If I could give 1 million times 1 star, I would do it!) If I could help every person in this world give Spirit Airlines 1 star, I would volunteer to do it. Daylight robbery! At first they sell cheap tickets, but then come endless hidden fees, rude service, and unfair treatment. I was on flight #2343 from Orlando to Chicago, gate 8. Before boarding, they announced they needed volunteers to leave the plane with a $700 offer including hotel, but no one volunteered. Since I was in the last boarding group (Group 5), they targeted me -- it felt like they wanted to kick me out of the plane just because I was last group. At the gate, Mrs. Jennifer suddenly made a huge problem. She told me I could only bring one bag. I had just 1 small handbag and 1 small carry-on, but she forced me to combine everything into one. Then she made me check the size and demanded my credit card to charge $99 for one bag. Another staff member even asked her, "Did you charge her yet?" Then they threatened us, saying we had only 2 minutes or they would not let us on the plane. This felt like racist discrimination, because my sister (also Asian) was forced to do the same thing. Worst airline ever. I will never fly Spirit again.

Crazy waits for baggage at Spirit airlines, O'Hare.

Just flew through Omaha again and it reminded me why we actually enjoy using this airport. While…read morethere is currently some construction going on, it still manages to feel small, efficient, and easy to navigate compared to many larger airports. Getting in and out is straightforward, parking is convenient, and the shuttle service to the terminal is quick and painless. We never feel like we need to arrive ridiculously early just to survive the experience. Inside the terminal there are enough food and drink options to grab a snack, relax for a bit, or enjoy the obligatory pre-flight cocktail before boarding. Seating areas are comfortable and the overall atmosphere feels much less chaotic than many major hubs. TSA has consistently been friendly during our trips, and security lines move surprisingly fast, which definitely helps take some of the stress out of traveling. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is mainly because the airport is showing its age in certain areas and the ongoing construction can make parts of the experience feel a little less polished right now. That said, the convenience factor is hard to beat. For travelers in the Omaha area, this is one of those airports that simply gets the job done without turning travel day into a headache. We fly through here often and will gladly continue to do so.

Noted from previous flights, I downloaded the JetBlue mobile application which provided me with…read moreleeway prior to my arrival to the airport. As someone who had just a carry-on bag with me, the application allowed me to check-in early and head straight to TSA rather than having to see a JetBlue agent. I read several JetBlue reviews via yelp prior to this flight to help calm pre-flight jitters because I have never flown with JetBlue. I had to remind myself that I once flew with Spirit Airlines to New Orleans, Louisiana for crying out loud. And most know that Spirit does not have the best reputation. As for my airport experience, surprisingly, TSA was not crowded at all! Other than my carry-on bag being checked due to me having toothpaste check-in went smooth. At the time, I chuckled with personnel because I knew clearly what it was but leave it to hard-headed me for packing it, hehe. As for the flight gate, it took me forever to find it due to lack of signage. As mentioned, I have never flown JetBlue, so the terminal was one I had never visited. What threw me off was the fact that the only terminal 2 signage I saw was for baggage claim. Eeek! I nearly missed boarding, but I kept on moving until I found the JetBlue gate. Now as for my onboard experience, I wanted to charge my phone as I slept on flight because my phone battery was low. I found that there were no power outlets at all which left me with no other option but to preserve my battery as much as I can enroute. I have to point out that it was unpleasant smelling smoke as the plane prepared to lift off from Chicago, Illinois. It was then, I started to take notice of how outdated everything appeared on this plane as my melatonin kicked in. I slept the majority of the flight, so I had little communication with the flight attendants other than the boarding flight hello, a flight attendant asking me if I wanted a snack as I woke up briefly, and the airplane departure goodbye greeting. And as for the airplane interior, the seat comfort was decent! I did have an acceptable amount of leg room, even with my backpack underneath the seat in front of me. I did love the image of the airplane hovering over states on the seatback television which I could not help but notice while awake. In spite of what the plane did not have, it did have access to XM radio stations & Direct TV channels. I survived this flight with JetBlue and would be open to flying with again, as well as recommending to a friend, relative or colleague after this experience. First time using them they hung us out to dry giving us no options within 24 hours to even get home. We lost over $1000 and they didn't do a thing to help after making us suffer for 6 hours from 1:00 in the morning to now 7:30 in the morning because they probably have 2 total (incompetent) reps. 5 stars for United Airlines…read more This is my favorite airline of all time to take anywhere honestly. The screens on the back of the seats are great, and it's so cool that you can watch TV/Movies and in flight navigation is very neat to follow the plan as you fly. I've never really had big delays/flight time changes/cancellations with them or customer service issues - so I'll always fly them if the price and time is the best.

Made me, my…read moredaughter, and her 9 month old baby run through Chicago airport (which was a 16 minute walk to the gate from which we got off) to meet our connecting flight to which ended boarding and left us and ten other people stranded there. When I called the representative rebooked me for a flight already boarding and me not knowing it was a twenty minute walk (for which we ran again) from the gate we were currently at so guessss what we missed that one too. My checked bag however made it to the first flight and was sent to Syracuse airport without me. After the second missed flight I was told that I had to wait for a flight in the morning. Hellllll nooo am I staying in Chicago and paying for a hotel to comeback to this shithole again in the morning. I was never, by any rep or agent, offered compensation to stay anywhere or food. We had not eaten or had a drink due to the running and trying to get home. So in a panic and in tears I went to American Airlines as my last hope. They were able to get me on their 8:30pm flight back to Syracuse. When I got to Syracuse I could not find my bag. Mentally and physically exhausted I made the drive home (1.5 hours) and was home at 1am. Now my bag supposedly made it to the airport before I did so they are saying American Airlines is responsible for any compensation because they were MY final carrier. They never touched my bag?! How does that make sense? I bought a ticket for American after my bag had already left on YOUR aircraft! Now they are trying to tell me I have to go back to the airport to get it and won't have it delivered to my house or nearby airport?! Crazy! They have no interest in making customers happy and no one was helpful or seemed like they cared. Never again United! Never again!
