This was the first time I went there. I got the regular wash. Everyone seemed friendly enough, but the car wash and vacuuming was marginal. I paid $22.50 for a Wheel Express car wash, only to discover when I got back to my office, that they never vacuumed my trunk. I even emptied it before I went there to make it easier for them to vacuum. When I went back to have them re-vacuum, the attendant said it was my responsibility to tell them I wanted the trunk vacuumed......HELLO? If I didn't open up all four doors of my car, would they not vacuum that too? I tried to nicely and politely explain to the attendant that he is in the customer service business. So not only was he wrong about them neglecting to vacuum my whole car without my having to ASK, but he actually argued with me about it. Customer is always right, sir! They never even opened the back of my SUV. If they had, they would have seen that it was empty. And where were the guys who opened the back while cleaning the back windows? They should have noticed that there was some gardening debris back there from plants. Nobody was quality control checking. But my main complaint is ......don't argue with me, the customer, especially when we are paying high prices for a car wash, AND I was right in voicing my complaint. We were there yesterday afternoon with my girlfriend and since they usually do a pretty good job We decided to try this location, unfortunately there is no management and the works don't know how to properly and safely wash and clean a car, Pay attention to the people Hand Drying your ca, 3 of the employees had keys dangling on the pants, another one jeans with zippers all over and while doinr their job, rubbing agains the car, my girlfriends car had scratches all over thanks to them, We asked the cashier to stop the work and proceed to leave. The car was badly detailed, barely washed, not worth it paying $30-$40 when instead of leaving with a car nicely clean, you leave with your car full of scratches due to not paying attention and letting the employees work with keys ad objects that can damage the paint. read more

I'm a nurse on a tight budget. Only wanted basic wash. Guy at front tries to up sell me . I decline . Says he's going to fix me up with a golden ticket. He scratches and tells me I won a free upgrade. I tell him I'm going to put 10$ in the tip box. He says no I can tip him directly. I give him a 10$. Go inside to pay and shocked to find out some BS free upgrade when you buy the expensive package. Overheard same BS to customer after me. 65$ for a wash and they did not even vacuum trunk. Supervisor was ignorant and had a bad attitude. I refuse to return just because of him. Everyone else was nice and pleasant. The car wash exterior was good, but the interior was terrible. I hopped in back and borrowed their vacuum since they did such a poor job. Next my interior windows weren't even wiped at all. To preface this review,I usually detail my own cars. Due to recent knee surgery I was not able to do it myself this time. Their "Express detail" for $95 was not worth it. They did get it clean but a 30 minute detail means to me the windows,wheels and headlights are spotless they were not. The car comes out looking great, most of the time. Sometime they leave some water marks that you have to ask them to take care of before you leave. Also, a bit pricey $22 for an exterior wash with wheel shine is up there. The "windshield expert" they have walking around is also super annoying. He does not stop talking even after he's told five times over that someone doesn't want his services. He wasn't even talking to me and he annoyed me! I paid over $30.00 plus for "the works" hand wash. After the car was finished there was still bird poo on the front bumper, the center console did not appear to be dusted, streaks on all the windows and the rims still had dirt stains. Disappointed is an understatement. I will not return to this location and will take my business elsewhere. UPDATE: The manager, Billy, reached out and offered to wash and detail my car in attempt to rectify the service I received. There are no complaints this time around. Had an interior and exterior cleaning done on Tuesday January 2nd , with the cleaning of 4 mats. The exterior of the car was clean but they did a terrible job on the interior. Drivers mat did not look clean. The interior windshield right in front of the driver had smear marks from what was probably a dirty rag, which obscured my vision. They did not clean the cup holders AT ALL. The dusting was poorly done. the car still looked dusty. read more

I paid for the full car wash - about $20 with tax and I got my car and they vacuumed and washed the exterior but not a single inside spot was touched, the center console, the front dashboard area (radio, mileage, steering wheel) When I got back into my car I noticed the center console and asked if I could use a rag, it looks like they missed some spots and one of the attendants said I had to pay extra to clean the console and dashboard (EXTRA??) so I said ok, but he was nice enough to sit in the car and clean out the center area...until I got back into my car and it was still dirty and nothing was touched on the front dashboard. What a rip off! Should have read the reviews before I spent money at splash. Paid for the $17.99 wash, clean windows and vacuum. REALLY POOR QUALITY SERVICE. The automatic car wash did not get all the dirt off my car, my car was spot dried with towels at best, they attempted to vacuum....and even upon my request to have them vacuum a second time, the guy did a poor job. Still had crumbs and a few Legos on the carpet. They also failed to clean the inside of my windows. I only noticed this after driving away and seeing that my kids' handprints were still all over the inside of the windows. (And I didn't have kids in the car at the time). Terrible! As a long time user of this Splash Hand Wash today was the day that I finally said I will not be going back. As the resent weather has drawn a lot of salt onto my car I decided to go and get my car washed. As they brought my car out front I noticed several inexperienced employees being trained and I watched closely as they were under little guidance, sub par to the workers I was used to. As they finally finished up after a long 45 minute wait I closely examine my car as I always do after a car wash and noticed a large amount of small scratches all around my car. I immediately mentioned something to an employee to get their manager. The manager on duty is named Billy Lozada who was polite enough to take an incident report from me but was unreasonable when it came to comprehending how the scratches came to be. I look forward to speaking with the corporate office and getting a quote from a reputable paint specialist who can repair this damage done to my new car. As a member of a large car community at Sacred Heart I will strongly be encouraging no one else to go here until there are better experienced workers and the damage done to my car has been paid for. Every time I leave this place my car looks brand new. And I bring it on fairly dirty. They are all very friendly and do a very thorough job. Camilo is always friendly and helps me decide what services I need for the car that day. I never leave reviews on here but felt this was necessary. I have had nothing but problems with this car wash. They never do a good job and always try and sell you on extras. They have stolen from my car and my fiances car a total of at least $100 worth of merchandise we just purchased while shopping. They also will steal your change as others have said. They will tell you that you are getting a great deal and end up doing a horrible job that isn't worth half of what you pay. They send coupons for express details once in a while. These details clearly state on their website that they include a car wash. When you get there with the coupon they will try and tell you that you need to pay for the car wash seperately because it is not included. They have done this multiple times and it is their way to try and steal from customers. Once they try and scam you they will once again try and tell you how great of a deal you are getting even if you pay for the wash on top of the price of the service. I didn't know a 20 minute horrible job is such a great deal at $50+. I will never be going here again and will spread the word to everyone I know. read more

Personally one of the worst car washes I have ever received! I purchased the "works" car wash after inquiring in regards to best value upon arrival at car wash. This cost me a little over $38.00 plus before returning to my car left $5.00 tip for the workers. So now I just spent $43.00 on a car wash. Once arriving at my car the back still had dirt marks that were not removed. Went to get into my car and it did not look like it was vacuumed at all!!! Questioned this and was referred to the manager who told me that "vacuuming does not remove sand" but I could bring the car around again and they could try??? I said what would be the point of doing that if you just told me that it wouldn't do anything. The inside console didn't look wiped down. The mats which I paid an extra $4.00 for were left wet and thrown over the sandy carpet which was not vacuumed. The tire rim had a glaze wiped over it but the dirt was still on the rims!!To say I was angry and feeling like I was totally ripped off would be an understatement! Thus on my way home I called the car wash and spoke with a nice lady at reception who put me in contact with the manager who unfortunately had told me that the sand would not come out initially and proceeded to say that he has been doing this for eight years???? That I would need to have it detailed for that. So I asked why would they say they could vacuum my car then.???There was stray pieces of dirt in the trunk that also was not vacuumed! He was rude and not helpful!!! He asked what I wanted and I told him a refund of my money-not an option I guess!! So Please wash your car yourself rather than wasting your money on service from Splash!!!! If I can prevent another person from feeling ripped off afterwards I will feel a little better!! read more

Went to have my car washed (spent almost $30) and specifically asked the first guy when you drive in to make sure the inside windows are done. Meaning front windshield & back window, he said okay, and he was walking away as I was still talking, very rude. Then when my car was supposedly finished, I asked the guy if the windows were done, all around the edges, including sides, top & bottom, he said they were. Well, guess what the inside windows weren't done properly. When driving and the sun hits the window, you can see the sides, top, & even across the middle of the windows they weren't touched. Think they need to apply more than one quick spray of cleaner and use a little more effort and clean towels when doing the windows. Especially when the customer requests special attention to the windows. Left a nice tip, but won't return. Very poor customer service & no attention to a customer's request. Don't think my request for clean windows was asking too much. Actually, you shouldn't even have to ask for that, should be included. read more

I'm not sure what everyone else is talking about with their reviews but this is by far the best splash car wash I've ever been to! I live in Stamford CT and would never go back to the Stamford splash after the horrendous job they did. I drive all the way to Fairfield to go to this splash. The manager Anthony is wonderful! He's accommodating, polite and dedicated. Not only was he lovely to his customers but he was lovely to his staff which was really refreshing to see. He checked every car that was leaving to make sure it was acceptable and up to par. I also noticed that others obviously have as good of an experience that I do, when there were countless people that came in that knew Anthony by name just as he knew them by name. Because I travel so far for their remarkable work I always get my car detailed so I'm their for a while and have lots of time to see how personable the entire staff is. Chantel, the cashier always has a smile on her face no matter what and is so kind to everyone. As someone who is in the customer service business, I pay close attention to all these details. I highly recommend Splash in Fairfield. While you there be sure to introduce yourself to Anthony so he's sure to remember you for your next visit! read more
