That plate hit the table with a small side salad, and after the first bite -- BAM -- this thing was excellent. The steak was fresh, tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I kept working through it bite by bite and loved every minute of it. Fantastic steak. Excellent atmosphere. Great service. Nduja is a spicy Calabrian pepper spreadable pork sauce, and oh boy was it so flavorful. If I remembered correctly, Melaleuca spread this sauce on top of a fried bread and eggs. I don't see it on the menu at the moment and it's probably a rotatable dish... but it definitely kicked started my hunt for the sauce. Since this is a spreadable pork, it's not something I could bring back to the US but I was able to find it online back home. The service was amazing and the beverages were delicious. Like many Italian places, the dining room is small and bathroom is a single small room that might require a small wait if they're busy. Didn't get to try their baked goods this last time, but definitely on our list to go back for more when we're back to Florence for a visit.
