(Long rave) Stopped into Spoke N Sport just needing new mittens and ended up having one of the best shop experiences I've had in a long time. Chatted with John and the owner Peter (both genuinely solid dudes) about snowboarding, gear we love and gear we don't, with zero sales pressure. Just honest and real rider to rider conversation. The customer service was so good I brought my whole setup in to have it looked over after some upgrades I made. No upselling, no BS just real feedback, genuine care and knowledge. I also watched them help another customer get into a more fitting board for them, not just letting the customer get what they thought they needed. That says everything They listen, they educate and they give you the best deal they can while making sure you're riding safely and correctly. Beginner or experienced, it doesn't matter. They'll fit your boots, dial in your setup, and make sure your gear is safe and enhancing your ride experience. I also bring my mountain/road bikes here for tune-ups and the experience is always top notch. This is what a local shop should be and the kind we need to support more. Blew a tire right in front of their shop on Saturday and luckily they had (close to) the same size as my ebike. Iv had probably about 10 flat tires in 3 years with this bike and iv never paid $74 for a internube replacement! Friendly people and knowledgeable but basic bikes for sale for thousands so I knew i was in for it when I had them fix it. I should have carried it to Eriks Bike shop. read more

I love this snowboard and I don't want to return it. When I received the package the top sheet was damaged due to negligence of UPS. This could have been avoided if there was some sort of bubble wrap or package wrap inside the box to protect the inside board during transportation. Inside of the shipping box (made of two separate boxes) only contained the board where it was able to move freely around without any support or padding inside. If this is your standard operating procedure for shipping, please do better. Now I have to submit a claim with UPS for the item I was very looking forward to all year. read more

The staff was so incredibly helpful. We drove from eight hours away. We bought our gear and they stored it for us for two weeks before we were able to pick it up. They helped explain how everything worked and they had it all set up the moment we arrived to pick it up. The staff was cool and friendly and made sure we could set everything up ourselves. It was having break issues that were just a bit outside of my range of skills, so I called them and they said they would be happy to look at it! In less than 5 minutes they had the walker fixed and working properly! I was in week 3 of a 6 week of a solo multi-state tour. I came in with a frayed shifter cable because I had brought the wrong type. The mechanics were great jokers but were all on the ball. I could have done the job myself but since I was tired and going to be headed back out into the middle of nowhere (wrt bicycle shops anyway) I worked with them to make SURE everything was done properly. Now in my final week and the Trek 520 is cruising beautifully. P.s. I used to use STI shifters. A must for racing. I've gone back to down tube shifters. Short cable runs so super crisp shifting. Bullet proof in crashes since the shifter position is "inside" vs exposed. And super light weight. Let's me fly up mountains. I brought my road bike here on a Saturday, needing some help with pumping tires and checking to see if anything needed to be adjusted. It was busy, but during my time there, three workers came up to me asking if I needed help. The one guy I worked with not only adjusted my bike on the fly for me quickly, but he did it for free, and gave me advice on how to adjust the frame and change wheels. They are professional and very friendly! Ended up buying a bike tire adapter, but will definately stop by again next time I am in town and in need of some parts. Note: The guy said he doesn't do bike adjustments om Saturdays, but he quickly fixed mine for me (I'm assuming he meant long, difficult bike adjustments/fixes). Also, theres ample parking and the shop looks nice inside! read more

It's the perfect all-around shop. The service department recently identified and fixed a couple of issues with my road bike and tuned it up so it runs like new. Indie like bike shop. I was there visiting from Atlanta. The customer service was top of the line. The guys answered all my questions, and walked to show me where the stuff I was looking for. Great bike shop. None of that attitude if you aren't a hard core enough bike person. We went in to look at and eventually buy the next week a bike for our 7 year old son, and they were super friendly to us each time, no pressure at all, and I felt equally welcome looking at the kids bike as the guy buying a road bike next to us. I then returned a few weeks later to buy a new handlebar for my commuter bike. read more

Excellent bike shop with excellent people. Purchased a used bike from Spoke-N-Sport three months ago, and still haven't had one issue with it. I've currently put over 500 miles on it, and have even modified a couple of components. Spoke-N-Sport guaranteed the purchase for 30 days, and even replaced a piece before my purchase. The staff looked the bike over before I test rode it, and after I had purchased it. Fantastic customer service shop, rented bike on July 6th with great service to set up the bikes and offer suggestions on best access to the Sioux Falls bike way. (Bike way in Sioux Falls, 28 miles, of well maintained & well layer out trails, clean bathrooms, water and air stations.). Then on July 11 after allowing non bike people to ride our Catrikes, one ended up with a kinked chain & bent de-railer the shop said they would look and attempt to repair even on a Sunday afternoon. Two mechanics, Pete & Tuesday, worked for 45 min to make the best of a bad situation. They stayed later than closing time, gave us the part number to call ahead on our vacation path with the number to a Catrike dealer in Minneapolis to schedule service and have the part waiting.
