(i haven't gone regularly enough to justify this), but this has now become my goto spot when I need a quick wash. I typically get the extreme seal wash (although i dont know if it really makes a difference), but either way my car always comes out looking great. read more

I don't get all the fuss. The literal worst thing about this place was the wait. I hadn't driven my car in almost 3 months. Girl was dusty and needed some love. I thought going in the morning would be better for wait times. I was wrong. I've seen the line longer but even being one car away from the driveway was over 30 mins waiting. So for that I'll take off 2 stars bc I don't understand why it takes so long. Other than that, free vacuums and it did a good job. One of the vacuums wasn't that great so I switched to another. Easy. My girl looked great and I have no complaints besides the time. Pasadena, California. Love. My favorite touch - free (brushless) car wash lives here. I love the monthly subscription. It is a super convenient 5 min laser wash that does not erode my car exterior as regular car washes. I wish Spot Free had a detailing business as I have to go to another location for that. The Monrovia location is better, The person Infront of me who was next had to get out and walk around to talk to an attendant. Im guessing the system froze or had an error that needed to be cleared. After the wash my truck was still dirty, the bird poop still there. The dryer not strong enough my car was still wet all over. It's like the dryer was shooting out water or something. I was expecting air compressor blowers and the vacuum station but none there only vacuums. There's only 2 of them awkwardly placed around the gas station. An absolute waste of money! I purchased their membership during the July 4 sale. After waiting 45 minutes to get into the car wash I scanned my membership barcode and then was asked to pay an additional three dollars for the wash. What is the purpose of the membership if I also have to pay an additional three dollars? After contacting them three times for a refund request they have still not reached back out to me. I selected canceled membership, which they automatically canceled the membership, but I still have not heard from anybody about a refund. Other than their phone call AI program where you submit your inquiries, there's no other way to contact for a real person. They're supposed to reach out to horrible customer. read more

About a year ago, the lowest-tier membership was $24.99 and included both tire cleaning and an underbody spray. Now, that same tier costs $29.99 -- and they removed those features, quietly moving them to a higher tier instead. What's worse is that there was absolutely no communication about these changes. No email, no app notification, no signage. Just a surprise downgrade in service for a higher price. In California, this kind of behavior borders on illegal. Under the California Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17602), companies are required to clearly disclose any material changes to a subscription or membership in advance, especially when they involve a price increase or reduction in services. That didn't happen here. Customers deserve transparency -- not bait-and-switch tactics. I've canceled my membership and will take my business somewhere that values honesty. read more

This review is for their first tier $9.99 spot free. I am a detailer and I keep my car regularly maintained, about 2x a week. My car has everything ceramic coated from the wheels to the glass and everything in between. Sometimes I pick up a lot of road film or dust/dirt following behind dirty cars while I'm out normally in the area. Now I can totally just go home and wash it myself, but on the road or going to car meets it's a lot more convenient since I'm on the way AND I stock towels in my car. From their interface I think the cheapest membership is for the $24.99 that includes the armor all sealant. I could be wrong but I wish they had a membership for the base level. This does an amazing job touching up my already well maintained vehicle and I'm satisfied with the water quality, virtually no streaking or spotting(but I park and wipe off any excess). I have done the triple foam about twice when my car had some nastier road film and grunge (think driving through standing water) and it got it off no problem, follow up wipes with my towels were clean meaning no left over road film. It doesn't really get into the barrel of the wheel and it does leave some dirt in the corners of the spokes but you are doing touchless so what do you expect. Highly recommend this spot for well maintained and detailed vehicles! Super convenient area and access. Line can get long during peak times. Come here late at night or early morning. No experience with thrashed cars. read more

I even drove out to the car wash and was told by the same attendant who double charged me that he couldn't do anything about it. He said call the customer service number. So frustrating! Reasonable. Does a solid job cleaning the car. Definitely much better for your car than using a traditional automated car wash. It takes about 5 minutes per car, so you can do the math how long it'll take once you get there. Definitely not fast when five cars are in front of you. But ok if it's only one car or if you can mentally prepare for the wait. My suggestion would be to add a sign upfront to point that out so people don't get stuck in the line and get all frustrated if they don't know that it's not going to be a fast experience. Since my last review, they have moved around the vacuums which has made the car wash more appealing, since you wont get blocked in. I've also since bought the monthly pass which is worth it imo since it pays for itself after the 2nd wash. We waited in line for 30-35 minutes last night with about 5 cars ahead of us. One of the workers came out & placed the closed sign behind my car because I would be the last car that would get a wash for the night.. When we finally pulled up to the machine, we paid for our wash & were waiting for the car in front to finish their wash. Once 9 o'clock hit they shut off the machine & the entire wash turned off. We were not able to get our car washed & were told we needed to come back the next day to get it washed instead. Even though we had already paid for the wash & waited all that time in line!! The car wash is ok, definitely worth the $7 I paid for the basic wash. The first time I came here it was great. They had maybe 4 free vacuums. This past time I went all of the vacuums were gone!! There was one vacuum that was conveniently out of service. And it looked like employees were parked in front of it so no one would use it. The price is excellent. We chose the $12 option. The car gets a bath while you sit in the car. It's a strange experience at first. What I don't like is the blow dry at the end which allows another car to enter. Also because it's one at a time the wait can be long until it's your turn. I just waited in the line for 35 minutes to get my car washed. I paid and it was finally my turn. I pull through the wash and the machine didn't recognize that the next car had driven through. I tried to back up to trigger the sensor but instead the machine just started yelling at me and forced me to drive through. I had to get back in line and start the process all over again, this time even more cars back.
