The rear aluminum rain gutter took a direct hit. Since the gutter is seamless, the entire rear 48 feet needed replacement. And since the gutter on the front of the house, and all of the downspouts had seen better days, we decided to get the entire system replaced - around 96 linear feet of gutters and all four downspouts. And that's how I ended up working with Don and Liberty Insulation who did our gutter replacement. The job looks great, and Liberty's price was outstanding. I had an insurance adjuster friend run an estimate on her software, and her number exceeded Liberty's!! Communication with Liberty was a mixed bag. It started off and ended up very good but had some lags and delays in the middle. Liberty is weather sensitive and doesn't work in the rain.

Claimed to be an approved energize CT contractor and was going to handle reimbursement from energize CT fund from start to finish, to include extend my rebate for reimbursement of $3,000+cost. Paid upfront and Nope, didn't happen. He's not approved as an energize CT contractor. Stopped return phone calls. Now I'm out $3,000. Insulation in exterior walls were not installed to R15 pack as claimed. House is cold. Walls I have insulated personally are warm to touch, walls they supposed filled to R15 are cold from exterior temperature. The exterior holes they make, they don't seal those properly to avoid cold and hot air from entering. I had to do that myself to stop air from entering walls. Do yourself a favor and find another company to do the work. I bought into his nice guy, great business, great reviews bull and now I'm paying the price for it. If I could give Best Home Performance no stars, I would.

Mind you he shows up at 130 and leaves at 3:00 and really didn't get much accomplished. Then he is suppose to show up the next day guess what a no show someone called out sick again. Finally show up 5 days later he shows up at 10:00 and he is alone again! He did work while he was here but left nails and screws in the yard and on the deck along with leaving the back gate wide open which was closed when he got here for our dogs.
