We were actually recommended to this spot by Buick GMC of Beaverton for great wings and good vibes, and they did not disappoint. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had such a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in. I ordered the Ol' Dirty Buffalo bone-in wings with a side of fries, while my husband ordered the Bao tacos. The tacos were a really good size and absolutely delicious. But as a true chicken wing type of gal, I have to say -- those wings were top tier! The seasoning and sauce were flavorful, perfectly balanced, and definitely hit the spot. I came here with my running group and the staff was incredibly nice and efficient. We were a large group and they were able to get our food out relatively quick from when we ordered. The wings were so good and crispy! The flavors were unique but really good. My favorite was the lemon grass flavor. Sweet potatoes fries were crispy! You can tell they were freshly made. We came here for a Hazel's House Rescue fundraiser and left happy campers. Not only was the owner and the staff super nice but the food was amazing. We got potato curls and boneless wings and it was totally the right choice. The flavors are vibrant and flavorful, wings were cooked great and the potato curls were a perfect side for this meal. They also have a wonderful list of beers, ciders, and seltzers on tap. Their place was clean, open and cozy. You could sit outside, in a table, booth or at the bar. TVs are a bit high to watch the game and the concrete floor to ceiling makes a loud echo chamber when filled with customers. This is the newer location that is a little less of a drive for me coming from Happy Valley (please open on the east side). Ordering can be done at the bar or the QR code found on the tables. For bone-in wings, I've tried the bangkok, k-pop, salt & peppa dry rub with veggies, and tom-yum flavors and sauces with the bangkok and salt & peppa being my favorites and a must-get at every visit! I recently had the thai chili lime wing week special flavor and it needs to be permanently on the menu!! Tastes just like mama noodles with a hint of lime. The tom yum was a little bland with the need for more seasoning. I'm not a big fan of gochujang so the k-pop was alright. For sides, I've had the cauliflower bites tossed in salt & peppa dry rub with veggies (also a must get), sidewinder fries, and tater tots. Don't forget the sticky rice! On one of my recent visits, Richard was working the bar and he is good! Popped in here for happy hour. Not a fan of ordering through a QR code we opted to order at the counter. We ordered the 1/2 and 1/2, Bao Buns, and Tater Tots. We have come here every week for the past 2 month because of the service and delicious salt and pepper chicken wings and sidewinder fries (dragon dusted). Not to mention the excellent tap selection. So when we were trying to decide where to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary we wadded through the many choices Beaverton has to offer, steak house, bourbon bar, etc. We ultimately chose to come back to Prime Tap House because it's just plain where we want to be. Easily the best wings we've had in the Portland area (yes, even vs. FOTM)! They have a perfect crisp to them but are still juicy. My favorite wing spot when I lived back in the Bay Area was FireWings, and I think Prime Tap House may be the closest to that in really highlighting the Asian flavored wings. What I've tried -Bangkok -Killer Bees -Salt N Peppa -Garlic Furikake -K-Pop -Dragon Dust My personal favorites thus far has been the Salt N Peppa and Garlic Furikake. Ever since I went to Phnom Penh in Vancouver, BC and tried their Phnom Penh wings, I have been on the hunt for some Salt N Peppa wings here in Portland, and Prime has to be the closest to those delicious wings. The wings themselves are super crispy and the wing sizes aren't so small. I prefer dry rub wings and Salt N Peppa is hands down a favorite. Garlic Furikake has to be my second favorite as it sweet like a soy garlic but not overly sweet. You must also try their sidewinder wings. I don't remember how I found out about this place, but we love wings, and we love Asian-inspired flavors. This was a win-win. They have so many options to choose from, too. My partner ordered a chicken sandwich with the dirty buffalo sauce. He loved it. He got tots with his--those are his favorite. I ordered the boneless chicken and fries with Dong's sauce. I'm not sure why it has to be on the side... they won't let you have it served on it? Maybe if we dine in, I don't know. It was very tasty. I loved the sauce. It wasn't too spicy. We ordered an extra side of sauce and paid for it, but we didn't get it. Oh well. We ordered extra wings just to try some other sauces. We got spicy lemongrass and the hot chili sauce ones. First time here and we were pretty happy with the food and service. You order from a QR code on your table, service was prompt and friendly and they even offered to bring us a menu with descriptions of the sauce and dry rubs which for some reason isn't listed in the QR menu you order from so it makes deciding a little tricky if you aren't familiar with what they are. We are fans of spice so we tried the Hot Chili Oil, Dongs Sauce, and Spicy Lemongrass on our wings and Tiger Style on our sidewinder fries. Unfortunately nothing was very spicy (that's why minus one star) so if you're a spice person don't expect hot. Otherwise the flavor of the Chili Oil and Lemongrass was good but the Dongs was pretty mild flavored. The fries Tiger Style were our favorite thing and the flavor really punched you in the mouth (a good thing for me!). Pickles were good flavored albeit not super crunchy and the sesame dressing on the salad was one of my favorite sesame dressings I've tried. Overall we liked the place, the price was right and it's close to our house so we will definitely be back. Way better bar food than the standard burger fare you find elsewhere. read more

My official favorite wing place!! This is the 2nd location that opened recently. First location is in Hillsboro. I believe they both are under apartment complexes. The differences between the two locations is that the Hillsboro location is larger in space. This also means the parking lot is a bit bigger as well. Both locations are sit and order through QR code, which in my opinion is very efficient and easy. I've been to the Hillsboro location a few times and tried a few wing flavors but never had favorite flavors until now. My rating of flavors that I typically get: 1. Bangkok (fish sauce) 2. Dragon dust dry rub (I'd say more on the spicer end if your tolerance is low) 3. Salt & peppa (also on sidewinder fries) For my order at the Beaverton location, I got bone-in wings in Bangkok and dragon dust. I shared 9 pieces with my partner, as we also got sidewinder fries (w/ salt & peppa). I've never tried the sweet potato fries until one of my friends got it, and I will now be buying it over the sidewinder fries!! It's perfectly crispy snd sweet. I have only liked it from Red Robin's from when I did work there but I think this beats it. I still think the sidewinder fries are worth it to get if you're sharing with more than 2 people. They're soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, but also will taste like jojos the next day if you take it home lol. I had no issue finding parking or a seat for 4 on a Saturday night at 7pm. Though it was busy in the restaurant. Pros: - wings are bigger than most wing places - offers many creative flavors you can't find anywhere else - EXCELLENT customer service Cons: - if it's busy, you may have to wait for a table if you have a big group (doesn't happen often) - parking is shared with the complex I don't live near either location but I am always happy to drive the 30+ min to get these wings. I really hope that everyone gets a chance to try out the taproom. It has the combination of great Asian flavors as well as many local beers on draft. The wings are some of the best I have ever eaten and that's including comparing them to eating them in the living room of my home when my mom made them for me as a kid.
