I initially went to Alicia (she's amazing!!) and as her business has grown I had the happy accident of having been scheduled with Ashley. She's equally amazing as Alicia. She even checked in with me a few days post-tanning appointment to see how the tan was holding up. Wait what?! That has never happened before. (Her tans are impeccable, by the way). Literally, one of the best experiences of customer service I have ever received! So I haven't had a spray tan in like 10 years (and never with an actual person spraying me) and I have an engagement shoot on Monday that I wanted to look sun kissed for. I went in yesterday at 12:30 and all the girls there were super nice and helpful, apparently I even had the owner do my spray which is nice. They gave me the run down of do's and don'ts and told me to wait 8 hours to shower. So, I tried to follow the instructions to the best of my ability and hopped in the shower around 9pm. When I got out, I had 2 large white patches and I freaked out! (like way more than I should have probably lol but hey, wedding planning will do that!). So I jumped online and saw the shop was closed and I couldnt find an email to send a message for help. I left a note on Yelp, and about 10 mins after I got a call from the owner Alicia- even though it was close to 10pm. She calmed me down and had me send photos to her cell, then told me step by step what to do. She also told me to check in with her in the morning and if I was still uneven, to come in and she'd fix is right away. Fast forward to today, and I woke up with a perfect tan! she was 100% right about what to do and what would happen, I didn't even need to go in for any correction. I will absolutely be back for another spray before my wedding and I'm also sending my groom and any bridesmaids I can. I just had my first spray tan experience at Spray Studios yesterday and I'm already seeing great results. I have an all over glow and I'm not too dark, which is what I expressed when I got there. I don't have any streaks or orange tint. This is significantly better than the spray tan booths (which they don't have). The owner gave me the tan and she was very knowledgeable. She has been doing this for over 6 years! I will say that with a spray tan comes many rules. To protect your skin there's only certain products you can use for body wash and lotion. Just keep this in mind because if you want the tan to last, you'll need to buy their products. They have products there for you to buy and as a first time customer I got half off. Just be sure to check the barcodes/price sticker because I got charged for a different product. I plan on going back next week to get a tan for my wedding. I've been a spray studio customer since the beginning! While I'm not a frequent visitor, I NEVER leave disappointed, which says a lot. Growing up on Miami, was never a fan of Spray Tans! As a fair natural red head, with a love of a good tan, I have probably had upwards of 150 spray tans in the last 5 years. I've done it all (mystic, versa, Raw, and a myriad of self applied tanners). None of them compare to the amazing tans Andrea gives me at the spray studio. I absolutely LOVE Alicia! I've been getting spray tans for years but never gotten it done so well. Everytime I got it done it would look messy, patchy and not natural. I am seriously obsessed with my tan. I came here just based off the businesses IG. It looked like a fun place & definitely a higher end spray tan. Every time I leave I'm obsessed with myself & the color. Whatever solution they use works brilliantly along with the method. It's the best color/spray I have ever had. The best part is it lasts too. I've had spray tans where when it fades it gets blotchy. This is far from the case here. They aren't lying when they say it lasts 5-7 days & it fades beautifully. There's no awkward phase before my next spray tan of uneven skin color. I wish this place was worldwide because everyone who spray tans needs this color in their life. When it was my first time there I requested a darkness as 8/10 & it came out more beautiful than I could imagine. I understand now why the price is the way it is. I went to Spray Studio on Tuesday to get a tan for a wedding this weekend. In the past, my spray tans have been streaky and have left my hands and ankles extremely orange. I figured if the tan didn't look good, I would have enough time to attempt to scrub it off before the weekend. My tan looks AMAZING. It hasn't streaked at all and I've had multiple people ask if I've been to the beach lately bc it looks so natural. Overall, I had a great experience and will be back. I have had air brushes done all over town through the years and Spray Studio is absolutely heads above all the others. Very clean facility and very attentive staff. I appreciate that they are not pushing their products and tanning packages on you the minute you walk in the door. I like a dark tan which can turn sort of orange after a couple of days. I've been to many studios around Atlanta and I'm sticking with this one! Ashley did all of my tans leading up to my wedding and my wedding day tan! It was perfect and I looked perfectly tan, not orange. I always use their products (body wash and lotion) to keep the tan longer and I have never had a problem. It's never worn off or been splotchy! I'm extremely picky when it comes to custom spray tans. I was instantly impressed with Spray Studio as soon as I walked in the door. The salon is clean and bright. The private rooms are stocked with everything you need for a successful custom spray tan. First to impress me is Ashley. She is so wonderful! The most amazing customer service and extremely knowledgeable about the products and services. She gave me the complete rundown on everything I needed to do before coming in for my spray tan. Her attention to detail was impressive, even for a long-time spray tanner. This is the first time I went to an actual salon to be sprayed, I have always had someone come to my home, and I knew the ladies, so going to a real spray tan salon was a new experience. On a funny note...I'm "directionally challenged", so I had to call a few times to make sure I was going to the right spot, Ashley was so sweet and laughed when I realized I was right next door. Seriously, the salon is easy to find...I just needed a little extra guidance. As soon as I walked in, Ashley greeted me and I was brought back to a private and very clean room that had everything I needed to prepare for my tan. Oh, let me not forget that the room was cozy and warm...very important when you need to be naked. :-) I flipped the switch to show I was ready. Alicia came in and was completely relaxed, which made me feel better, especially since I just met her and I was half naked. Alicia explained the two types of spray tans they offered and went into details on what I could expect. I decided to go with the "fast acting" or Quick Tint as they call it. I've always done the spray tans that you wait 8 hours to shower or sleep in the tanning solution and shower the next day. Alicia made me feel comfortable in trying something new...so happy I did. As soon as she finished spraying me, she explained the details on what I needed to do to keep my tan streak free and lasting. No sooner did Alicia leave the room that I pulled the side of my bikini bottom down to see the difference. Ok, obviously everyone will see a difference, I mean I did just get sprayed, but this was different, perfect lines, and darker than I was use to. When I checked out Ashley gave me instructions on what I needed to do that evening and the next several days to keep my tan looking great, as well as what to do when it begins to fade. They even wrote down the exact time I needed to shower...something I absolutely need! I am so happy I found Spray Studio on Yelp and gave it a try. I have now found my go-to custom spray tan salon in Atlanta. One last thing that is a HUGE deal for me...I almost paid $70 for a spray tan at another salon, that I am a member of...so that's a discounted price, really?? Again, I have had more customer airbrush tans than I can count, from California to Texas and all ladies came to my home, and I never paid $70. I'm not cheap, but that's simply too much for a spray tan. Not only is Spray Studio affordable, the package deals they offer cannot be beat! If you're a first time customer, make sure to check in on Yelp and save $5.00. And don't pass up the great deals on the lotions and scrubs they have!!! read more
