I'm 47 now so walking through the door for the first time was a pretty big deal for me. From the front desk to being in the dental chair, everyone made me feel comfortable, safe, and never embarrassed about how long it had been (or how wildly messed up my teeth were). The whole process took about a year. I had my upper teeth removed and implants done on the top, along with some implant work on the bottom. It was a big process, but Dr. Read and team made it so much easier than I expected. Megan was part of the team taking care of me during most of my visits, and she was excellent as well. Having the same person there so often made a big difference, especially with my anxiety. She was always patient, reassuring, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The final result is incredible. My teeth look natural, feel natural, and are strong enough that I don't really even think about them being implants. They used some really impressive technology throughout the process, and you can tell a lot of care and pride went into making sure everything looked and felt right. When everything was finally finished, I actually teared up because I was so happy with how I looked and most importantly - how I felt. I don't think I realized how much of a burden having bad teeth had been until that burden was gone. Being able to smile without thinking about it is a pretty amazing feeling. If you have dental anxiety, have avoided the dentist for years, or are considering implants, I would absolutely recommend the entire team. I'm genuinely grateful I finally went through with it.

That visit was a huge disappointment--they recommended multiple fillings and other procedures for my daughter that didn't seem right. I decided to drive the 30+ minutes back to this office, and I've never looked back. Dr. Harpavat is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and conservative in her approach. She never recommends unnecessary treatment and always takes the time to explain her recommendations. As a parent, that gives me tremendous peace of mind. Even more impressive, my kids actually love going to the dentist! I certainly don't remember feeling that way as a child, and I think that says a lot about the caring and welcoming environment she has created. As a microbiologist and scientist myself, I value evidence-based, ethical healthcare providers. I trust Dr. Harpavat completely with my children's dental care. I also can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lankford, who has been my dentist. Years ago, I suffered an injury that fractured my front tooth and damaged several lower teeth. Eventually, the root of the crowned front tooth became infected and could not be saved. Dr. Lankford guided me through every step of the process, referred me to an outstanding oral surgeon for my implant, and later restored it with a beautiful, high-quality crown. Throughout the entire experience, he was compassionate, supportive, and always available to answer my questions. The final result looks and feels amazing, and I couldn't be happier. His skill, honesty, and attention to detail are exceptional. Both Dr. Harpavat and Dr. Lankford are dentists I trust completely. They are knowledgeable, ethical, conservative in the best way, and genuinely care about their patients. Even though we now live in Sienna, it's absolutely worth the drive to continue seeing them. I recently had a crown pop off and went to another dentist out of travel convenience and it was a nightmare that Dr. Lankford had to fix. The other doctor was going to place a crown over an old filling and decays, but luckily their permanent crown broke upon seating and I was able to see Dr. Lankford for a second opinion. The nitrous was 1/3 of the cost of the other office I went to and my crown was extremely reasonably priced. I was comfortable the entire time and my coworker I referred here also relayed to me she's never felt so comfortable and at ease at a dentist. I will never see another dentist as long as I live in the Houston area.

After I recently complained of pain and after x-rays, my dentist referred me to Dr. Orfanos. The appointment was easy to make. I saw the doctor without any wait time. He recommended an extraction and then gave me time to ask as many questions as I needed. I left the office feeling like I was in good hands. He shares the office with two other professionals. The office is very professional and designed to move things along smoothly without frustration. There was always someone to answer the phone and provide information. The charges were broken down and provided in writing before the procedure. The day of the procedure, I arrived early but had to wait longer than what I had been told (not that much longer) because of an emergency. Even that was explained to me. The assistant who took me to the surgical room, was very personable, reassuring, and warm which is always important when having an invasive procedure. The tech who took the scan before the procedure and the anesthesiologist were more on task and seemed to know their craft which was reassuring in its own way. Overall, it seems that the office spends time and money on training their staff. Interestingly, the competence on the front end gave me confidence on the back end (the actual procedure). The pre and post op were explained in detail many times and I was also given written instructions. They require a support person to drive you there and back home and they were also given instructions. It makes sense to be repetitive to make sure the information is communicated especially when there is some stress involved in dealing with medical procedures. Overall, the experience involved less stress and pain than I thought, and I would highly recommend this doctor and practice.
