Our beautiful sunshine allows us the luxury of soaking in countless sunny days year-round. I longed for the freedom of not having to worry about spending time grooming myself so that I could wear shorts, a dress, a tank top, or a skirt. I have very sensitive skin, so my daily shaving routine wreaked havoc on my legs and underarms. I was always left with raw, unsightly razor-burned legs that left me super self-conscious. I attempted many different remedies in my battle to be hairless and smooth. I did at home epilating, threading for my eyebrows, waxing, and I even purchased 'at home' laser hair removal with a tiny 'laser' gun that didn't do squat and took hours. Oh, the money I wasted. I was ready to break up with shaving for good. I had always considered laser hair removal a luxury item, and I never thought it was In my reach expense wise. That was until I saw an advertisement this spring for $99 monthly treatment plans for your choice of selected areas. I finally bit the bullet and secured an initial consult and appointment. Since I work wacky hours, they accommodated a weekend appointment at my request. They advised I should show up without any lotions, creams, or deodorant (since I scheduled my underarms to be lasered). I also shouldn't be exposed to sunlight or tan a minimum of two weeks before my appointment. To prepare for my appointment, they asked that I would be freshly shaved in all treated areas. So, if you have your first session, be sure to follow their requests to ensure you receive the best results. My Saturday appointed rolled around, and I prepped just as they requested. The receptionist welcomed me to their bright and airy storefront, and we discussed my treatment goals. They let me know that I could expand upon their $99 package to treat additional areas and built a custom package for me. I am currently treating my face (upper lip and chin), full legs, and underarms. My laser technician is super sweet, warm, and welcoming. She made me feel comfortable through my appointments.. She keeps good conversation throughout the laser removal session, and the appointment flies by. My full package (full legs, face, and underarms) is done in roughly 30 - 40 mins. Although the treatment is not 'pain-free,' they have a 'cooling' mechanism on their laser, and it minimizes any discomfort. The best way I can describe the sensation is that it feels like a tiny rubber band snapping against the skin - it's quick, you feel it, but then it dissipates quickly. They are upfront and let you know that the amount of treatments varies per the individual. Knowing that I am basically a Yeti, I am assuming that I will need 8 -12 treatments to achieve optimal results. My monthly standing appointment for treatment are set 4 weeks apart. I hope to finish my current treatments by the end of the year. I currently have 3 treatments under my belt, and I already see a SIGNIFICANT change in my hair regrowth. I know I have more sessions ahead of me, but I am thrilled with the results so far. The freedom of not having to think about shaving is priceless. This is the ultimate in low maintenance living. So, I searched long and hard, far and wide, and finally found Ani! I obviously stalked her insta for MONTHS before I got the nerve to make an appointment; and I have to say that I was not disappointed. I originally had my eyebrows microbladed some time last year (when her rate was still around $400 - now it's $700 and it'll only go up...BC SHE'S THE BEST) and just recently went back for my 1 year touch up. Again, so pleased with her work. My little ol frail brows have color and are shaped the way I like and I couldn't be happier. Updating my review because I'm super bummed with the new laser tech now that Sammi left. I have been seeing Sammi for about two years, and before that I was doing laser for years as well. Second time going in there to get my usual laser. The first time with the new girl I could tell she was super nervous about burning me with leftover tanner on my skin after I had waited a week since last application, the usual time. I exfoliated, I shaved since, multiple times - like you're supposed to do. I am aware of the preparation of laser because I have been getting it for years. I even used a baby wipe to show that I didn't have any residue on my skin and she still wouldn't perform it on me. I know my skin. I told her last time I would not get burned. I did not. I had to coddle her last time to tell her I wouldn't get burned and it's ridiculous to have to prove how my skin works to someone I'm paying a service for. Especially at a high-end salon I've been going to for years. Please listen to me, as I know my skin best. I am paying a premium price for this service. I understand how the rules of cosmetology work. But self-tanner just doesn't magically disappear off of skin. I drove all the way down to Ivy after waiting a month for my appointment to be turned away. I never had issues with Sammi. I felt like I could trust Sammi more with the laser as well. 6 Brazilian laser treatments later and I am a very happy camper! As I mentioned in my earlier review, Ivy is clean, beautiful, and every employee is friendly and professional. My technician, Sammi, has been wonderful. Even though on a few treatments, I had a histamine reaction, causing some bumps and irritation for a few days, she was able to effectively discuss it with me and give some suggestions on how to deal with it. The laser process itself was never painful, just a few hot spots here and there. Waxing hurts much more! The result- amazing! While not 100% hair free, the area is very smooth, and what little hair remains is very thin and fine. While the price may seem steep, it ends up costing less than waxing, and with no "grow out" period and close to permanent results, I'm very pleased with it. Ivy gets my stamp of approval! read more

Got my eyebrows done by Neena and was so hesistant to post a review because I don't like to put negative review on a specific person however after numerous people advising me its to give others a possible warning that not all her work is perfect, I just had to especially with the fact its not cheap to get this done. 1st session was obviously imperfect. Not all eyebrows are twins but it sure doesn't have to be completely different either. I brought it up to her attention but she said because she did a 3rd pass she couldn't fill in where it was needed and would fix it during the touch up session. Touch up session she went darker to match my hair which I liked but again obviously 2 different shape of eyebrows. Yes the plus side is I FILL in the flaws and missing spots which takes up less time than before ever getting them done but I would never leave the house without filling it in! Neenajay just did my brows today. I was recommended to her by a friend and found out another coworker had also been to her and very happy with the results. My regular brows were very thin and not long at all. She created a beautiful arch with extension on the brow to really enhance my eyes. I could not be happier with the only hours old results of my eyebrows. They give you detailed directions on what to do pre-micro blading .As well as very detailed after care. The salon offers a variety of services that I will definitely be looking to utilize in the future. Included in the cost of the micro blading is a touchup 4 to 6 weeks later. I highly recommend her and her salon services. The before picture the first one is of my COVID-19 eyebrows being that I used to get them waxed but what little hair grew in before she threaded them to create a base shape and then designed my new brows. Wow wow wooooow!! I had heard that Ivy Laser was amazing, but after a few failed attempts with laser hair removal in the past, I was hesitant to believe the hype. ...Well, color me hairless and call me a believer! I had two areas lasered right before vacay - underarms and the other important area to laser before a Caribbean vacay. (If you're unsure what I'm talking about, you probably aren't from a Middle-Eastern descent...like me.) A few days after, I didn't notice a difference and was super bummed! So, feeling defeated, I shaved, thinking it would be the first of thousands and thousands of times I'd have to do it again. (Sigh...) But wait! A week later, I noticed that ALL my hair follicles were mysteriously inactive. Not one sign of growth. It was all just...gone! She had mentioned that it might take a few days for the hair to fall out of the follicles, but I had totally forgotten about that. OMG! IT WORKS!!! It's been a MONTH...an entire month...and I haven't even had to go back in. I know that it takes 4-6 treatments to banish hair for good, so I actually can't wait until I need to go back! The bed you lay on was a nice cushioned doctor's room bed. gloves were worn and everything was super professional. the pain? ow. but not that bad, just like a bunch of rubberbands snapping against you. i'm a flincher so everytime it came on it scared me a bit but it was over pretty quickly. the quality of the work? amazing. I was worried that the little black specks meant that it didn't work properly but i washed my face and applied some sunscreen and could immediately see that there was a less noticeable shadow. in conclusion? Ivy Laser Salon is highly recommended. I have had laser hair removal done at several places and no one has come close to the quality of this place. They just opened and have a modern and beautiful salon. The first thing I look for in any spa or medical facility is cleanliness and Ivy was spotless. The actual laser used is new and not painful at all, most of the time for laser you would need a numbing cream, this one is 'dare I say relaxing' and didn't hurt at all or irritate my skin. The machine has a small burst of super cold air right when the laser hits, it numbs the area and makes it very comfortable. There was no rush and the treatment was very thorough, I have a couple stubborn spots and she made sure to get those areas very well. The eyebrow threading was top notch, no pain and my brows were looking great afterwards. The prices are inexpensive, if you have been to other places in Vegas or anywhere else for laser, come here and you will be pleasantly surprised. Usually I am hesitant sending people to new places because experiences vary, however I will send people here in full confidence. read more

There is a brow bar where you can get threading done. I plan to try it after I grow mine out a bit. I popped an ibuprofen and applied numbing cream because I find laser hair removal more painful than waxing. The treatment went great and the customer service is amazing! I just finished my 12 month touch up and honestly... I'm so bummed about my experience w this salon and the owner. My first time microblading was about 1.5 yrs ago w Nena J, the owner. Initially, the color/shape didn't stay. So I waited for the complimentary touch-up. Didn't stay. When I voiced my concerns all I got was passive aggressiveness stating that micro blading isn't meant to keep most of its color and shrinks etc. I understood that... but when the top of the arch strokes just completely disappeared making my eyebrows lose the shape she attempted to create... I don't understand why I paid over $500 to do it. I followed all the after care. Eyebrows turned out to look like a sharpie draw on. I asked for thicker and darker so they would possibly stay. Nope. Still thin and so unflattering. There are much better options out there. Only reason I went back for the 12 month touch up was bc I made the appointment before I got the rude response from her about my concerns. It's $50 to schedule an appointment. Non refundable. I would 100% not recommend. If you go.. just do it at your own risk. Don't expect your concerns to be fixed. Unless you wanna pay again :) Now after my 12 month touch up($200)- she says she is no longer doing touch ups. When in her other reply to another yelper that hated her results from one of Nenas apprentices... was that she would never say that her apprentices work would match up to hers. So why let them do the work if they're not as good w out THAT exact warning? Why advertise your work and let others do it when it doesn't measure up? So.. it's just a mess of a business. This is the only procedure I had done here, but I've had another friend that went w me and she never went back bc of the work. Initially, I went w my friend and the owner didn't even end up giving her the complimentary touch up bc "she didn't do that anymore" lol. And now it's back on the website that she does? So confusing! She also was extremely rude when I asked about her pricing. The prices have changed so often that I got confused. AND they continue to!! I don't mind paying the asking price, but when I start the process w the salon when it's at one rate then it changes half way into it... it's frustrating. There's much better pricing for laser treatments too. This salon also doesn't have the top of line machine most professional laser salons have. Do your research people!!! Call and ask what laser Simplicity Laser and Ideal Image use. I go to simplicity and I pay 60$ a month for full body laser hair removal. She charges something like $125 for a Brazilian for ONE session. It's unreal. I think this whole business is a scam. That's what it felt like the whole process. I have used her services a while ago she did laser hair removal on my face, bikini area and legs. On face she hasnt removed anything honestly, still can see all the tiny hairs. When you complain she gets very defensive, instead of offering you some deal to make up for it she goes like well sorry you didnt see any results maybe you need to do more sessions.
