For instance, we had an extension cord hidden behind the bed for our lights; after moving it, they took the initiative to plug everything back in without us having to ask. That level of care is rare and greatly appreciated. Equally noteworthy were Becki and Lindsay, whose professionalism, communication, and dedication to ensuring the project exceeded expectations were truly exceptional.

I do not recommend this company for house painting. I had numerous challenges working with them,…read moreprimarily due to the inexperience and lack of professional from junior project management, no bilingual staff present during painting, having to supervise my own house painting when no staff were onsite, unskilled subcontracted painters, and as of 7 weeks after "completion," NOT RECEIVING AGREED UPON REFUND OF $1300. I had my house painted ONE COLOR - WHITE - with doors and shutters painted black. What should have been a very straightforward painting job focused on complete coverage of my 50's Weeping Mortar style home, turned out to be an exercise in me having to supervise their painters because KHP supervisor was not on site and then argued and gaslit me about the poor work their sub-sub contractors had done. My rental house took four passes to get the initial painting completed, cleaned up, and decent. First pass in October. Somehow the junior PM missed that the front of the house was painted matte white, and the side and back of house were painted satin white. I emailed them to complain that the entire back of house was noticeably under-painted; that the "new" downspouts were a rainbow of blue, beige, and brown that had been poorly painted white; significant over-spray on the chimney, visible from the street, as well as paint on the ground and grass around my house. Their reply was "Weeping mortar is so hard!" We scheduled touch ups and to complete the front porch in May. I scheduled to be at the house for two weeks and communicated this to the junior project manager and sales rep several weeks ahead of time. In the meantime the same junior project manager texted me repeatedly to get the interior of my house on their schedule. I repeatedly told her that it wasn't ready yet. Upon meeting the project manager at the home, she noticed that the house was satin in the back, and matte in the front. They suggested a full repaint of matte all around as contracted. They said the work needed would only take one day, maybe two. The house was painted AGAIN. And as expected from the previous work, the newly painted front porch still did not have enough paint after the first pass. I said it needed another coat, only to have this same junior project manager argue with me about how "they won't do that." I showed her where there was incomplete painting, missed areas, and she gaslit me stating there was no way her best painter (and his very junior, teenage sub contractors) could have missed the weeping mortar this time. Then to pivot, she insisted that they could complete the work and touch ups including repainting the front porch after I was supposed to leave town. I said I would change my plans to stay until the work was finished. I booked a new hotel, extended my rental car, paid my cat sitter extra and met the team on site that Monday. This cost me and extra $1000. Oddly enough the junior project manager had the day off, and the "best painter" was a no show. Instead, it was me and their teenage junior painter using Google Translate to communicate what he was supposed to do. Consistent with the work done so far, this junior painter tried to finish this job with little skills and supervision, with me on his back to show him how to properly touch up wood with a brush. I had to direct him to not paint over my brass hinges, to prime my front door before applying light orange over dark red, and not use a roller on the exterior of my front door. After some back and forth via Google Translate, he called his supervisor, who arrived in an angry state and proceeded to ignore me, then mock me about my basic requests, angrily tore down the just masked front door, and left in a huff. I spoke to the missing junior project manager over the phone, and she again gaslit me for criticizing her very prideful sub... who wasn't present to paint and had instead hired a teenager to do the work alone. I could go on, but there is not enough room to write. They owe me a refund, and don't seem too interested. DO NOT USE THEM.

Now it is mostly eateries, some are excellent, but this shop is at a section that has some old classic retail, like Neptune Mountaineering and the yarn shop, Shuttles Spindles and Skeins and is just below them and just east of King Soopers. It's worth the trip. Though there are many scented items in the store it did not bother me, not overpowering or particularly artificial like some gift shops. The collection is very traditional, a somewhat elegant collection, some items more unique than others. Several items I have seen here and there around Boulder, from Peppercorn to McGuckins, especially holiday themed ones. But it was a pleasure to look for and find gifts for that hard to choose for recipient all in one place. I was welcomed and helped with selection of ideas. Not a busy place when I was in, and was appropriately staffed.

DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I don't even know where to begin with this review, as I have never…read moreexperienced such terrible service or dealt with such a shady company. I started my holiday planning early and called them in early October to get a bid on putting lights on my house and a large tree. The guy who came, Dominic, said he could make the tree look spectacular. He told me to buy 4,000 ft of lights and said I'd also be charged for a boom lift to reach the tree. I agreed and was excited. I ordered over $2,000 in lights, paid $100 an hour for labor and paid $250 for the boom lift. They ended up using only ONE box of lights out of the SEVEN I had. When I saw the tree, I could not believe It. It looks like a joke. I called Dominic expressing my disappointment. He said he'd talk to his boss and get back to me. He never did. I talked to the office, sent them pics of this ridiculous tree, and they promised they'd send a crew out at the end of the week to make things right and do the tree how they had initially promised. I decided to give them a chance to redeem themselves, so I waited. Needless to say, they didn't fix It. The installer called right before my appointment time and said they didn't have a boom lift, but would try to get the lights as high as possible BY STANDING ON A TRUCK, but most of the lights would be on the bottom of the tree. So now I am left with thousands of dollars in lights, I'm too late to get on anyone else's schedule, and my tree looks ridiculous. I'm also out hundreds of dollars I spent on the boom lift that didn't get used and several hours in labor they charged me to throw up a few strands of lights. This is by far the worst experience I've had with any company I've ever hired for anything.

I was told they would have an estimator out within 24 hours and an email sent to me within the same time period with a possibility of working being completed within 36 hours. None of this has happened. It's been a week and a half. Because of the nature of my job I barely have time to fret over something that was promised to be done. Now it's too late for me to justify spending $2,000-$4,000 and putting in a solid second effort to get someone to want my business. I'm severely disappointed as the ratings were so good next year I'll try someone else.

I have never been in these sort of seasonal costume and decor pop up stores before but I was on…read morethe hunt for a shark fin hat for a Halloween event and thought it might be a good option. I was in the neighborhood so I stopped in. It is open but still stocking, a large semi truck in front still unloading. Staff was friendly and working hard at unpacking. They had not seen anything shark related but I looked through anyway as suggested. Mostly what I saw was very commercial tie-in to media topics, games, movies and tv show characters. Nicely packaged and displayed. Moderate prices, but more than I would have paid back in the day for my kids' costumes. We were more of make it ourselves types. But this is what I see as common for parties and trick or treating these days so it's a viable option for common requests and one stop shopping. I will also mention that there are costumes grouped together for the very young set, kitties. ballerinas, cowboys and bunnies and the like. And also, a good selection of adult costumes for parties, and priced accordingly. I did eventually locate what I was looking for at my good old standby, Target.

Like... so... kind of creepy or just plain gross, plastic smell and weird semi sexual costumes that make most of us both turned on and repulsed simultaneously. Plastic axes with a sharp seam that shows where the two pieces came together in production. Rubbish. But also a sense of fun and the true joy of what Halloween really is. An opportunity to be both trashy and child like. Wow. Aren't we lucky to live in a country where we can have a place like this to throw our anger and fear at? I'm stoked there is a pop up store that sells nurse outfits where if the nurse actually wore that, you ask for a different unit because she's not taking the job seriously. No judgement, it's just your body and you deserve the best. Anyway, Happy Halloween everyone. Cherish this place.
