Shari and I went to Spinnaker Cafe for Breakfast. It's a great Homey Roadside Diner full of Florida locals! It's a jewel! There is a long counter w metal bar stools and booths w a second room with tables! They are open early morning until about 2pm! It's a Breakfast Brunch and Lunch location! Shari ordered Chipped Beef over Toast w a side of Home Fried Potatoes and a sweet tea! I ordered Poached Eggs Florentine w Benedict sauce Spinach & tomatoes w a side of sliced tomatoes.. W unsweetened tea and a glass of water w lemon! The service was outstanding! Not only one waitress but 3 different servers checked on us! The food was amazing! Definitely recommend and would eat here again! 5 stars definitely!!

Biscuits and gravy. Presentation maybe off, but flavor is flaving!

Very good food, and very lovely people! I've been multiple times with my partner, and I've always had a great experience. I typically get the biscuits and gravy, and they always come out perfect!

After driving by here numerous times, had never noticed it until a friend who was a frequent diner at the Spinnaker Cafe for many years, suggested we stop here for breakfast. Obviously popular with locals who appreciate the bright, clean ambience, excellent service and belt-busting portions, all served with a smile at a reasonable price. Was told their delicious, coffee is brewed from in-house grinder and our cups were never empty. Will certainly make a point of stopping here again when in Englewood.

You can tell this is a well loved local spot as you walk in. There is a true diner feel and a welcoming atmosphere. There were specials on the board that were tempting, but I went with the garden skillet. I'm glad I did, the eggs were cooked perfectly (soft poached as I ordered) and the potatoes were somehow still crispy under the veggies and eggs. Our server (and everyone working, really) made sure we had what we needed and that we enjoyed our breakfast time with them.

two eggs over, easy seated, rye toast, great home, fries, and new sausage with a great flavor

I don't give many reviews unless they are excellent, and this is a five star. I've been coming here a few years, but haven't been here in probably two years. Excellent. two eggs, real seeded rye toast, home fries were excellent, and the new sausage links have a tremendous taste. I wish it was closer to me. Great value also by the way.

Good place for breakfast. Consistent every time. Their bakery is dangerous, caution you'll get fat lol.

My wife chose the chicken salad wrap with the homemade chips. She loved it. Chips were not salted. I ordered the Ken & barb burger medium , with potato salad. It was ok juicy, greasy, flavorless same with the potato salad. We will try it again for dinner but not impressed. $47 with tip 2 sodas no dessert.

As vegetarians there were ZERO options on the limited menu. The server was super sweet and let us check out the buffet before deciding to stay or not. All the sides were vegetarian and the price of 24.99 each wasn't too bad, so we stayed. The buffet included ham, turkey, fried flounder as the mains, with sides of mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, carrots, mixes veggies, Mac and cheese, rolls, corn bread, coleslaw, and roasted potatoes. It also included a small salad bar and about 4 dessert options. There was also Easter candy scattered on the table and plastic eggs to open with treats inside-- making the lunch extra fun! As adults we never get to open easter eggs! We also enjoyed the live music. Five stars, but subtracted one for the lack of true vegetarian options with the limited menu. Thanks for making our day special!

We asked to be sat inside (a nice break from the 93 degree temperature outside) and were led right to our table. Our server approached us immediately, asking for our drink order, but with their specials at the bar, we decided to walk up to the bar and get our own drinks. The restaurant was clean and was actually humming productively. Food was being run, tables were being cleaned, drinks were being served. Two of us opted for their version of a Grouper Reuben that they call the "Rocket"! DELICIOUS DELICIOUS DELICIOUS!!! Even the fries were hot and salted perfectly!! This sandwich IS CRAVE WORTHY! Our other party member ordered a Turkey/Bacon/Brie sandwich with fries that we were told was also outstanding! Not much else to say, we had an excellent experience and all I can say is great job by THE ENTIRE STAFF INCLUDING MANAGEMENT!

Wow... He was condescending, rude and obnoxious while insulting customers, dropping f-bombs and ignoring customers with his selective hearing. Sometimes you must make a change for the betterment of the company and for the customer. Loyalty has its limits and customer experience should dictate your response, not blind loyalty....
