Never had trouble here before. But now I got an oil change today and my car is showing low oil pressure. It wasn't doing it before the oil change. They always did a good job before, but this time they even had trouble opening the hood. I'll have to investigate further. It's late on a Saturday, too late to do anything and I work late during the week. Hopefully my car won't break down. Update: the car stalled and started getting noisy. I checked the oil and there was none. It apparently all leaked out. The car was fine before the oil change. I had the car towed back to Splash and will be going there in the morning. Update: I went down the next morning and spoke with Elmer, the manager of the store that was on duty at the time and he took it into the bay immediately and found the problem was that the technician who did the oil change did not seat oil filter correctly so the oil was spraying out. He refunded me the price of the oil change and he's also asking me to provide the paperwork from the towing so that he could refund that cost. So everything worked out in the end and they have my faith back. read more

I have an unlimited car wash package with West Haven as my home location. I came to this location to find an attendant who barely spoke English. With my "the works" package they hand brush the tires and car first. I heard a lot of clutter of the wood hitting the vehicle, Strike 1. I went through the wash and the machines were so strong and tight down the track that my mirrors came off the hinges, Strike 2. When exiting the wash there were no spots available because people who did not even receive washes were shirtless hanging out in the lot taking up space, Strike 3. Will not come back to this location ever again and I suggest you don't either. read more

The main reason I like this place is because of the unlimited car wash option. You pay one monthly fee and then you are able to come once a day and get your car washed. Always keep a clean fresh car. I used to go to their competition because they offered unlimited washes but since they stopped I switched over to Splash and I am very happy with their service. They also have free vacuum service but the one drawback is that you have to do it yourself but at the end of the day my rugs don't get too dirty so once a week or as needed is not a bad deal. By the way the employees are always quick and good. I think the longest I have had to wait to get my car washed has been maybe 15 minutes, not a big deal. They get you in and out quickly. read more

I have been to coin-op wash it yourself car washes better than this! First off, it is not in the greatest of areas. Second, I don't think they use any soap and third, there was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan heckling me! Back to the actual wash. I got the middle of the road wash, 2 guys had brushes and looked like they were cleaning the car. When I got out, I made a left to vacuum the car. I thought the drying guy was going to dry it, but no. I guess your choice is free wash or hand dry. I grabbed a towel and started drying. That is when I noticed the whole front was filthy and the sides not much better. As I pretty much polished the entire car with the towel, I decided not to complain and and not run through again. Do yourself a favor, buy some waterless car wash and a rag and do it yourself. You'll get a better wash! read more

I needed an oil change. I pulled in and they do the oil change while you are sitting in the car. It's different. They have TV's for you to watch while sitting in your car. The price is cheap for 20.00 for the basic. The car wash connected to this place seemed pretty busy so I think they'd be good. The oil change place always had people coming in so I assumed a good place to get a fast quick oil change. The workers were nice as well. They weren't pushing other service onto me. He said I needed a transmission oil flush and he showed me the oil and how it was black and said its supposed to be pink. So that was nice to ACTUALLY see that the oil for that was black and needed to be changed. At other places you never know if they really change something or just tell you since your not with your car the entire time. I didn't get the trans oil changed, because I want to put the brand of the car's trans oil in there. read more

This place is terrible. They all speak spanish and are rude. When i first rolled in the big guy who takes your credit card was waving me in. I did not move fast enough so he came to my window and yelling could you roll in! I was trying to read the sign and he said what kinda wash do you want. I said please move so i can read the sign. Then he took my card inside. The guy spraying water on tires was yelling move up and put your car in neutral in spanish. I said waiting for my card. He came over to my.open window and almost put his hand in as if he was going to put it in neutral.The big guy comes out and they start their conversation about me in spanish. I didn't want to come here because I was offered a cheaper price somewhere else but Rob was extremely kind and explained to me the advantages of paying a little more money and also told me why it was worth it. My first trip to this car wash was excellent from start to finish. They outlined the detail options and helped choose the best one for my car. The super interior clean made my car spotless and smelling great. Finishing with the works wash made the exterior just as great. They even helped to chip off the sap from my windows. I've been there a couple times when my mechanic is too busy to change my oil and i need it done asap. they are good at doing it fast and efficiently, but they always try pushing for me to change my air filter (which by my mechanic did not need to be changed) and flush my transmission oil. they'll say anything to get you to spend money and are rude when you say no. why give me a dirty look and mumble to each other when i only want the $20 oil change that they advertise? stick to a trustworthy mechanic is my advice. read more

Most places refused to even change the oil in my car because of how difficult it is, but they were able and happy to do it. If there was a 0 star ratting, that's what I would give. I have a membership for this car wash. One of the Splash Car Wash workers at their Bridgeport location took down my debit card information when I purchased a car wash. What started off as a purchase for $7 car wash turned into a $850 and counting (because of overdraft fees) nightmare caused by their associate. When I contacted their office a gentlemen by the name of Chris F. expressed that he would get down to the bottom of this. 2 weeks have passed and still no word from Chris or anyone at Splash. They did not even try to help monetarily so that I don't stay be broke for the rest of the month or until the bank finishing disputing the charges, or even refund my car wash. I guess since they got their $7 out of him, and no company money was stollen, they are just going to ignore the issue away? Very sad business read more
