Got excited about Bourbon Bingo. Dropped in with my wife. About 3 or 4 employees working, bar was full but the rest of the tables were empty. Zero service. Not a "howdy" or a "be with you in a minute". Not even a welcome to Woodys. We sat for about 10 minutes. Nothing. No Bingo. No service. No "Hi" no "Bye". I began to wonder if it was a private event going on. Either way, I'll never know because I'm not spending a dime to feel invisible or taken for granted. I heard they have a pretty good burger. It would have to be Himalayan Wagyu Mountain Longhorn meat to get me in that place again. He could giveaway a yacht and box season tickets for the Astros and I wouldn't even sit on the patio to see if I won. I've had some pretty crappy service before, I've had first day waiters, one even spilled a drink on me before. I've had busy waiters, who were running the entire show by themselves but this place beats them all. If you read this far, you are probably waiting on the punchline. Well, I was too and they didn't have that either. Good Luck with your business Woody. I hope you survive so I can drive by on the way out of my neighborhood and be reminded that no matter how bad the service gets at any establishment, it's still service and it beats crickets any day. read more

Great selection of beers on tap. Bands on the weekends. Friendly servers. Reasonable prices. Free parking. What more could one ask for?

Service is spectacular, and the servers and owners are fabulous. They were doing boiled crayfish and shrimp, so flavorful and the sauces were tasty. read more

Really cool little sports bar to hang out at. Staff is super accommodating. Live band last night when we went was pretty awesome. Drinks and food are super reasonable. Used to really enjoy coming to this place when visiting my folks as it is very close to their neighborhood and had a decent beer selection for a hole in the wall in Tomball. I felt like once upon a time they were a decent place to watch sports and grab some chicken wings too. Nowadays the place is a sad, dark little place, draped in trashy political flags on every wall and has absolutely not kept up with the quality of offerings nearby. I can get better beers, better service, and better food at a lot of other places in the immediate area now so I don't see a reason to come back. Not sure if they changed ownership or just don't care anymore but sad to see how degraded the experience here is from even just a few years ago. read more

Acting manager made light of my moms cancer and cursed me out because an event was being hosted at a different bar. Bad food, only a couple good beers Terrible service. 0 stars. Will not go back because of horrible attitude from acting manager Adam. The door to the patio was opened and was making it chilly inside. I went outside and politely asked everyone if they minded if I closed the door. Everyone was polite, said go ahead, and I tried to close the door. Then Adam came over from his group of friends, remarked "Is this your door?!" in a rude tone, then propped the door back open. As he walked back towards the bar, I was confused, thought this was a joke, and asked "is it your door?" He was again, very rude, said "yes" and walked back inside. I later found out he was the acting manager. I also work in a service industry, so I understand we have bad days, bad customers, but this was completely uncalled for. The day before thanksgiving. I'll never go back. This ruined my night. read more

Has food and beer plus sports on the TV for the men. Never have a problem using their pool table, darts or shuffleboard. On the patio they have a covered area to smoke in that is also equipped with fans to cool us ladies down. Fun and friendly bar staff and live music. Great local bar! read more

What a terrible excuse for a local bar. Adam, one of the bartenders, is the worst. Unprovoked, told us we need Botox and hearing aids, and then called us derogatory names multiple times as we were leaving. He SHOVED my friend and called her a "fucking cunt" after she stood up for herself when he was bullying us. I'm shocked and I'm sad. He provocatively harassed 40yr moms out for the first time in months! So sad. I'm praying his insecurities don't get the best of him as they did tonight. read more

Unless you have a table of 10 you are shit out of luck on customer service. Morgan, our waitress, made several trips to the table of 10 and although I made eye contact with her and nodded each time, she failed to come to our table until we waved our hands in the air as though we were in distress. we like this place most of the time, even though no one really goes out of their way on customer service, it has a good customer base with friendly people. we usually always end up playing darts or shuffleboard with others in the bar. read more

Nice local bar! Hubby and I have been here three times and each time we've enjoyed chatting with total strangers at the bar. The snack food is average but the drinks are inexpensive and iced cold. There's a juke box app for the music so the songs vary from country to hip hop depending on who the patrons are at the time. We've never been here when they had the live band music but the floor is large enough for dancing if you have the need to shake a leg. Plenty of TVs for sports viewing, friendly bartenders and pretty decent service. Nice place for a casual date-night, night out with friends or afternoon game viewing. read more

We were humiliated by the "manager" Alan. My wife and I were at Sportin Woody's to see South 90, as we are everytime they play there. No issues, great service, if we could catch someone walking around great if I went up to the bar it was still fast and easy. When at the bar, I would leave cash in the tip jar. So we closed out our card and I didn't leave much bc I had already tipped $15-20 in cash. Shouldn't be anyone's business right? The "manager" alan, came up to us at the table in the very front and asked if that was our tab. We were closed out, paid, And again, as any normal adult, took care of tips in one form or fashion. We were so taken aback by the aggression that we said no so he would go away. He came back and said that it was us and why would we leave such a low tip on our card. When I said I left cash in the jars he immediately yelled that I did not, he said he asked around, and he took my beer that was 3/4 full and tried to take my wife's drink out of her hand. He literally took our paid for drinks. I still can't believe this actually happened. I've never been so shamed or humiliated. I asked him to watch cameras, and attempted to get my beer back but he refused service. He took our paid for drinks. Ugh I'm still so upset over it, I've never been or seen treatment like that. We've been going to that establishment for several years and I can't believe that happened. We've always had a great time. Public shaming or humiliation is not okay in any form or fashion. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Several friends warned us about this place & the rude wait staff but thought we'd give it another shot. A group next to us was celebrating their friend's completion of chemo. Get off your high horse and quit being shitty to older customs that are trying to take pictures on you stage. There are about 10 people in your bar and we are buying high dollar alcohol and your workers are assholes. You need to educate you younger bartenders. Three women above the age of 30 trying taking a quick selfie on your unutilized stage and promote your almost barren bar is a GOOD thing. The male bar tender is RUDE ! Don't go there! They grill outside near the front door and all the smoke goes to the patio, where we were seating. Went here for St. Patrick's Day and had a great time. There is NO SMOKING inside, which is awesome! There are plenty of places to smoke on the patio, which soon will be covered. Very fresh & modern look inside, patio a definite plus. Just met there on a whim for a beer & had a good time. Restroom clean. Not very lively, but not a game night or anything.
