Columbus Pool Works responded with a very accurate estimate to restore the pool. In only three visits they balanced the chemicals in the pool and installed a new port on my Hayward filter. Shane C. and his assistant were punctual (informing me of their approach to the property), knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient. My pool opened June 23 and I couldn't be more pleased. They were more than helpful help figure out my problem. You just don't see that kind of customer service these days. I was very impressed with their knowledge and service. He helped troubleshoot the issue by phone. AND it was past their closing time. Unfortunately, I purchased my tub from a company in Columbus. They sent a tech (in the loosest since of the word.) and charged me almost $700 to come and check it out. they replaced a fuse and off they went. Needless to say, a huge waste of money. When the pool is having issues such as discolor or any other issues, AAA S & P can advise on what needs to be done to correct the problem. I had several issues that were one after another. None of the ongoing issues were due to anything AAA did or didn't do. My hot tub is a few years older and has been moved to my current home which contributed to the issues I had along with normal wear and tear and the prior company not fixing the original problem correctly. My ongoing issues came within hours to days after the prior repairs but AAA Spa and Pool Service were always professional and responsive to me and getting my hot tub taken care of before the cold weather hit which can make fixing a hot tub outside the home difficult or almost impossible till warmer weather. They won't issue a refund because its a special order! Excuse me it is a standard pool that you order all the time Im not sure how that is a special order. This is not the service you should be getting when paying $100k for something. You have other options when having a pool built. Don't allow the facade of "40+ years experience" and "professional integrity" fool you like it did me. Dan/Joe, I am writing to express our continued frustration and disappointment with Sunburst Pools' repeated failure to fulfill its contractual obligations in a timely and professional manner. When we signed the contract on May 30th, we were told that the pool would be ordered by June 2nd, shipped within a week, and that installation would begin promptly. We were further assured that, weather permitting, the installation would be completed within 7-10 days. Unfortunately, the repeated delays and miscommunication have been unacceptable. Despite multiple reassurances from both of you -- citing weather, staffing shortages, and "catching up" on previous work -- we continued to experience delays. We were told we'd be next on the list, with installation beginning within 1-1.5 days, but it wasn't until August 11th that the pool installers finally arrived. I spoke with Dan last Wednesday and was given yet another misleading completion date of one week. We are now in the third week of installation, and the crew is still working on the vermiculite bottom, with several more days of work ahead. We have communicated our dissatisfaction with the ongoing delays and lack of progress. Regardless of the reasons provided, we are no longer willing to accept any further delays. We are granting access to our property until September 5th, 2025, for completion of the project. Should Sunburst Pools fail to fulfill its obligations by this date, we will seek legal counsel to resolve the matter. Please consider this our final notice, and we expect immediate action to complete the installation within the stated timeframe. Sincerely, Matt Leonard
