Sophie was an excellent waitress! Me and my grandmother spit the kc strip. Our food came out in a timely manner and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Raging Bull SH and the potato

I just wanted a good burger while in town. So I order the Bacon Overload Buger. I can't understand how everything about that burger was good except for the dry meat burger itself. At a steakhouse no less. Not even that, they weren't busy so I sat at the bar. Was told I had to wait to be seated in order to get my food in that's fine, but for a dry burger. Sad. All the condiments could not bring the moisture back to that meat at a Steakhouse, doesn't give me high hopes for anything else on that menu especially for a steak if I can get a juicy burger then No thanks.

Nice atmosphere and options on the menu. We started with the pork belly fries which were super flavorful. I ordered the filet and it was cooked well. My son has the ribeye and my DIL had the steak sandwich. I enjoyed the strawberry started salad as well as the loaded potato for my side. We were all happy with our meals as well as our drinks. I recommend the lemon drop martini.

We were in the area for training. The hotel was next to the restaurant. It's a recent addition to the area. Pro's- The atmosphere couldn't be better. The inside is a wood theme with several TVs in the seating area. There is a main dining room and a separate bar area. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The menu provides a wide variety of options. The prices were good for the portions and quality. The steaks are cooked properly with good flavor. Con's- The seating is awkward in certain areas. There are a couple 2 person tables lined up in a section that makes it difficult to enjoy a nice dinner without strangers practically at your table. There were 2 couples that requested the waitress find a different area for them to sit. The staff was extremely accommodating and tried to find a better location. We tried a couple of restaurants while in town and we were really impressed with our experience here. I definitely recommend making this place your first option when looking for dinner in the area.

During my visit to Warrensburg, I was invited for dinner at Raging Bull Steak House. I ordered the grilled cheeseburger. What is a grilled cheese burger? It is a grilled cheese burger... in estás of the hamburger buns, you will grilled cheese sandwiches with a beef patty. The beef was delicious, the grilled cheese was overwhelming for me. I only ate one grilled sandwich. If you love grilled cheese and hamburgers, this is the perfect meal for you. I didn't get a side. The service was friendly and professional. Everyone was very inviting and helpful. The restaurant is cute, and very casual. Prices were reasonable. Not expensive at all.

I say that so people don't get upset when I say, Players Restaurant is located in the middle of nowhere, but it's in a safe nowhere! Pulling up was an exciting moment as my oldest daughter was graduating first in her class, a year early from high school and I hadn't seen her in a year. That said, I walked in about 4pm and almost no one was there. I asked the bartender if I could sit in the main room instead of the bar and she was cool with it. Players looks like a sort of Applebees with "crap" all on the walls but upon closer inspection, the photos are of local people. This tells me it's an authentic experience which I gained a much fuller appreciation. My daughters both said they liked the food there, and I was about to meet "the boyfriend" so I was anticipating the encounter. He walked in and I immediately made fun of him to put him at ease (my daughter warned him that I used to do standup) so the vibe was very nice. Next the waitress came over and was so vibrant and courteous that I was impressed. Now, I really liked a lot of menu items I saw but I wasn't that hungry. Again, I'll bring this back later, but could this "redneck restaurant" really make good Saganaki (Greek cheese) and Calamari? Needless to say, I was extremely skeptical however my sweet tea arrived and was spot on. I even asked for NO lemon and she didn't put it in my glass. Forgive my doubts as I used to be a chef so I can generally spot a disingenuous effort before trying it. First up was the Saganaki which came over a burner. Wow, they got part of it right! As an aside, the cheese can be one of many types with Halloumi or a type of sheeps milk feta that's shallow fried. That said, and I hope they read this to add authentic zest to the experience, it needs to be flambeed and hit with a shot of lemon to offset the richness which very loudly proclaiming OPA! Aside from the theatrics it was extremely good and the warm pita was on the money! Next up I had already determined I was making a mistake ordering the calamari. Well, I was wrong again. The squid were perfectly fried and crispy lacking grease that most restaurants think is ok. Players hit it out of the park with my only addition being I would have liked an aioli with it otherwise the dish surprised me. My kids both got fettuccini alfredo with chicken. I tried two bites and found it was average. The sauce was somewhat bland with slightly overcooked pasta. I think most kids would love it but after people build up a good amount of knowledge with quality dishes, this one fell flat. I'm not saying it's bad, but I wouldn't order it. The pork tenderloin sandwich looked good but I didn't taste it. I was dumbfounded by the huge tenderized pork outsizing the bun 3 to 1 giving it the illusion of getting a lot for the money. My daughters boyfriend assured me it was good and wrapped up half to take home. To summarize my review shows that one should never go in with preconceived notions about a restaurant before trying it. Players proved me wrong more often that I'm willing to admit. The staff are very nice, the restaurant has soul, and the food overachieves. If you're in the area I will highly advise dropping by for what could be the best food in town.

A young man opened the door for us upon entering the restaurant, which worked there. My Mom is in a wheelchair, so things can be a little more difficult moving around obstacles. We were sat at a very large table near the front door, which worked out perfectly. Actually right in front of the distillery operation of the facility. A patio is available to utilize as well, which makes things nice too. I ordered a Ribeye steak, grilled shrimp, baked potato, steamed vegetables, and complimentary rolls are provided with honey. Rolls are delicious!! Steak was cooked perfect to my liking (medium well). A lot of times places tend to bring my steak back "mooing" and it's more rare, but they cooked it perfectly here! Baked potato was hot and the butter was melted! Steamed vegetables were hot and tender. My side of shrimp was brought out cold..... Once I finally got the server's attention she took it back and had fresh made for me, which was good. A few things I would change.... Waitress to be more attentive. I realize they were getting ready to close, but our ice tea was frequently empty. Also she tended to get a little "pushy" with the bill once it was time to get paid. I hate being rushed, period. I did leave a tip, but it definitely would have been more had these changes been present. I'm generally a good tipper! All in all, the facility was in clean condition. The parking lot is large and flat, so easy to park. They do have a shop where you can buy alcohol, but I never was able to make it in there.

Unfortunately, over the past 18 mos or so, my family has noted that the food quality has gone downhill from the days when Katie Scully ran the place. Overcooked meat-especially the burgers. I have always recommended Heroes for the burgers, but bot my son and I have each experienced this on our last 3 visits. Loaded cheese fries and plain fries were excellent yesterday, but the Unknown Heroes tasted weird, as if the recipe was changed, and not in a good way. My husband and I have regularly used Heroes several times per year, and we almost always get 1 or 2 liters of the concoction to share with friends or, like yesterday, our grown-up kids. My kids are home from school and requested Heroes for the food and great family memories. So, I…read moregoogled a restaurant that is close, in a safe park of town that easy to access with plenty of parking and arrived at Cancun Mexican Cuisine. Outside the place needs a little TLC but no big deal I thought. Walking in I really enjoyed the amount of décor giving it that Mexican vibe I love. Looking around the stucko, hanging hats, flags, obnoxiously colored chairs and tables are what comes to mind when I go out to eat at a Mexican restaurant. However, on a 90 degree day, the restaurant was like 92 which was sort of a precursor to the experience I was about to embark on. First off the salsa was pretty bad. It had no heat which I actually prefer but it had no flavor. I literally thought it tasted like a mild marinara as if no cilantro was added rather it was poured from a can. The chips were ok but after tasting the "salsa" I was disappointed as that's usually the highlight. At least my sweet tea was pretty good. Oh the server needed something else to do as he was at the table every five minutes. As for dinner my daughter got the fajita nachos and seemed fairly unimpressed. It was mostly because the cheese was fairly bland but she did like the veggies as they looked and tasted charred. My other got the steak fajitas. While most of it was decent, the steak was TOUGH and had zero flavor. I literally had two bites and had to spit both out because I couldn't get through one bite. She did mention "wow usually it tastes a lot better." Her boyfriend seemed to echo the same point, WTH was up with the food. As for my meal, I tried the Enchiladas Bandera's. I thought it was ok. I liked having three options on one plate but I noticed all the sauces weren't very flavorful. I know being a former chef can taint my view, but most want to taste that "authentic Mexican" in every bite. I will say that the chicken and beef were cooked right and juicy and I liked the corn tortillas. I believe if the sauces had more "life" this would have been gone from an ok dish to an absolute winner. I'll say I was very pleased to have lettuce with sour cream and guac to round out a personalized tasting of each enchilada. Overall, I didn't come away with a great experience at Cancun. While the mood was perfect, the heat, and canned sauce flavors with over cooked beef threw off the whole experience. I'll admit I generally like to visit a place more than once just to be sure it wasn't a one-off experience; I don't have that luxury. My final words are if you want Mexican, consider somewhere else.
