ordered soup and salad and I requested ranch for my salad (not Italian) ..It came out drenched in Italian dressing.. I requested it a 2nd time only to have her hand me a small container of ranch.. (oh well) Our appetizers were spinach dip and parmesan pita, delicious....fried mozzarella, and meatballs...locved them all! I chose this for our anniversary dinner and to receive my free birthday dessert. We were seated in the bar area and greeted immediately by the bartender. She was very friendly and brought her drinks quickly. We ordered everything within a few minutes of receiving our drinks, and only had to wait a short time for our meals. Everything tasted great, and we were given large portions as well. I do think they could have provided a little extra salad dressing on the salads, but that's only negative thing I have to comment on. I love Olive Garden and their food is amazing it's one of my favorite places to eat ! I was very unhappy with how my experience was today though , my server brought in one of her friends and sat her right in front of my table while I was alone just trying to enjoy my meal in peace , I had a huge migraine as well so it was nothing personal but just because I am pregnant. and was talking to her the whole time laughing very loudly about topics that wasn't appropriate for in front of a customer . I didnt want to be watched the whole time I was eating and I had to sit my food down for her to check up on me and notice I needed something even though she was right in front of me . and everytime I asked her for something she seemed like she was irritated that I was asking for more even though I wasn't asking for much it was just a refill on soup & 1 to go. I was going to tip a lot and always do I am a server so I get it am I am always very engaged in my customers ! I'm usually not the type to go to chain restaurants, but Olive Garden has always been my favorite of all of them. The quality of food I have noticed has improved over the years, especially at this location! I love their wide variety of soups. Their salad is also fresh & amazing. The breadsticks are so so good. I love their shrimp fritto misto appetizer!! My favorite thing to order off their entrees is the Chicken & Shrimp Carbonara sub their spaghetti pasta for fettuccine. Absolutely so delicious. My husband also either gets what I get or their chicken tortellini!! We've never had bad service at this location, the staff is always very friendly & attentive! The atmosphere is nice, more modern & clean look to it. If I could go here everyday I would LOL. I recently celebrated my 23rd birthday here & it was so good! Our waiter was so kind & made sure to make it a special occasion. I got a free dessert complimentary to celebrate & I ended up getting the strawberry cream cake, so so good. A group of friends and I went here two nights ago for dinner. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed!!! Laurie gave us exceptional service at our table! The restaurant was super busy for a Wednesday night. We were glad to have such awesome food dished out to us! It's cool because they are doing Never Ending Pasta for $13.99. I ordered a raspberry Lemonade, which was so refreshing. It's all you can drink. Next, I had about 5 breadsticks. They were so warm, fresh, and just the right amount of garlic butter coated on them. Then the bowls of salad came. I had 2 servings of the lettuce, tomato, olives, croutons, light salad dressing, and pepperoncinis. Finally, I got to my pasta. I ended up getting the fettuccine with creamy mushroom Alfredo. I was barely able to tackle this large 1st helping of pasta. Well, I was able to take home a 2nd bowl for the next day as well as 3 more breadsticks! The 2nd pasta I got to go was the angel hair with the simple meat sauce. It is so nice to return to Papillion and see an Olive Garden in Shaddow Lake...finally! There are wonderful options for everyone here and the atmosphere is great! I tried their Shrimp frites with battered shrimp, green and red bell peppers, and onions. It was perfect as an entrée for me especially with the vodka Strawberry Lemonade! The estimated wait / ready time was over an hour later. So I'm going to assume they're quite busy. The packaging was impressive. The salads had special tops where the croutons and dressing fit - outside and not in the salad in separate containers. And the breadsticks were in these packets that actually kept them warm. I have to admit that the takeout packaging is some of the best I've seen from anywhere. And the staff were meticulous about checking and re-checking to make sure the order was accurate. So great job on that! Ugh, the food. It's like you hope it's better than you think. That maybe somehow, since your last visit to a location a 5+ years ago, they magically discovered how to make food good. But no, it's still a no. Literally, some packaged pasta and jar sauce from the grocery store tastes better than whatever is going on here. Pasta is always overcooked. And nothing about the sauces is Italian. Olive Garden is to Italian like Taco Bell is to Mexican. And hey, I like me some Taco Bell. But I do not like me some Olive Garden beyond their salad dressing. I am visiting my daughter and grandchildren and her husband wanted to try the new Olive Garden. I wasn't that hungry but I love their soups, especially the Zuppa Toscana. There was quite a wait but once seated the service was fast. For a chain restaurant the food is pretty good. I love their bread sticks and their salads too. It's Mother's Day I ordered dinner for 3 of us. Two dinners and a large bucket of Zuppa soup. Our salads were so gross. The lettuce had so much wilted and brown lettuce. We had to throw them away. We got 4 cold bread sticks. Dinner was $78.80. Our family said we will never order out from here again. Salads should be made fresh even to go orders. read more

I'm writing this review because I needed a receipt a month later. There was a mismatch between my emailed receipt and the charge. I got a hold of Elmer, the service manager, at 5:30 on a Saturday night, probably the beginning of the dinner hour and was expecting the manager to beg off to a less busy time. ...but not Elmer. He was relaxed and not radiating urgency. He found my month old receipt, he found the reason for the discrepancy and sent me the receipt via email right away. Service was amazing and fast! 5/5: Our waitress was very helpful with her suggestions, and the food arrived hot and delicious. Expect a long wait, unless you can get there early. Calling ahead/adding names to the wait list online didn't appear to make much of a difference in wait time, although there were groups that arrived after us that were seated first, so maybe the trick is to get on the waitlist far, far in advance. Online wait times do not reflect what you'll actually experience once you get to the restaurant-completely understandable as crowds come and go- but our wait went from 20 min to 100+ once checked in (we were told 10min by those at the desk). If you're in a large party, they do a great job of sitting you first (especially if you have kiddos)- but it leaves the groups of 1-3 waiting for a longer period of time. We dined at this Olive Garden last night. We called ahead to get on the seating list knowing it was a Friday night and we have 3 young kids. They told us it would be a 40-50 minute wait. We waited at home until we would arrive at the restaurant once it'd been 35 minutes. Upon arrival we checked in. Then we waited, and waited, and waited some more. Since I had checked in on my phone I could see our place in line. Forty-five minutes passed as I continued to watch the line I took a screen shot at this point to share with a family member that they had a ridiculously long wait and had double wait time at least of what they stated on the phone. At this point, we were second in line. So I was watching intently because my kids were losing it at this point. I noticed they seated the group that the hostess seemed very familiar with and the group that was below us on the waitlist (same group number) was seated before us. When I questioned the hostess on this she told me they were ahead of me. I showed her my screenshots and she looked like a kid caught with their hand in the cookie jar. She apologized and said she didn't know what happened and that our wait wouldn't be much longer. At this point we had waited such a long time it wasn't worth leaving at this point. Another 10 minutes passed and we were finally seated, an hour and 50 minutes from time of initial call. We were seated at a four top with a chair pulled up to the table which made for a very crowded area. I'm sure they did this because they messed up and gave our table away and knew I was pissed. Our waitress came and took our order. When she returned with the salad plates, they were filthy. I got her attention after she helped the table next to us and she apologized and brought new ones . Of the new ones she brought, my husband still ended up with a dirty plate but he said to forget about it. The meal was mediocre at best. I usually really enjoy their soup and salad but the soup was lacking seasoning at all. My kids noodles looked like they'd been sitting in a dry vat in the kitchen for hours with a scoop of sauce on top. My husband had the steak and it was cooked correctly but again, no real flavor. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and spread too thin. She wasn't very attentive as we sat without drinks and any refills on our salad and breadsticks for most of our meal as we were thirsty and hungry after waiting this long. I don't fault the waitress entirely as this is lack of management. I won't write off Olive Garden in the future, but I will definitely write off this particular Olive Garden. The food is average, the white stuff was very good - but the atmosphere is ridiculously loud. It's more like a Chuck E. Cheese than an actual sit down restaurant. I know the staff can't do anything about people letting their children run all over the place in the restaurant, but if that's what you're looking for Dash Olive Garden is the place to go. read more

Sure, $17 for some cheese ravioli is a bit steep, but the endless soup, salad and breadsticks deal is pure menu magic. The soups are made in house, the salads are prepared to order, and the breadsticks are hot, greasy and plentiful. You could take a date to Olive Garden. You could get down one one knee and propose at Olive Garden. Try that at some other similar-level dining establishments and your knee might get stuck in the carpet. Not at this Olive Garden though, it is new and very clean. The service is always friendly, the food and drinks are delicious. I am personally really pleased to have an OG in our neighborhood, it's about time we got familiar around here. So what can I say? It's an Olive Garden. You know what to expect. Brand spanking new store at Shadow Lake, my son works here and got us a great deal for the opening for friends and family. Great atmosphere, great staff and great food.. We had : Calamari - kids loved it, I loved the cheese dip sauce. Yummy Fried mozzarella - simply amazing... Chicken and shrimp carbonara- amazing the sauce if phenomenal Chicken and gnocchi soup - although it was cold and only had 3 pieces of gnocchi it tasted good. Not as good as it usually is but still good. Asiago tortellini Alfredo (with grilled chicken) - there was no chicken on my meal but I can't eat but a couple bites so I just ate it as it was. It tasted great but would have probably been better with chicken on it Spaghetti made your way with meat sauce and shrimp added - it was sort of bland but to be expected with an entree that wasn't made with the amazing over the top sauces.. We had a really great experience here! Our waiter, Jason, was incredibly sweet and extremely helpful in answering our questions and getting us the things we needed. The food was delicious! I got a new chicken marsala dish with spinach and mushrooms and it was so good! My husband told me his steak was cooked really well and the salad is always delicious. The only complaint we had was the bread sticks. I don't know if they were trying a new recipe or if our batch just wasn't good, but they were smaller, harder and less flavorful than they normally are. I wouldn't hold the breadstick disappointment to them though, so I will be back! read more

I took my wife here for her birthday recently, since it had been over 10 years for her, and over 25 years for me, that we had been to any Olive Garden. We were not disappointed. We started with a couple of wines. My wife enjoys the sweet stuff. I don't recall what she ordered, but she loved it. My Merlot was very good also. We both ordered from their lunch menu, with my wife having the Five Cheese Ziti al Forno, with house salad and bread sticks. I also had the Ziti, but had their Pasta e Fagioli soup instead of salad, and breadsticks. We ended up ordering additional bread sticks because they were so good. I highly recommend you try the Ziti! The salad came in this huge bowl, and was more than my wife could eat. The soup was some of the best I have ever enjoyed. First, let me say, all the food was excellent. It was well prepared, served hot, and came very fast. We got there at opening (11 am), so there weren't a lot of people present at the time. But by the time we left an hour later, the place was pretty packed. I mentioned we were celebrating my wife's birthday when we sat down. At the end of our meal, our server (I believe his name was Tari?), came out with a desert menu, providing my wife with a free desert to take home. She chose their Chocolate Brownie Lasagna. Later that evening she ate it at home, and raved on how good (and rich) it was. We only experienced one negative. We were sitting at a table. After 10 minutes there, in came two women, one with a screaming (literally screaming) little girl, whom they sat right next to us in a booth. The good part was that this little girl only screamed for a solid 2 minutes, after which her Mom was able to quiet her down (thankfully). My only comment is that there was a LOT of available booth seating at the time. The kid was screaming the moment they entered Olive Garden. So, one would think the hostess could have seated them in an area less occupied (there was us at our table, an older couple in a booth on the other side of us, and a single woman in a booth just down from them), so that the screaming kid could have been distanced from us just a bit (and not have her piercing screams RIGHT NEXT TO US). But, like I mentioned, the Mom did get the little girl quiet after a bit, but those two minutes until then were VERY UNPLEASANT. Service was horrible we were told our wait would be 15-20 mins, so we sat and the bar and had a drink. There were several people that had been sat before us that had arrived and checked in after. we waited over 30 mins and still weren't served so we left. Let's begin by saying besides being a disappointment, it's not the place you would make a destination nor a relaxing lunch or dinner. To start, the salad was not mixed and very dry...must of been a shortage of salad oil. Then the all you could eat breadsticks were stale and over cooked....to compliment the over cooked breadsticks, the pasta was soft and limp... overcooked to say the least...the sauce tasted like the Mediterranean, salty with not a hint of taste. To compliment the meal, the waiters leaves ALL the dirty dishes on the table while you are dining and remain there even as you leave they are still on the table. To detract from the italia atmosphere of this restaurant, there were other dirty tables complimenting ours with something age...being there for a while one could say. I should of went down to 10th street for a better experience....even the volunteers at the Sons of Italy do a better job on taste and cleaning up tables. So if don't care about taste nor a clean dining environment...this is the place cause then you won't be disappointed. read more

The manager/hostess, front lobby staff and waitress were really nice and patient with my hearing impaired mom. They're also accommodated her for her disability to move. I would suggest more seating for people waiting.
