I can walk in at any time, and any one of the Gen Z girls... are extremely kind-hearted, so very helpful and helping me size my clothes. I recently lost a lot of weight and I had been basing my size off of my old plus size. The other week, I was in and I asked for a 2XL and one employee said, that I should try either a LARGE or XL in regular sizing. In disbelief that I could fit in those two sizes, I took them to the back and tried them on. To my shock... I fit very nicely in a LARGE .... Wow.... The girls tag-team each other so a variety of employees all help all of us in the dressing rooms... brilliant idea on the management's part. I cannot stress enough how accommodating these employees are for my age group (I am 56). I quit going to the other competitors in the Empire Mall, just on the helpfulness of each employee at this Maurices location. Each and every time, I'm almost near tears of JOY, leaving and I always make sure I personally walk up to the employees and sincerely thank them for their kind help. Bless you all.

It was the worst purchase I had ever made, and the expensive warranty they claimed would be out of this world was worthless. I would have been better off giving that money to people experiencing homelessness; at least, then it would have mattered. The lazy boy chair we got was defective from the beginning, and instead of offering something different, let's keep replacing it with another defective chair. Putting in claims means nothing, not one replies, etc. When you go to the store, they act like you are a liar and waste their time. However, the GBS denies it when you do what they asked and put another claim right before their eyes while in the store! I wasted over 2 hours in the store and am still in the same boat I am currently in with a defective recliner that never worked. When you email the manager, she flips the story around and frustrates this customer! So I was basically called a liar, made a new claim in front of the store manager, and still got the claim denied. You wonder why customers are so frustrated. Who could pull their hair out and act crazy when you go to a store? They act like you are wasting their time, called the dysfunctional person, and yet they want your money, not your business. I purchased an expensive chair with the extra magic Slumberland warranty. Here I am with a recliner I paid too much for, which has never worked. The first chair was defective, and they replaced it with another defective chair. The best part was that the tech guy who came out asked me if my husband was fat because that could explain why the chair's steel structural frame was bent! REALLY! When we were in the store, he sat in the same chair, and the sales rep said it was a perfect fit. So note to self only people who are 100pounds, or less should buy furniture from this company because they love to look at you in your face, say it is a good fit, and then lie to you, or the tech guy thinks that was a good excuse to say to a customer who spent over $5K plus in there store for crap furniture. Again, PLEASE save your time and hard-earned money in this place and people who are just there to make as much money for themselves, even if it means lying to the customer.
