We got about 5 lbs for around $30 (or ~$7.99/lb), which is hard to beat. At first, the flavor leaned a little salty, but once we figured out how to mix in the seasoning and butter, it really hit. I went to District 249 for a party on the evening of a concert. They have drink specials that the bartenders don't know about (tried to order a Coors, was told it's $4.25, went to a different bartender to clarify what a "yellow belly" is and confirmed that it's a Coors Banquet for $3.00). The food is mediocre to bad, with the chicken (both wings and tenders) being extremely dry. I will say the fries are solid, though. They have 10 volleyball courts that were open to play on that are fully enclosed with nets and lights. Great setup there. They also had cornhole and a free (tip suggested) mechanical bull setup when I was there. Unfortunately, the bartender lost my credit card closing me out. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I was like I just want to close my tab at this point. Like who pissed in your Cheerios ? Why would it matter if I wanted to close my tab at this point?? I stood there in shock for a minute and another lady walked up, I said I'd like another drink but I want to close my tab. Were they mad I didn't keeping running up my tab? She couldn't find my name and I was like she opened my tab the one that was being rude. They eventually found it and I was not leaving until they found it. I knew it was there because I logged into my bank account while I was standing to make sure they started my tab after they told me they couldn't find info. I didn't stay long to find out where the manager or who the manager was. I was like if they're rude, the manager can't be any better if they allow their staff to treat people this way. They were cooked perfectly and had very good flavor and seasoning we also indulged in sausage potatoes and corn which were all good perfectly and aren't overwhelming spicy but flavored nicely. We also had two drinks first the mango and watermelon margarita and the peach margarita and also 3 ginger shots. The margaritas were perfect a perfect balanced of sweetness and alcohol which made it every rely enjoyable with the crawfish the peaches margarita had a very light yet deep peach flavor which was my favorite the watermelon magi was also well balanced and we decided on getting Tajin to give it a little kick which was perfect. The ginger shots were also pretty enjoyable. Great hangout with fields for kickball and sand nets for volleyball. I came here to have a meeting. There's inside and outside service. There's even fire tables to keep you warm. Phoebe came over with a smile and offered us great, friendly service. We were close to the volleyball area and moved to her section. This was the absolute worst place we've ever been to and I don't recommend it to anyone else. My girlfriend would try to ask a server something and they would just side eye her and walk away. It was absolutely ridiculous, we ended up going up to the bar outside and when waiting the bartender looked at us and kept doing whatever she was doing. We've had many work happy hours and a company sponsored event here. idk if its fault of the kitchen or the event planners but they could not keep up with the food that day. The last time we came in, their kitchen was down from a fire or something. We wanted to order in and initially I believe they said no. I'm not sure why since they couldn't prepare anything but eventually they relented & we had pizza & wings delivered. All was well, we had a good time all the same.
