We have dogs, but I didn't bring them; I came to ride my bike since Anna H. and other visitors mentioned trails. The dog park looks brand new- fenced, with rolling hills, paved paths, a drinking fountain, etc. Handy to nearby neighborhoods, with a fair-size parking lot too. As a place to ride, well, the dog park isn't one. But you can park there and get on the trail right beside it (Mudsock Trail,) which connects to Franks Park and then on up to the Hilliard Municipal Park, etc. The odd thing is that the trail isn't paved. It is fairly well kept, smooth, and covered in small gravel. Some places are washed out. In other words, it's not for all bikes. Be careful, and wear protective gear (especially kids.) It's a nice trail though, wandering through fields and wetlands. It crosses Roberts at one point so be careful there.

Large dog park with a lot of grass to play in. Pooch loved it and made a few new friends. I spoke with a nice guy who told me about some other dog parks around. Cool spot

I like bringing my dogs to parks and Spindler Road Dog Park is a nice one. It has a wide area for dogs to roam. There are several amenities for dogs and humans. It's around a residential neighborhood so it can get busy. There is also trails so you can get some exercise. It seems to be a lot to do. It's fairly big park. There's sections for big and small dogs. It has a fountain in front including a spigot to fill dog bowls. There's also a trail which connects it to another park. It's the Mudsock Trail, and it connects it to Franks Park which is right up Spindler. Then it goes on to the Hilliard Municipal Park which is a few miles. It may be too much for some dogs. This is better if you're out alone for running or walking. I think Spindler Road Dog Park is one of the better dog parks in Columbus. It's big enough for lots of dogs so you won't have to feel crowded. There's also lots for people including trails.

It's a pretty popular dog park. We've never been here when there weren't dogs for our dog to play with. (Unlike some of the other parks we've visited in the Columbus area.) There's a spigot near the entrances beside the portajohn. Great for a quick rinse off of a muddy dog or for filling up the communal water jugs that you find on both sides of the dog parks.

Lauryn and Evan pour their hearts into this place, and it shows in all the little things. The Barktenders in bright vests greet you and your dog by name, and you can hear them on the radios calling out each pup's arrival and departure, with a secure double gate (both of which have been reinforced, with an added audio signal when the gate is opened) adding peace of mind at the entrance. They don't just stand on the sidelines; they're in the park interacting with the dogs, keeping them engaged and helping redirect energy when play gets a bit too hyped. If a dog needs a break, they're moved to a smaller enclosed area to reset and calm down with a Barktender sitting right next to them. The park itself is spotless and thoughtfully set up: faux grass so no one goes home muddy, play areas free from poop thanks to constant cleanup and respectful members, fresh water always available, a long leash wall right when you walk in, and seating placed so you have clear sight lines to your dog from every angle. There are trash and compost bins exactly where you expect them, plus a semi-enclosed heated area so humans can warm up while the dogs keep running. Every visit wraps up with a complimentary pup cup, and yes--your dog will quickly figure out that this is part of the Bumble's ritual. On top of the basics, Bumble's goes all in on community: dog birthday parties, person-and-pup yoga, book clubs, "Fetch Night," and OSU Buckeye "tailgate" events make it easy to stick around and actually enjoy being there. What really sold me was our first visit. Before we entered the main park, a Barktender invited us into a smaller area for temperament testing and spent about 10 minutes walking me through how everything works--where the bags, trash cans, and hoses are, and how the community rules keep the park friendly, safe, and incredibly clean. It genuinely feels like a responsible, caring community built for dog lovers who expect more. We keep coming back because Lauryn, Evan, and the whole Bumble's team make us feel like we're part of something special (more than anyone I've ever met - they truly care about dogs) --and that "something" is really, really good.

One of our dogs does great with other people but not so hot with other dogs. Because of this she never gets to go to a dog park. This was her first time being able to run free in a larger than yard size area and she loved it! It has a nice shelter house to keep you out of the sun. The pond edges are shallow enough the dogs can wade in and you can stand in the water as well. You bring your own poop bags and chairs and toys but there were lots of balls scattered around. I highly recommend!!

I have two girls and one is dog reactive and the other has a noisy play style so traditional dog parks aren't an option for us. Mutt's is a private dog park that you pay for by the hour to have the entire place to yourself. I couldn't believe it when I heard it! It is $10/hr per dog and you have the entire place to yourself. There's a pond, a paddle boat, a little shelter area for shade, an agility course, a human bathroom (porta pot), and all the space needed to run your dog ragged. The park owner is quick to respond when booking and always has poop bags, water, and toys for the pups. We always take our own, but it's nice to know he has some as well. You can book longer than an hour at a time, but our girls go hard quick so an hour is sufficient. The only down side is that we live in downtown Columbus and it's on the north side of Delaware so it's about 45 mins one way. But it really is worth it!

There are several parking lots available throughout the park, such as near the athletic complex and another by the playground, which is also the location of a trailhead. We were interested in going for a hike, so we were looking for the trails. It would be helpful if a map and/or signage was available - we had to go off of pictures and maps posted on non-official sites and still had some fun adventures trying to figure it out. The trails never went far enough away from a road or buildings to be concerned that we'd actually get lost, so we were comfortable exploring. There is one wide, short trail that is what is now a fenced maintenance area. The trail goes through a grassy area and lets you get down near the stream and look around. It was nice until it dumped us out on the other side of the maintenance area with no clear direction on how to get around it and back to the beginning of the loop, despite being able to see it. We were, however, able to see another trail going through the woods from there, so once we managed to get back we decided to check out part of the wooded trail, which seemed quite a bit longer than the grassy trail. It had a lot of neat features like cute bridges, large stones functioning as steps, and the like. It was a very nice area. We eventually hopped off at the trailhead that we discovered is located by the playground. I'd love to go back and explore more of the woods - it looks like (from a trails website) there's actually 2.7 miles back there.
