Our time was set for 7:30, but we arrived about 15 minutes early and they gladly seated us anyway. Our table was downstairs in the basement area, and let me tell you something... these little Italian restaurants have some of the coolest downstairs dining spaces on the planet. This one may honestly be my favorite I've visited so far. It was cozy, packed full of character, and had that old-world atmosphere that just makes you want to sit back and enjoy the evening. Our waitress was super sweet and incredibly patient with us Americans from the Deep South as we worked through the menu and tried not to butcher the Italian language too badly. Eventually we loaded up our order, but the only thing that really matters is this: I ordered the Filletto di Scottona alla Griglia cooked medium rare... although I'm convinced that's the only way they cook steaks in Italy. That plate hit the table with a small side salad, and after the first bite -- BAM -- this thing was excellent. The steak was fresh, tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I kept working through it bite by bite and loved every minute of it. Fantastic steak. Excellent atmosphere. Great service. The stars must have been aligned today because somehow I hit two 5-star meals in one day, and this one is definitely one of them. I'll absolutely be back eventually.

We found it on Yelp and it got 4 stars. We give it 5!! First of all the atmosphere is cozy and clean. The servers were EXCELLENT!! The menu was in Italian and we couldn't decide. Our server suggested a wild boar with tagliatelle and a white sauce bolognese with pasta. Both were PHENOMENAL with a delicious red wine!! Price was reasonable. We have been overwhelmed by the number of tourists, of which we are as well, but this place was calm with great food!!! Go here!!

With both outside covered seating and ample inside seating, place was busy & happening. We started off with a pleasant house wine, perfectly setting the tone for the meal & we paired it with simple Bruschetta which was fresh and a flavorful start. And for main course got different entrees. Wife got a classic Quattro Stagioni pizza, which was delicious and well-prepared, and i went with their creamy Risotto provola affumicata e zucchine, a rich and savory dish that was truly satisfying, and ordered a side of perfectly cooked potatoes. To call it a night, we indulged in a truly tasty and rich Tiramisu, savoring every bite of it- a perfect end to a wonderful meal. Beyond the excellent food and service, the restaurant itself offered a charming ambiance. I have noticed tarot paintings all over the walls. I-Tarocchi is definitely a spot we'd recommend for a delicious and authentic Florentine dining experience. Not a fancy looking restaurant but food was tasty!

This review is long overdue for our visit back in November of 2024. I was looking up Nduja recipe…read moreand reminded myself this was the place that initiated my love for Nduja sauce. American/Aussie owned bakery brunch spot by the river, such a cute little eatery. We loved our visit and though it's definitely more of a touristy spot, as most customers spoke English, the food was delicious to forgo the tourist trappy vibes. We shared a plate and added some items as we didn't want to get too stuffed on our first day of Florence. We had the Nduja Eggs plate with bacon and avocado added. Nduja is a spicy Calabrian pepper spreadable pork sauce, and oh boy was it so flavorful. If I remembered correctly, Melaleuca spread this sauce on top of a fried bread and eggs. I don't see it on the menu at the moment and it's probably a rotatable dish... but it definitely kicked started my hunt for the sauce. Since this is a spreadable pork, it's not something I could bring back to the US but I was able to find it online back home. The service was amazing and the beverages were delicious. Like many Italian places, the dining room is small and bathroom is a single small room that might require a small wait if they're busy. Didn't get to try their baked goods this last time, but definitely on our list to go back for more when we're back to Florence for a visit.
