This was my first time playing at this location and it was such a great experience. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The courts will easy to navigate as they were numbered. Plenty of equipment. Indoor and outdoor dining. Accessible restrooms and parking on property. There was a small stage outdoors in which a live performer went on as we were wrapping up our last game. The French fries were delicious as well as the quesadilla. The drinks looked amazing. I would definitely check out this spot again.

Wing sauces. All delicious. Don't remember the names, sorry.

Do I play pickle ball? No. Did I play pickle ball this day? Also no. It was raining and I believe there was one cold family out there braving the weather. I think there were heaters out there. Cannot confirm. ANYWAY! My husband and I wanted to check it out for future play dates. This place is awesome and I cannot wait to play! They have an abundance of courts, a retail shop upon entrance, and a fairly simple system when signing up. When I checked out the leagues they didn't have any that were opening in the near future so that was a bummer, but there are plenty of community leagues. Ok, so you have the retail shop, a large open area with plenty of tables and a stage for their musicians (check out their schedule). To the right is the bar area which is also very spacious with regular tables and half booths with a large number of chairs at the bar. There are a couple of games on the back wall, too. We tried the naked wings with a variety of sauces. I don't remember most, but I do remember the Carolina gold. Regardless, they were all delicious. The wings were a decent size, but cooked for maybe 30 seconds too long? Didn't stop us from demolishing them. The drinks were fantastic! I had two specialty cocktails - a blueberry vodka drink and a pumpkin spice latte espresso martini. Delicious and strong! I'd go back for the drinks alone. I wish I could remember the names of our bartender, the sauces and drinks, but I was enjoying everything so much I just didn't make note. The vibes, the company, the food and drink. It was a great day. Will return soon.

Great experience when a large group visited for a book club outing. We all ordered a variety of drinks and food. The waitress was so kind and sweet - and did a great job with hosting a big table of girls unexpectedly. The mules were great and also loved that they offer rotating sours! Would definitely pop by again, very welcoming and fun

The bar is a nice size and family oriented. Went during Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. I had food and drinks. The low side country quesadilla was amazing everything they put Inside it was perfect blend. The sauce that they drizzled on top was the perfect touch. The sweet potatoes fries were cooked to perfection with a light touch of salt. I never would have thought to put salt on sweet potatoes fries they are a must have.

Went for the pickle ball and stayed for the food! Lots of fun playing but hands down wasn't expecting the food to be so delicious! Lots to choose from and I'd definitely consider coming just for a meal!

A bar with a pickle theme?? What..like pickle margheritas?? Then I pulled up like OHHHHHHH!!!!! OF COOOOURSE!!! IM SO SLOW!!!! I get it, and I likes. First of all, Nexton is beautiful. When they finish it's going to be something special. Pickle players everywhere. You need reservations to get a court. THIS BAR AREA IS BERNANERS DUDE!!! So nice and clean in here. And it's ducked off in the cut. Impressed with the menu. I'm always looking for choices in menus. Hate mundane. The pickle dip is like feta meets dill. I loved it. Wraps and quesadillas were excellent. Some of the better sweet potato fries I've had in a minute. They also have some original cocktails. This was a great business idea. Athletics, good food, and spirits. ILL BE BACK!!!!

The OG Burger at The Pickle Bar turned out to be a stellar intro to this sporty, savory hangout. From the crispy fried pickles to the final fry, everything just worked. Consider us officially hooked -- and already plotting our next taste test adventure on the Pickle Bar menu.

I usually enjoy time spent at the Pickle Bar, I've visited for a variety of reasons to include listening to live music in the "Yard", Happy Hour and even Karaoke on occasion. They advertised Karaoke at 6:30 pm on Instagram, needing a distraction from Christmas shopping and traffic, I thought I would check it out with a friend. Upon entering at 6:15 pm, I asked the tall slender male bar tender which side of the restaurant they would have Karaoke tonight. He says it's on the other side of the restaurant BUT at 6:00 pm we have a PRIVATE party in that room. WE are seating them FIRST and then we will let OTHERS enter that area. I said "It seems strange that you would advertise Karaoke to the PUBLIC at 6:30 but host a PRIVATE party in that room at 6:00 pm????? I then turned to walk away (in my mind this is tacky and I'm leaving) I hear the bar tender say in an extremely LOUD obnoxious voice "Well Have A Good Dayyyy". My advice to the business is, Remember that a business cannot survive on private parties alone. Remember the public will not patronize a business where they are made to feel second fiddle or treated with disregard. I don't think I'll return. The bar tender was rude and lacked appropriate customer service training.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Not only have a celebrated my birthday here, taken lessons and clinics, but I also play in the open play sessions they offer. I find myself here multiple times a week and I've invited my friends and family to join on multiple occasions. I've loved getting to become a part of the picklebar community! The food here is delicious and I've almost ordered everything on the menu at this point. I am gluten free and I am very thankful that the menu offers gluten free selections. The service here has been wonderful. The servers have always been attentive to check on me even while I'm playing on the court. In addition, I know the kitchen is excellent when it comes to allergies or food limitations. I feel very safe eating here. The layout and design of this place is perfection. I love getting to have the outdoor courts outside with a nice area next to it for friends or family members to hang out at while some of us play pickleball. Not to mention, on Saturdays they usually have live music outside that just makes the atmosphere perfect! The picklebar is definitely becoming a very well rounded and welcoming community for not only pickleball enthusiasts. They also offer salsa, Zumba, host trivia nights, live music, and have an upcoming karaoke night!!

What a concept!! I visited the pickle bar with some friends that were visiting the area. My group had never played pickle ball before, but we watched a quick YouTube video and gave it our best try. They do offer lessons from a local pro if that's more of your groove. The pickle bar offers both covered and uncovered courts and they are available to rent hourly. In addition to renting the court you can rent paddles and a pickle ball. If you prefer to bring your own paddles and ball, that is ok too! They have a full service bar so that you can indulge in your favorite drink while playing! They have some cool speciality cocktails, but I went with a beer from a local brewery. While you're playing, the staff comes and checks on you to see if you need additional drinks or if you want to order some bites. My only comment is that there needs to be a full fence that separates the courts. During our time playing, our ball rolled into the courts adjacent from ours and people had to stop their game. Besides this minor flaw, this place is awesome and I'll totally be back!!

Brand new and clean. Went just to get lunch. Food was fast and fresh with friendly and attentive service. Got a Bloody Mary with pickle vodka which was actually phenomenal. Super crispy loaded fries and their house made ranch was delicious!

New business. Very clean facilities. I came as a spectator. They have a full service bar and food menu. Lots of cool outdoor seating. Every Saturday they have live music. Saw lots of single people, couples and families playing the game. Overall fun atmosphere, friendly staff.

My husband and I came here on the first night we moved to SC from out of state. I ordered the smoked wings w/signature dry rub and a side salad. The shrimp had a very strong, fishy smell that was honestly off-putting, and the flavor matched. It almost seemed like the addition of wine was an attempt to mask the issue rather than enhance the dish. The grits were also disappointing--lumpy and lacking the smooth, creamy texture you'd expect. That said, not everything missed the mark. My coworkers ordered the chicken salad, chicken wrap with sweet potato fries , blackened chicken pasta, and bruschetta, and all of those dishes were absolutely delicious and well prepared. They definitely helped redeem the overall experience and show the kitchen is still capable of putting out great food. Adri was our server, and she was an absolute delight--a total gem. She never missed a beat and was completely on top of everything. I also appreciated the convenience of the location. I parked across the street in the garage, which was well lit, safe, and very close. There's plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, which adds to the appeal. I'm hoping this was just an off day, because Montreux has been a favorite in the past. I'd love to see the shrimp and grits return to the quality they were once known for. The hardware store even has a post office inside, so it's truly a one-stop-shop here. The outdoor area is gorgeous and filled with plants- and the plants are also for sale. I'm sure some customers spend a good bit on making their yards beautiful after a few beers. There's ample seating, with tons of chairs, small tables for groups of 2-3, and picnic tables. A food truck was there serving smash burgers, and I believe they have a rotation of food trucks since they don't serve food. Bolts and Brews is limited to beer and wine (no liquor), but you'll find plenty to drink. Draft beers are limited but marked on the menu. Many of the beers are canned, and you'll find local favorite breweries (Edmunds Oast, Snafu, Holy City) as well as a lot of beers from breweries in other states. This is the beauty of being mostly a canned beer spot. They also do flights of mimosas and at the time, offered a full six flavors of mimosa. I had a mimosa with a mixture of peach and mango juice, which the friendly beer-tender recommended. It was a good pour for only $6 and hit the spot after a VERY hot 5K in one of the neighborhoods nearby. You can grab a beer here after buying plants or shopping in the hardware store- and folks do- but Bolts and Brews is also a destination with comedy nights, bingo (the prizes are plants), sip and paint night, and live music on Fridays. The folks who manage this spot have really transformed it from a hardware store to a place where the community can gather. If Fleet Feet hadn't co-hosted the fun run/walk 5K with them, I wouldn't have known about Bolts and Brews, but I'm glad I do. If I lived closer, I'd be a regular here.
