She watched us through video, and we could speak with her through intercom. She helped us when we requested, and did not make us feel as if we were total morons for not figuring something out. You are greeted by the charismatic host, Dick, who explains to you the rules of the game and the gore you are about to expect. I hate scary things so I was terrified. But as we move into the 3 escape rooms, it gets less and less scary. There are live actors mixed with a bunch of animatronics. The actors do get rather close to you, but it is nothing extreme. Our group did not make it through, but we definitely had a lot of laughs on the way. Escape rooms are great for groups, with the level of creepiness, I would say this is more so for 13+.
