Oh where to start.... ugh. I wish I took pictures of this place to really show yelp what it was like. We arrive. It's 30ish dollars per person to get in, not including anything. We paid extra for a cabana. This is a small water park. Everything is outdated and needs to be either deep cleaned or totally replaced. Our cabana had chairs that were completely sunken in. Hardly able to even sit in them. Not very many rides. The lazy river barely moved and had tons of grass in it. The bathrooms were vomit inducing with slimy floors and nasty toilets. I just felt gross the whole day. My mother in law couldn't bring in her medications because they came in glass vials. I couldn't bring my salad in- no outside food inside. But I could buy one for $15....no thanks. The cherry on top of this s--t Sunday was the fact that our group caught someone GOING THOUGH OUR BAGS! That's a whole different story with tons of drama but the man left on his own terms and his family was allowed to stay. I couldn't take long enough shower when I got home. read more

This park is great in that it doesn't have huge crowds like Six Flags. I have taken my younger cousins here, and after about 2 hours, they have gone on every ride at least 2 or 3 times. The rides are great, but there should be more added, especially for the price! The food/beverage prices are insane(think six Flags, maybe higher) and not near as good as a larger theme park. All in all, it's average, but you what you pay for is more than your money's worth. on a side note, nice staff and friendly/appropriate for youngsters. read more

Being new to the area and hearing about a Christian park, we excited to try out the Grenville park before committing a few hundred to season passes. So we attended the "largest swimming lesson." Where the guards tried very hard. The head guards told us to go buy our tickets and come back to the wave pool. We were directed to the wrong place twice. They had to get approval to let us out to buy the tickets. We buy the tickets, then they told us we couldn't get back in. People had left CHILDREN and wallets left inside!! So they call around and finally, they scan our tickets and let us back in. To get back to our stuff to turn us around again. Where Juan Sanchez ensured me it was the only way they could know who paid - while standing way too close in my personal space. Seriously, you are worried that maybe 3 people didn't pay cause they were still in the wave pool area? So you are going to push 40 people out of the park? So then we get to go stand - DRIPPING wet, in the heat, waiting in line again, while they try to figure out what they are doing. This is the most poorly run, pathetically executed, there is no customer service. It was sad robots who actually said, "You should find some shade to stand." Where there is no shade? But if tried to ask what was happening, they literally looked at you blankly and couldn't say anything? The answer was to wait for 40more minutes for a second bag check and another scan of our tickets. It was VERY obvious that NO ONE knew what they were doing. Horrible lack of communication between park staff, guards and definitely customers. And NEVER have I see such poor customer service. Engaging with no less than 10 people to have ONE lone person say "I'm sorry" - Morgan Smith. But not before the blond bag check girl (who doesn't wear a name tag) "huff, harrumph, what is your problem?" Maybe wandering and standing in line for hours? "Not here, we only open at 11" Sorry you are so clueless as to what is happening at your park, but some of us have been here for hours. We will not not NOT be buying seasons passes, we NOT be coming back. Buyer beware! read more

There isn't a zero star option. DO NOT...I repeat DO NOT go here! I rarely complain about services and I am generally overly understanding. I have had minimal contact from this organization after an incident there caused Annalee to have to have her toenail surgically removed. I would have had no problem with this, the fact that she had to leave Texas early, being involved in a 3 car accident on the way to the ER or having to be partially sedated due to her fear of doctors. What I have a problem with is they have called me ONE TIME, will give me no insurance information and I have heard nothing from their insurance company. Her bill is $2514.00 and I'm sure this is nothing to them but it is everything to me. They are behaving completely unprofessional considering we put them in charge of our children's safety. The "general manager" Jeff Russell was completely unprofessional. I inquired as to how Splash Kingdom Waterpark planned to procede with corrective action regarding my daughter's injury in the wave pool. His response was to have a nice day and contact the insurance company if I have any further questions. My question was what should have been a simple one. .. how will you fix the peeling texture on the wave pool so that another 11 year old girl does not end up having her toenail surgically removed. The kids said ten stars! Lifeguards were super friendly with our 6 and 7 year old boys. Put our towels, etc. on chairs when we got there and nobody messed with it. Lockers available for valuables. We went on a Saturday in the summer and lines weren't too long except the wave pool, which got more and more crowded as the day went on. We thought everything was reasonably priced. Very unsatisfied! $27 and some change for a full price ticket, mind you not a horrible price. But this is supposed to be a family fun place to enjoy but, you pay your money and drag floats and your kiddos to the top of the highest rides and when you get there they say sorry sir you must climb back down because you have shoes on! By the way your kids can go! Very rediculous! So aggravating! So all you tender footed people and folks with any feet issues. Save your money don't waste your time at this park in canton! Loved it. Took my 6yo, 22mo and 4wo to the park with my husband and the kids had a blast, while I hung out in the shade under an umbrella with the baby. It was very clean, very sweet service and had lots for the kiddos. Best of all, it is a Christian run establishment! Loved the Christian music while we hung out. My ONLY negative comment would be that it would be nice if there were more shade around the water areas so I could have hung out in the water with the baby. :) read more

I decided to check this place out because I saw it on groupon. I figured what the heck, it was a fantastic deal with entry and lunch for both kiddos. Normally it is such a hassle to go to a water park. We had an absolute wonderful time when we went yesterday! There were no foul mouthed teens or making out in front of my kids, I had no concerns of our stuff being taken or even bothered with. The park isn't huge but there's enough stuff to keep the kids busy. We were there from 11am-5pm and the kids really didn't even want to leave then but we had to. My youngest daughter is typically miserable at water parks because she's scared of big rides. She rode all but 2 things and actually wanted to do some of them multiple times. My oldest rely enjoyed the music as well! We will be buying season passes next summer because it was well worth it! Thanks for a great day Splash Kingdom! read more

A little small but fairly priced and ideal to watch kids. Activities for must ages, maybe not teens. Just a pool and two slide.

Go here before the one in Greenville! More slides for teens. Same stuff for younger kids. Oh and if it's raining or even a chance call before going! We waited 2 hours at Greenville because of a "chance" of thunderstorm was coming! We saw no rain in the 2 hour wait! I give Greenville 2 stars BTW! It's too new to be on here yet! read more

Went here this past Saturday and what a disgusting place it is! The lazy river, wave pool, and kid pool was cloudy and smelled of pee. They won't let you bring in a cooler of water or any food. They need to change that rule because getting a water will take you over an hour! Food line was ridiculous! They do not have enough employees to make sure everyone is not cutting in line. For the big slides you have to wait in line for a tube then wait in line for another tube. There were people getting off the slide and just passing us by over and over to ride again instead of handing those of us in line their tube for our turn. They have got to expand and add bathrooms! "0" or "-5" if I could. The place is super expensive. So we arrived to the gate with 6 bottles of water and we were told that DRINKING WATER OR ANY OTHER DRINKS WERE NOT ALLOWED. This is water we are talking about WATER!!! The lady said you can bring your EMPTY BOTTLES IN "EMPTY!!!" WTH is wrong with this place. They continued to check our bags and my son(thinking as a 6yr old boy) put a couple of water guns, water goggles and a snorkel. OH DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BRINGING THAT (FUN STUFF) to the "waterpark." Is a big NO NO according to them. They looked at my son and me as if we were bringing real guns or as if we were some kind of terrorist. I asked the lady why not the toys either, she responded "the lifeguards don't like those toys because it can hurt the them and the kids" I was like WOW!, yet inside the park, THEY SELL YOU THIS WATER BALLOONS FOR YOU AND THEY KIDS TO THROW AT EACH OTHERS FACE(call me dumb, but doesn't that hurt more than a water gun?!!) I was speechless. Anything inside the park is way too expensive, well think 3-5 dollars more than hurricane harbor or six flags. I can guarantee splash kingdom that I would rather drive the extra hour and take my family to a REAL WATER PARK IN DALLAS. This place is not worth my time, patience and money. If you go(WHICH I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND), bring your own food and step outside to your car and eat(way less expensive) or better yet go to ANY other water park, it will be better than this. read more

My kids and I enjoyed it.. But it hurt the wallet.. As an adult it's fair to pay $22.00 but i think it's a scam on child height 42" thats not right at all..... Child /children 14 and under should be $17.00 now thats fair... I don't know who made that policy on 42" and under but my child/children are not midgets no offense... This place is not user friendly at all! Greenville location Pros The water is refreshing on hot days. Cons -The employees are very rude upon entering. -Very pricey!!! It would be nice if they lowered the price on certain days for underprivileged children. Not just after 5 -We bought passes however every time we tried to get those, the camera was not working and the employees lacked the knowledge to explain how we needed to proceed. -My husband brought his 88 year old mother to watch her great grandbaby just for 10 minutes and they wanted to charge $27 entry fee. Ridiculous! I see on another post where a bus driver wanted to use the restroom and he wasn't allowed in either. This needs to be case by case. You over charge enough so WHY? -The big water parks allow you to bring in a cooler with lunch and water. THIS PLACE WONT ALLOW A BOTTLE OF WATER IN!!! They say you can use their thermos water. I saw someone putting their hands in it! What happens if someone decides to put something in that water. REALLY! -The lifeguards ask people not to run but yet when they change posts they are running. Its scares everyone as it seems like an emergency is happening. Makes no sense! - The bathrooms are filthy and slippery. Someone is going to fall and you'll have to deal with it then. -When I ask to see the manager a very young lady who could have cared less came out and had no authority. -As poor as the service has been, I'm hopeful they treat the water for bacteria. This place is great!! I took 4 children ranging from ages 8 to 15 and they all loved it!! It is not to crowded. We recently took a trip to great wolf lodge and the kids said they had more fun on the rides here at splash kingdom. Wish I would have known could have saved me a lot of money lol read more

A disappointment. High priced and poor service. The young staff could not stop the troublemaking kids from stopping the long slide line with their game of hiding out in the covered slide. Very aggravating. There were too few tubes and mats available so had to wait for those too. Good slides and good potential with better management. Suggest a policy of letting seniors in free (75+) years since our senior had to pay full price to sit and watch his grand kids have fun from 4-6 pm. read more

I like it here better than Six flags or Hawaiian falls. It's less crowded, short waiting time for rides, and reasonably priced. You can come in and out of the park as many times as you wish and they have a small picnic area outside for people who bring their own food. read more

My family was so excited when we first moved out here from the Dallas area, to see that there was a water park being built. Since we hadn't has the chance to go on a vacation this summer, I wad searching for something fun to do before Summer ended. I noticed that Splash Kingdom was having a sale on tickets at a place in Sulphur Springs. After speaking with the sales girl, We decided to go with the family 4 pack with the meal vouchers, instead of just 4 individual tickets. Both options had been discounted. We asked her what food we got with the vouchers ( I am a picky eater). She said we could choose from a variety of things like hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, etc., and we would also get either fries or chips, and a drink. That sounded great, because I had considered whether we should buy individual tickets and leave for lunch to save money. We get there, all is good. It is small, but okay. When we go to the counter to eat, we waited in line behind only 3 people for 45 minutes. We find out our choices only consist of 3 things: nachos w/a drink, 2 chicken tenders w/chips and drink, or a hot dog w/ chips and drink. Yep, no hambugers, no fries. My boys are teenagers, so this is more like a snack. The cheese on the nachos was cold ( and you got no nothing else but the drink). The chips are not your brand name, bagged chips. Whatever they are, they aren't good. I did not eat because the hamburgers I was told I would get was $8.50. Their concessions are way overpriced, their admission is way overpriced. Older kids will get bored quickly at this small place. You would think they would've done better since they are the only one around. Customer service was terrible. I think it's very wrong that they are selling these family packs by misleading the consumer. If it's bad training, then retrain and retrain again!!. Not recommended. They have a long way to go to justify their prices, like adding on, etc. We'll be driving back to Dallas from now on! read more

We weren't sure about the weather so we thought we would play it safe and call before we took the 30 min. drive down there. We were told they were open and it was hot and sunny. Low and behold the exact minute we pull into the driveway they are closing the park down due to weather conditions!! I was very upset as you could imagine my 7 and 4 yr. olds were even more upset. The park was nice enough to give everyone discount tickets that were already in the park to come back but the manager/owner didn't seem to care that his employee had just told me they were open and it was hot and sunny. He told me it was not his problem and he could not control the weather. True, but considering the surrounding area was dark gray tells me those clouds didn't miraculously appear within my 30 min. drive. All I asked for was discounts tickets for the inconvenience! I don't think that was too much to ask for and I don't think his attitude was very Christianly. I will not be returning to a park that treats people with NO REGARD and lacks charity!!!!! read more
