We were road tripping to drop my daughter off at UCM for a summer camp. We were looking for late lunch, early dinner options and came across Spin. I'm sure when school is in session this place is pretty busy, but we were lucky enough to go during the off-season. We were there at 3 PM so there weren't many people eating. It started picking up as we were leaving. The restaurant is quite large with lots of seating. There's a private party room and good size patio overlooking the stadium. When you walk in, you can either order your food at the kiosk, or walk up to the counter. The cashier was very friendly. We got our cups and helped our selfs two a fountain soda, then sat near the large windows overlooking the patio. My husband and I shared the barbecue chicken pizza with gluten-free crust, and the 8 color salad. Both were very delicious. My daughter got the three cheese Panini with chips and really liked it as well. I really wanted to try the gelato! It looked so good. But I didn't have any room left. As an out of towner I was having a difficult time trying to find somewhere to eat near Warrensburg. Thankfully I found Spin on yelp and made my way there. Since I was alone I opted out of dining in and placed my take out order at the counter. However the restaurant itself was spacious and could make for a casual date night. My order was ready after a few mins and I was quickly out the door to go enjoy my dinner. For my dinner I ordered the spinach and goat cheese salad that comes with glazed pecans and delicious caramelized onions. All of the salad's toppings combined created a complex layering of flavors that I really enjoyed. Plus they serve their salads with huge pieces of their garlic and herb flat bread that was equally tasty. First off, before I start, I just want to say that I LOVE Spin and I hope that this was just a bad day for them.... we are all human, we have bad days right? Anyway, I went in with my husband for lunch today and I was so excited about it- but unfortunately my excitement faded fast when we got our food. My tomato basil soup was so bland and lacked to great flavor that it normally has. I also got a 12inch half and half pizza- cheese (the #1) and the pesto e pollo (the #19). Even the pizza's flavor was very bland... the whole pizza also seemed to be over cooked- even the pesto was burnt. My husband wasn't a big fan of his pizza either... I'm only posting this in hopes that is brings a positive change and I will definitely be back for a second chance! read more

I think one of the best places in WArrensburg. We go there often when visiting the kids at UCM. Needs a UCM wrestling poster up though.

First time at this location. We went on the weekend before Christmas, most of the UCM students were gone so this place was empty. Let me sum up SPIN!: If you're looking for quality over quantity outside of traditional chain pizza fill'r ups, this is a wonderful place to eat. SPIN! offers oven fired pizza, great salads, unique appetizers, and they are flavorful and satisfying. We had the Magheritta (my favorite), Pepperoni, and the Tres Carni. All were excellent. Great service. It's not cheap. There are times I just want to load my mid-western sensibilities up with cheap carbs at the local buffet, that's fine, just know this is not that place. read more

Amazing place. We are here watching our daughter playing in the regional division two soccer tournament. The team decided to try out Spin Pizza and we joined them. The staff is super friendly, the prices are amazing, and the food is delicious. Everything seemed very fresh. As I said our team joined us. We showed up with 40 athletes. Everybody ordered and had their food within 30 minutes. I'm going back today for lunch. Try it if you're in the area. And don't forget to try out the gelato. read more

Probably one of the better places to eat around Warrensburg / Knob Noster, MO. Located on the university campus, the view is pretty great overlooking the football stadium. SPIN has a private party room too and a reward membership where you earn free gelato and meals with each dollar you spend here. The food is always consistently on-point and delicious here. Gourmet food is hard to come by in the Midwest, in my opinion, and SPIN has a variety of pizza and salad options, great for the meat-water and vegetarian. My personal favorites is the spinach / goat cheese / candies pecan salad and the Tres Carni pizza (ALL THE MEAT). I highly recommend this pizzeria! read more

Great spot to eat. We stopped here while in town for training. You place the order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. They also have a collection of gelato for dessert. I ordered the cauliflower crust pizza which had great flavor and it was a nice option. There are a variety of toppings to pick. I chose red peppers and prosciutto. I was disappointed that the prosciutto wasn't cooked and it was placed on the pizza cold. The salad was good with a variety of items for flavor. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. Came here for a graduation party. Pizza was out quick but that was about the only thing they have going for them. Staff was rude and inattentive. We had to ask them to take our order at the counter while they were all sitting around talking. Staff was rude to requests and didn't seem to appreciate our business or our large party who was going to give a large tip. However, the staff was touching pizzas as they came out of the oven without gloves on and holding them in place with their bare hands to cut them.
