Once you get over the spookiness of Party City (it somehow reminds me of a zombie apocalypse?) you can really make use of this silly place. As an event planner, I can generally rely on Party City to have many of the bits & bobs I need to add razzle dazzle to my events. Pink cowboy hat? Check. Gift bags in every color of the rainbow? Check. Plastic table cloths? Check. Balloons? Check. Let's talk about the balloons in particular, though. There are a few balloon options: 1 - Buy a package of balloons & have them fill them up behind the counter. They charge a filling fee. 2 - Bring in your own balloons & have them fill them up behind the counter. They charge a filling fee. 3 - Buy a package of balloons & fill it up elsewhere. You can buy a portable helium tank & fill them up at home, if you'd like. 4 - Buy one of their fancy balloons behind the counter & they'll fill it up. The cost of filling is included in the fancy balloon's price. I've tried every single on of these options. Recently, I indulged in #4 & it was ... not worth it. My big, shiny, fancy rainbow balloon made it 30 seconds out of the store until the wind ripped it off the ribbon it was (not so) secured to & it absconded into the sky. I had to laugh. Okay, anyways. 2nd year renting from this company and getting broken equipment. I would never rent from them…read moreagain and would not recommend them. This last year we rented the largest slip & slide they had. Within 5 minutes after it was installed it, it completely collapsed. One of the 2 fans that power it was broken and it took them a few hours to come back and fix it. And it was dirty and had a dead frog in the slide! Because they had the largest slide rental we gave them another shot. This year 3 of the stairs were ripped and you could not get up the stair cave. It was covered in grass and mud! It was also leaking water from the top where they attached the hose. We are currently trying to fix it because their repair guy is away and won't be back till next week to fix it. They did not have a comparable slide to replace it so we have to keep it as is, and were only offered a $50 discount for a $1000 slip & slide!

USPS could get the gift delivered even though it was sent a week earlier. Joey arranged to have Scott come to our daughter's 25th birthday celebration at a local pub. Scott did an OUTSTANDING job making sure everything was coordinated as we live in Florida and were not onsite. If I am being honest, I doubt you "spoke" to those grossly immature girls (who should not work there at all) other than to be glad my family left. Twenty years of purchasing from you is a long time to smugly have disdain and shittiness be your go-to response to my family. You have had some wonderful employees that have been helpful and understand how to interact with a restless child and their family. But how you allowed my family to feel in your store yesterday, means we will NOT return. Even the girl who claimed she does ballet- as I asked about dance booties, didn't appear to know anything other than how to feel inconvenienced and unable to be bothered with families she considers beneath her. They do have a sale rack that has some stuff depending on the size. They also usually have groupons that are discounted by a few dollars or more that you can purchase at the discounted rate on Groupon and redeem for your purchase.
