The only reason Sportsbook has a 3.5 stars is because of me - I need to experience more. We sat at the bar on a Holiday (Monday) afternoon. The place had many patrons but room for more. There are games and slot machines, with multiple televisions to watch...what do you know...sports. Aside from that, there doesn't seem to be too much appeal in terms of ambiance. My husband very much liked his wings. He literally said they were some of the best wings he's had in a long time. Just by looking at them they were cooked very well, crispy on the outside and flavorful but glistening with moisture on the inside. Nothing on the menu appealed to me personally, so I stuck with my drink. Our bartender was so sweet though. I wish I knew her name. She provided us with plenty of recommendations for things to do in the area and checked on us multiple times. Just overall good demeanor I'd come back here for a beer and a game. read more

I've been here one time before and it was just OK. Came back to give it another try and did NOT enjoy my experience at all!!! I sat at the bar, there were maybe six people at the bar. The bartender barely spoke to me or looked my way. To receive any service or get her attention I had to shout out to her because she continually walked past me without even checking in. I had to shout out to get a fork, napkins, and even to get the menu. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I left a tip out of courtesy. It gets two stars because the place is clean with plenty TVs around the bar. First and last time visiting here. The waitstaff were very friendly. Really sticky floors and table. Don't order the buffalo chicken breast sandwich. It's just a chicken tender cut in half. My 2 year old granddaughter had a bone in her chicken tender. Asked to speak to a manager but was told they don't have time to discuss this problem. Told our waitress we can have a free meal we declined as not looking for a hand out. My husband wanted wings for dinner and I remembered they just opened near us! We sat down right away and ordered the Nachos for an Appetizer as well as some craft beers that were on tap. We ordered the wings as our main entree and got Old Bay, Lemon Pepper, and General Tso. They were crispy as we ordered them that way and all on point. Natasha was the bartender and she was great! Great first experience. The soft opening is happening now and definitely enjoyed the meal and service. There was no wait for dinner and we were seated in a booth near the front door. Ordered nachos for appetizer and wings extra crispy for the min course. There are many flavor options and we chose Lemon Pepper, Old Bay and General Tso. All were equally as good. I look forward to returning in the near future to try some of the other menu items as there is ample selection to chose something different at each visit. Upon walking in we were greeted and seated. Our drink orders were taken immediately. Our server was polite and quick with drinks. Our server also was attentive to the table and brought refills out for the sodas without asking and took the initiative to clear empty plates from the table when needed. My wife had a Pepsi and I had a Mountain Dew and a beer. Unfortunately they only have pints and I was unable to get a tall boy for my drink but the beer was served cold. We ordered potato skins for an appetizer. Unfortunately they were overcooked and all I could taste was overcooked skin on the potato. They also lacked seasoning. For the main course we both had Cheeseburgers. The burgers were seasoned well and cooked correctly. The french fries were crisp. My wife had a side salad instead of fries. It was a pretty big side salad. She said it was delicious. The atmosphere was a small bar with some tv's for sports viewing. They also had Golden Tee video game. It looked like a good selection of alcohol at the bar. Overall typical bar food. Nothing to write home about. I would consider going here again but only to drink. read more

SportsBook is a new bar in the Nexton plaza. First impressions are that it's clean, but lacks personality. It's almost sterile on the interior. There is a good beer selection on tap, though some of the most popular options were out. My bartender Natasha was very friendly and attentive. I was having a difficult time finding a beer I liked and she was able to recommend one that was very good. I ended up meeting another bartender, April, and we discussed some of the things the bar could improve on. Her personality was enough to convince me that a return visit is in my future. read more

Today we're talking about Sportsbook in Nexton! It's situated in a busy and fun plaza with great shops and activity. The location is perfect and the food and service were top-notch! My husband and I had a late date night and Sportsbook's kitchen was still serving until midnight. We were seated immediately by the hostess and our server, Kelvin was one of the most attentive people in the business. He came back frequently to check on us and always had wonderful energy. He took our order and there wasn't any errors in our meals when they arrived, which was very timely as well. During the short wait Kelvin was sure to come around and give us updates on the food and refill our glasses. The place was buzzing with energy and there were exciting UFC fights on that night. It was great to have a good viewing angle of the action no matter where your seat was. Once the food arrived we really dug in to it. The food was super tasty and comforting! My husband had a Kobe beef burger that was succulent and juicy with an unctuous garlic mayo, and I had 12 wings with lemon pepper seasoning and Thai sweet chili. Once again Kelvin came to check on us to see if we needed anything. We felt valued and we will certainly be back to experience this place again! read more

I went to sportsbook at nexton today for lunch. I got there around 11:30 ish and there was no one else there and not to busy. I was taken my time enjoying so W me time. Reading a good book and then when I did decide to leave I heard the waiter and waitress talking a out me and they kept looking saying I should leave a big tip for the waiter. I did leave tip for the waiter he was good. Went there on a Sunday around 5. Got seated fairly quickly, server showed up a few minutes later. Ordered our drinks an sampler app. Wife got a poor boy and because I love pretzels I got the Pawleys island jumble pretzel. My wife summed it up perfectly when I asked her how she liked it. Not what we expected ! Took my wife to lunch there today and was surprised. Ordered onion ring app. and was expecting one of those towers, well surprise it was 6(?) onion rings. Cooked in really old oil and only 2 were decent sized, other 4 were the thin outer onion ring all for $9 / $1.50 ea. A so-so $15 club sandwich and $17 well done filet mignon sliders. What a disappointment. We ordered through Grubhub, and our order was totally messed up. We only got half the food, and the half we did get was not good. We ordered jalapeños on the burger with regular setup, and there was no setup, and the burger patties were hard. It came with fries, we ordered a salad as the side. I ordered Brussels sprouts with my fish and shrimp, and they put the Brussels sprouts in there with the fish and shrimp. Everything was soggy. And.....You don't put pungent food in with any food. We ordered extra sauces, nope. I ordered tartar and cocktail. Nope. We won't be ordering from here again. Ever. So disappointed. 100 bucks down the tubes. read more

Went last night for the fury fight and our waiter was great and all the food was amazing even with them being super busy.

I do DoorDash deliveries full time for a living- so believe me when I say I've dealt with a lot of long waits, rude employees, etc. But I've never felt as disrespected as I did tonight when I was waiting to be helped at the host desk and a male employee totally ignored me and immediately helped a young couple as soon as they walked in. Literally he acted like I wasn't even standing there. It was very rude and honestly hurtful and I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Sportsbook nexton Been here three times since it opened. Sat at bar twice and at a table once. Once on a Sunday mid day ( not busy) then twice in a weekday. Happy hour. ( not crowded many open tables) What I noticed ALL three times. No urgency to tend to customers either at bar or table. Waitstaff and managers sitting at table socializing with one another not paying attention to table service. Twice I saw tables being sat at and then got up and left because waitstaff didnt visit table. Manager was either out smoking or sitting socializing. Did not check on any customers or staff. Bar was not clean ( full of crumbs and empty glasses ) Seems like staff is not trained in procedures. Soda gun/ Pepsi was flat twice. Food order wait time was about 30 mins then was cold. Bartender was making a mixed drink could not get mixer seal off so she used her teeth to remove the seal then put the top back on. After making the pitcher she labeled the pitcher out in refrigerator but did not cover the top of the pitcher allowing anything to drop into the container. My Empty beer glass at in bar for about 10 mins before me having to asking me for another drink. Cell service dead zone. Asked for our check/tab and waited another 15 mins. Bartender and servers did not know the happy hour specials. With some training and proper management might be a better spot. read more

The food is good. But be prepared for the worst costumer service in your life. The servers all just sit together and ignore you until they're almost forced to serve you. I literally waiting at the host stand for 15 minutes waiting to be seated. There was only a two top in the whole restaurant. When someone finally approached us the said "I'm not the host by I guess I'll seat you" and then sat us and left. Didn't see anyone for another 20 minutes. No waters or anything. The person came back and said "I'm not your server and it's not my turn to serve. Your server is smoking in his car right now so y'all will have to wait" once we finallyyyy get our food it was good. But definitely not worth all of that trouble. ( we only stayed bc everywhere else was closing at 9pm and they were open until very late serving food). So we were going to give them a second chance and order on Uber eats. Waited for an hour and then they canceled my order without a word. Then tried again. Paid 50 dollars for two meals.
